We are officially heading WEST!! The three of us (Mark, Kate, Travis) couldn't be more excited for our van life journey to get fully underway. After living in our van in Acadia National Park for quite some time, it feels so so good to be out in new territory. The White Mountains of New Hampshire are incredible!
This episode features our journey from Maine to New Hampshire, along with our first official free camping experience. Beyond excited to see where to van life takes us next (hint: we are on our way to Colorado).

WOO WOO!! East Coast repping! Although... I hate to break it to ya.... we are on our way out west (neither of us have ever explored much out there).... however there will be a few more awesome days of New England van life before we are out there! We will eventually meander our way back to the East though, so don't worry! I'm loving the energy you have for the east; it needs more love!!

Ok, I’m going to sound rude, but every time you say “mountains”, I chuckle. Keep heading west my friend, to find some true mountains. Ironically, the locals will call 10,000+ mountains, “hills” out west. Of course, that’s not to take away anything from the East - it is still beautiful there!

Oh yes oh yes, of course! I’ve been out to a Colorado. NOW, I will say, do not underestimate those mountains in New Hampshire. We went on a hike that had an elevation gain of over 4000 feet which is actually a larger gain than most hikes out west. It was a tough one! 😂
