Hiking MOUNT MADISON + CAMPFIRE NACHOS | Van Life in New Hampshire // WFTV_EP28

In today's episode, we hike up to the summit of Mount Madison in the Presidential Range of the White Mountains. This was an incredible hike and the views from the summit truly blew us away. If you are ever up in New Hampshire, HIKE THIS TRAIL!!!
After the hike, we take our van to a beautiful camp spot for the night (perhaps our favorite of van life so far). Campfire nachos were the highlight of our night, along with finally using our Nemo Solar Shower! The nachos hit the spot and the shower was one of the best we have ever taken.

Mount Madison is the northernmost peak in the Presidential Range and has a summit of 5,367 feet. The hike up is challenging, but worth every step. As you can tell, all of the mountains in the Presidential Range are named after presidents of the United States, with Mount Washington being the tallest at over 6,000 feet!! This section of the White Mountains is the most popular, but for good reason.

Nice! 4000 foot elevation gain is a good trek so good going. I always tell people, “Climb those mountains while you can still climb them. Don’t wait.” Your enthusiasm is infectious.
