Honestly, I feel kinda bad for slow seline: when we are playing her game she says “I was promised something painless” and “please…it hurts” makes me think that she was forced to do this and is actually a good person.
Opila as well, she just wanted to protect her babies and I hope both seline and opila will become allies to us.
I think that maybe nabnab was forcing both of them to do this, especially with seline
i feel this way with banbaleena, i think she says sometime during her section or the chase that she wanted another chance to be a better teacher or something similar :( i really felt bad for her

I have a theory myself.
Ban Ban and Opila Bird are mistaken as villains to the kids due to their appearances. Stinger Flynn must've used this as an advantage to kidnap them. And that he is the creature that resides in the abyss. The "little surgery" mentioned by Ban Ban might've been a "throw-off" (my way of saying a distraction) as I think that Stinger Flynn must've been forcing Ban Ban to kidnap the protagonist. And my back up for that is, why would the keycards be scattered again if Ban Ban needed them? Maybe, when he got the chance Ban Ban hid them away, so Stinger Flynn couldn't find them, and also handing one to BanBaleena thinking he could trust her. That's what I believe.

People keep saying stinger Flynn is the main antagonist of garten of banban but I don't think he is cuz banban is the principal of the facility and in the assembly room it seems that since there's a door with his character, stinger Flynn is also a servant of banban since he gives them orders and tells them what to do through the intercom. But zolphius looks like he plays a bigger role in the game, bigger than banban and the other mascots, but zolphius is said to be in the basement, while banban said the kids are being held captive by an entity that resides in the ABYSS! Not the basement. So since we're looking for our children who have been captured by the entity in the ABYSS , the entity is probably the main antagonist of the game. I also feel like that giant moon face guy isn't zolphius since zolphius turns hostile when awoken while the moon just watches you. but maybe the moon is one of a few more characters down in the basement who serve zolphius. There's also something about the sold called whispers and faces said to be seen in the abyss hinting that they might be henchmen or subordinates for the entity in the abyss.

With how much of an Improvement this chapter is over the first chapter; Now I'm even more invested in the lore & overall story of this Game!!
Right? I was expecting more back in chapter one because it had a lot of potential, now using that potential to their advantage I think chapter three is gonna be interesting
I just hope the developer isn't as stupid as Poppy Playtime's develeoper when they sold NFTs and trying to be greedy to make the movie while the whole game hasn't finished yet. But, they at least redeem themselves by giving Project Playtime which is a multiplayer game and prequel of the events.
It seems clear that these Maniacal Mascots are just giant lumps of colorful clay molded to look like the artistic incarnations we see everywhere, but fueled by a mixture of certain DNA Samples (like Human Blood and Flamingo) and this Givanium substance. The fact that they're made of clay makes perfect sense as to why they (almost) perfectly resemble the Characters painted onto the walls in both Chapters.
However, it seems the more answers we find, the more questions develop: What’s the deal with this Zolphius guy? How did they know about Givanium? What does Stinger Flynn want with the Mother’s Children? What caused BanBan to remain sane and calm, while the others didn't? There's only one way to find out, and that's to wait for Chapter 3.

I can't play horror games as I'm easily scared - yet I still find them fascinating. Your "Story Explained" videos are my favourite way of engaging in horror games; I still get to know the story, the eastereggs and the little secrets without having to play (or watch, that's terrible too) any horror games myself

There’s a note behind the cannon where a scientist talks about a fight also if you turn around during the opila bird chase you can see banbaleena leading to the door

There’s also a note in the nabnab chase area. It’s on the platform of the sign that shows how to follow the arrows. I think I’ve only seen 2 playthroughs where someone actually noticed it.

I have a theory about the ballpit.
As stated, the ballpit was gonna collapse due to the high amounts of children. So assuming the ballpit has not collapsed, we can safely say the Opila Bird was playing with the children with a motherly and protective behavior against the adults (parents and maintenance workers). The next day when double the children were playing, it collapsed. And as seen in the ballpit there are bird-like footprints going up the wall so that means the Opila Bird climbed up from the ballpit suffeering minor injuries. Also in the second note by the child of the protagonist, it states that the jellyfish "saved" them from the big bird and evil red man. We know that banban is the principal of this kindergarten so probably he was also playing with the children in the ballpit but he sensed that it was gonna collapse so he saved himself and the children but it was too late the children along with the Opila Bird had fallen supposedly "died". In one of Banbaleena's dialogue, she states that octupus have 3 hearts, "us" humans (Us, Banbaleena, and the "students") have 1 heart and Stinger Flynn has ___. But we can't really say that these "students" and Banbaleena are humans so according to my theory about the ballpit, Banban probably told the news to Banbaleena. We can see in Banbaleena's model that she looked as if she cried. We know that she is a teacher at this kindergarten so it's natural for a teacher to cry and maybe became delusional since she had no one to teach so she took some bowling pins, watering cans, and basketballs to be her "students". We know that the mascots have the memories of the human donor. So most likely the donor for Banban was a principal and Banbaleena to be a teacher at a school probably married or in a relationship. Although they can't remember each other's names they probably settled for the name they were given (Banban and Banbaleena). We can safely assume that Stinger Flynn captured or kidnapped the children. About Stinger Flynn, at the elevator at the end, although we don't know what's down there, I think it will be Stinger Flynn's hideout where he might have kept the children.
Anyways this was a bit long lol but for me... thats just a theory....

I think the children are still alive because why would the protagonist come and they would all be dead. I think that if the ball pit collapsed the children might have hit the bottom of the ball pit and broke some bones but a fun fact is if you dont take care of a broken bone you only have a year to get it fixed or you will die but the children still have time to live but they could die from starvation or dehydration but thats just a theory

You are one of the only CZcamsrs I can find that actually play this game for fun, most just play it to crap on it.

Edit: I have seen a lot of people saying the game deserves the hate. I agree it is not a good game. But it was also created by two obviously inexperienced guys with likely little budget. I wasn't expecting the game to be good. So it confused me when people get so mad about it. It is just some small cheap indie game, I do agree it got more attention then it deserves. But the hate talk around the game is what made it popular to begin with, so more of it will only continue it's popularity.
Check out playthroughs of Banban by Thinknoodles, Manlybada**hero, and Bijuu Mike. They seemed to enjoyed it, and didn't mock the game. Thinknoodles and Bijuu Mike made a secrets video on it too. These yt-rs are also usually nice and don't really mock games.
To be honest it is pathetic THE MODELS HAVE MORE PIXELS THAN KRATOS FROM THE GOD OF WAR REMAKE the drone controller has like 800 of em or something ridiculous
@@Skyrim29293 The amount of pixels in something isn't an accurate way of denoting the quality of a model. Pixel art for example can have AMAZING quality with really effective visual designs... But is, by it's very nature, an extremely low pixel count. In regards to the Kratos thing, that's not great either, because despite apparently having less pixels, his model still looks better.
i agree! SHB has a supportive community too, other lets players’ fans seem to enjoy only crapping on it as well. i hope the third game improves by leaps and bounds!

Videos like this are just giving more effort and attention to a franchise that doesn't deserve it, especially when both "games" can be beaten within the Steam refund time limit. Handily.
Going off the lore room I can actually see why josh and Saline are “acceptable” or middle of the test.
Josh has a very unslightly appearance with both his massive size (he is bigger then the player a adult thus likely very freaky for a kid) and the noticeable veins everywhere. While Saline seems to be blind. I say that because despite looking right at you she never seems to “notice” you unless you move. She even looks in the rooms like she is looking for you. She can detect movement but nothing else.
I also ignored behavior since that could bw caused by something else
I forgot to add josh and Saline basically work as prof of concepts. They have flaws but also work nabnab seems to have been hostile from the start, this why they are marked out as deadly while Saline does have a game rules it doesn’t look like a death game. She may have just had a thing for red light greenlight or something

I don’t know if this has been talked about somewhere else, but I think Banban’s human donor was the uthman Adam guy whose boarding pass was found a while back. There is a note somewhere discussing Banban meeting his donor, a scientist who they decide to call UA for short. Uthman Adam was a scientist working on the experiments and anyway is the only person with those initials we’ve seen so far.

I do believe the original "For you" tape from BanBan 1 is the recording of the moment the Ball pit gave out and collapsed with the children (and maybe workers?) At least its the most reasonable assumption lol

For a character who has a nicknamed as The Devil, Banban sounds like a chill dude which is really odd. I thought his voice should sound terrifying like in higher pitch or lower pitch, you know like an actual Devil.
Just realized that after the single mention of the 'surgery' it's never brought up again. No parts of the protagonist's body are seen which is in line with the original game but could hide that the protagonist has already been turned into a mascot. This would not necessarily protect the protagonist from the other mascots as Banban himself was locked away by someone but could have saved the protagonist from Zolphius due to it being confused about their true nature. Could also be an easy twist to pull when they are reunited with their child.

This is good but I feel like I should point out that the playable character in the game doesn't have to be the "mommy" being talked to in the notes. They could be...but the child could just be writing to his own mother and hoping she finds them...doesn't mean for sure that it is us. Just thought I'd point this out. I don't know if Mike will read this or not but I thought it might be worth saying. 🙂
Fact: the reason why we start off with the orange keycard is that, the last keycard door we opened last time to the crashed elevator was in fact, the orange keycard in Garten of Banban Chapter 1

OK here's what I know.
1. Banban and Opila Bird are experiments created to be friendly and calm with children
2. Weverly and Uthman are scientists and in charge of deadly experiments. Also they were supposed to go to Madrid, which is some kind of a place on Earth.
But, they died
3. There was supposed to be announcement about revealing Banban and other mascots, which are supposed to be friendly creatures playing with children. But, they went riot
4. All mascots have memories of who they were, which is human. They are intelligent. But, they don't remember there loved ones
5. Zolphius was a rejected experiment
6. Notes left by child and Claire were written to guide our protagonist
7. Kid who left the notes in chapter 1 and 2 is protagonist's child
8. Givanium is a substance that is inside each and every creature to keep them alive, become more monster like and it creates some weird groves in their body.
9. First was human, clay material and GV.
Finally mascot created
5:07 18:32 It seems like the creatures were made out of clay and injected with givanium and human dna to bring them to life and give them some human capabilities. Not souls or rituals. In the first game, Banban said on the wall he wants people's pancreas. In the second game, Banban knocked out the MC and said he was going to do surgery on the MC. The story is there. You could've just paid attention to this video that's titled Story Explained. Don't just make false assumptions to try to discredit devs. Also, even if it was similar, I don't mind.

I'm glad the creators kept this game going despite the hate. While this game does play a bit too far into the mascot horror, I'm actually really invested in the story and lore.
Even though the game lacks effort/creativity at least they made up for it in occasional humor. Also the devs did not at all deserve the hate/death threats they got.

Superhorrorbro Mike. The only horror commentator who doesn't discuss a poorly made game just to hate on it (which is easy to do. I understand, but everyone does it) and make ad revenue, and only discusses it at least once or twice in short summation.
Also in amazed just how many horror games have a giant facility underneath some normal building or even a house as if it's government funded

It may be lower quality compared to more popular horror titles, but judging from the accents of the voices the creators are from Indonesia which is a relatively new devscene. Pretty good as an early effort.

It's comical to think that there's so much genuine lore hidden behind this hideous mess of a game. It's a cool concept in theory but the way they've executed it does no justice whatsoever - it falls completely flat. I think garten of ban ban as a whole needs a total visual and gameplay overhaul - similarly to what happened with BATIM getting minor updates to previous chapters as chapter 4 and 5 released.
Also your narration somehow manages to make this game sound so much more appealing than it is. Great watch aha!

You can get a skull ending in Ms.Lemons and you can get a key, after the skull ending you have to type Ms.Luise in the game and in which you will get a door and after you can get a secret code. Maybe its the decapsulation code who knows?
Watch Bijuu Mike's plays of Ms. Lemons. Lemons has a secret painting room if you type in Ms. Luis. You can also put your key with Mr. Tomato so Lemons won't steal it.

I really like this series! The developers did a really good job with the storyline so far! And having Mike playthrough it is an extra Bonus!!!!

Hey mike can you pls play in sound mind pls, it’s a psychological horror game about a therapist who travels through the thoughts and memories of his now dead patients in the form of cassette tapes, it’s full of puzzles, mysteries, interesting characters and awesome music as well as a amazing story, it’s really fun and emotional but extremely underrated for some reason and the game isn’t even that old.
I do like some features of this game though. The opila chicks are adorable, and the mechanics for the snail are pretty cool. I also like the design of Captain Toadster.
I appreciate that Mike isn't ripping into the game like other CZcamsrs have. Don't get me wrong, I think Garten of Banban definitely deserves its negative reception, but it can get a little tiring to hear it being criticized ad infinitum. I'm glad that this video just focuses on explaining the story and secrets, and not constantly harping on the game - it's a rare attitude to have.

I think the thing banban was talking about, that had the children, is the big thing in the abyss that you see after completing the first sector.
At the beginning of GoB 2 we are introduced into the "click the clock to advance time" thingy. Which shows tables dissapearing. Later on in the game there is a note written by an employee stating that the spider is real & these tables arent holding it back. This shows that the spider must have breached the main area in the comms sector, attacking employees.
Is the game good, No, but does it deserve all the hate it gets, no, I think it's an alright little indie game that's trying, also, people should really not send threats to the creators, they don't deserve it
Btw banban said that what resided in the abyss was stronger than both him and the protagonist referring to the long worm like creature back in the start

Other people have videos of it, but after you use Josh to get the keycard, before heading to the elevator, backtrack a bit and you can see Nabnab at the far end of the hall
I have a gut feeling that during the first question that banbaleena asks, that the numbers she gives are phone numbers leading to easter eggs. The reason being that the sum of the two numbers should be 11 digits instead of 10, and phone numbers have 10 digits. It's a possibility, but idk if it's relevant or if the numbers were completely random.

Zolphius...probably most confusing character that i try to understand its origin. I wonder for what reason he is here. Also Stynger Flinn looks like he just decided to take some children for his business. But Zolphius? im still trying to get why he is even here. Hes massive, creepy (kinda reminds of WhiteFace) and its looks like a...spoon?
he forgot one secret nabnab shows up after you grab the keycard banbalina droped when she met her demise. if you go back you can spot nabnab leaning on a wall like in the begining

The more i listen to the dialouge of ban ban in the final chase scene i think hes talking about the giant monster that has no eyes that resides in the abyss
but there's one problem with my theory why does the monster not attack us
With the performance Banban 2 made I actually am excited for the third game
The great thing about games like Poppy Playtime and Garden of Banban is no one on the team making the Mascots had any intention of using the kids or Kindergarten Staff as part of the Mascots nor did they scoff at the thought of wasting their time making the perfect Childminders when they could be making the next generation of SuperSoldiers.
Although, now I think about it, if all had gone well, would the majority of Staff have been laid off in favour of "Something that doesn't moan about breaks, salary or days off!"??
The childs drawings we find in the game I think show both of the main characters children as Banban uses the word children instead of child when he says he knows why the main character is there
After banbeleena is crushed by jumbo Josh you can walk back to the corner and see that nabnab is actually followed you the entire time

Okay this could go two ways
1. Banban is actually evil and is just deceiving us to gain our trust
2. Banban really is trying to help which would be surprising knowing horror games
Ah yes they get access to a very expensive technology that can bring life to clay creatures and they use it for a kindergarten before they even know it was safe.
