The kind of disgusting fact is that people only started liking her food when it was made of other animals, meaning even if they won’t admit it, they like the taste of each other’s flesh
🤢
Well I think due to the misspelling of meat as 'meet' shows that eating meat is not a concept there as there wouldn't have been a reason to hide it if they didn't live in a vegetarian society. Anyways I don't find the fact they like the taste of each others meat disgusting but rather the fact that they're eating eachother. I don't really blame the animals for liking the taste. It's not really their fault nor does it put them at fault.
I thought that same thing. They only started liking her food after she began using flesh in it. That's in many sorts of things like this, and it makes me think that subconsciously people enjoy the taste of actual flesh as opposed to simple foods.
Because they're animals...and nature intended them to eat even other animals
Another thing that I found weird was the injured bunny. How did she get those injuries? And why didn't Bonnie call the hospital instead of taking matters in her own hands? (I know Bonnie is murderous and all, but the fall into madness and subsequent murder happens after week 4)
"The bakery is closed because it is."
-Bonnie's Bakery, 2022
Don’t trust it
Bonnies Bakery
2022 - 2022
“Because it is”
The fact that her bakery didn’t get much profits and that not much people came at first probably drove her insane.
@F1C_The_Lord_of_Stories That’s true.
@F1C_The_Lord_of_Stories If the bakery would have been more successful then she wouldn’t have killed people for their meat in the first place.
Agreed
@@rangerfalcon9077 and the injured bunny/bunnies should've gone to a hospital instead of a bakery unless something happen that forced it to go into the bakery
she’s a bingus
Here’s something no one noticed, Bonnie’s red ribbon on her head looks like bunny ears, and how there’s some carrot designs on her clothes, and her name sounds similar to bunny, which is fitting considering that bunny rabbits may look cute but there pretty messed up.
It also provides some pretty bitter irony since the first animal Bonnie used as an ingredient was an injured rabbit that died in her care.
Agreed it’s messed up indeed
I noticed
@@grandomrye3873 Headcannon: Bonnie wears the ears of her first victim as a sort of trophy. Maybe she deems it an honour since the bunny technically "saved" her career.
What is the "white" ingredient
I know that the "red" ingredient is blood or "human meat" but what is the "white" one I can not think what it is
I actually have this theory (more of a hc) that all the people in the town are actually humans like her, but since the game is through her perspective we see them as animals because that's all they are to her; free game she'll eventually turn into food. I know the perspectives shift to the captive in the basement which is what keeps this from being a genuine theory, but Ig this could also be explained by saying that being down there under Bonnie's influence for so long has started to drive the captive insane, influencing them to start seeing the people as animals as well since that's all they see them being used as.
Actually at the end the little "shadow" or the player after they escape looks like a human so your theory could actually be right and I will now be going off of that ^•^
Yea I don't think so cus before she became the monster she's now, she took care of a rabbit that came injured and made "meet" cake of the bunny without knowing what to do, meaning she referred to the rabbit as a rabbit before becoming the monster she is now
Sorry to burst your bubble, kid. But there's no hidden meaning between the townsfolk animals. As far as we know, Bonnie and Yourself are the only humans in town. The Journals prove this.
@@X-SPONGED well that's why I say it's more of a headcanon because I'm aware there are *many* plotholes lol. I just think it's a neat idea
@@masqueradeofficial5416 true. I don't at all think that my headcanon is what the story is actually going for, more like a fun idea :). Referring to it as a theory was poor wording on my part
Bonnie's bakery seems like a good horror game, although it's not a very long game it still has a lot story in the short game and it's really cool and thrilling. Keep up the good work Mike

Like fnaf 6, cant believe that game was made almost 6 years ago!
Re
re... *freshing* ?
I find it hilarious that THE ONLY WAY for Bonnie to face justice and be imprisoned for her crimes is to basically give every single one of her customers food poisoning. [8:06]
She either gets away, (with it), or just dies...
There is a another ending that you kill bonnie
In summary:
1 half you play as a baker who runs a bakery and serves customers delicious pastries, which are actually made of innocent lives that have been taken by Bonnie herself, yet no one knows
2 half you play as an unfortunate person who was kidnapped by Bonnie and will soon to be another part of the ingredients, yet you still have a chance to escape. Depending on how well or bad you did in the first part will defir the ending (minus ending 1 since you just die).
Side note: should have excluded ending 5 since you know, it's a joke ending
Serial killers are usually able to blend into society without being noticed for awhile. It usually isn't until they start slipping up that they end up getting caught.
Really hoping to see more from this developer - it played well, had a cohesive story, and was overall super fun!
I heard they're gonna make a dlc or smth!!

@@shootingstar8712 woah!! Can't wait for it :D
The only thing that keeps me wondering is the motive behind the murder of the bunny. Yes, Bonnie did use the meat in her cooking and baking but the mystery note "I didn't know what to do" suggests multiple things from the ambiguity. We know for a FACT that Bonnie uses the meat of townsfolk in her food, we don't know why she killed the bunny who she tried to utmost best to care for. One could be out of mercy, another for lack of meat ingredients due to bad business, etc etc. Though I'm wishing the reason could be something much more interesting.
Edit: Thanks for the comments, yes that could be one of the reasons, though I really wonder why Bonnie couldn't have gone to the police and explained to them that the Bunny died of natural cause if she ended up with her corpse, after all, autopsies can prove her innocence. Also, why didn't she immediately call a hospital when she found the Bunny?
I don't know if Bonnie actually killed the bunny. We know that Bonnie eventually does use the bunny as meat in her cooking, but I was always under the assumption that the bunny died from their injuries. That made the most sense to me, since she was worrying that the bunny was getting worse.
Plus the, "I didn't know what to do." Makes me think that something outside of her own control happened, and she was trying to cover it up.
That's just my two-cents.
I assumed the "I didn't know what to do" meant the bunny died from it's injuries, Bonnie panicked because now she had a corpse in her hands, and ended up baking the rabbit in order to dispose of the body.
@@phloxhaven1005 Yes, that's exactly what I was thinking!
With the stress of constantly working to try to make dishes people would like, only for visitors to come by less and less, the rejection, the threat of having to give up on her dream and close shop due to low profits, combined with the helpless feeling and eventual frustration at Bunny not recovering despite her best efforts? It’s no surprise Bonnie would have snapped and taken it out on the wounded Bunny, accidentally killing her.
It’s more likely the Bun died of its injuries on its own, though.
"I didn't know what to do." There's various theories but I have my own. Something happened to the bunny. Something that was out of Bonnie's control. Maybe the injured bunny tried to do something, maybe something happened to the bunny, causing Bonnie to freak out, alongside the stress of running a dying bakery. She snapped and used the bunny as an ingredient in her cooking to solve both her problems. I wish I knew what she meant by "I didn't know what to do." With blood stained on the page. What happened on that dark day?
I still feel how the main character is actually pure hearted to help the only surviving animal
Guess what, the main character is a killer too look at the new game
This is the first time I've seen this very soft, round, pastel design used for a horror game. (I'm sure there are others, but it's the first one I'VE seen). And I really dig that dissonance.
Play Hungry Lamu.
Parsnip is another one. I hope Superhorrorbro goes over it someday. :03
If you're wondering what "bingus" is, it's a hairless cat
Well that just raises more questions.
This game reminds me of the story of Leonarda Cianciulli, who was an Italian serial killer and cannibal who killed several people and used various parts of their bodies to bake “crunchy cakes” as well as soap made from human fat.
@Crystal Tea cake12 As far as I know, they weren’t aware of anything like that

This is rare
Playing this game almost 24 hours ago and here you are literally making a story and endings explained. Keep up the good work!
Thank goodness; you finally got to explain the story and endings, including the secret ending. That basement sure did look traumatizing!
My personal headcanon is that you aren't playing as another human, but as a Shadow Creature of some sort, which would make it all the more terrifying that a human girl can capture and kill unfathomable beings of the dark.
And it would make the animals not believing you in certain endings hold more merit. After all, who looks more trustworthy? A dark shadow monster that crawled out a dark basement, or an innocent-looking girl that sells delicious treats?
But she's not innocent
@@thomasgamevids7269 They aren’t saying she’s innocent, she just looks innocent. And looks can be deceiving.
@@thomasgamevids7269 who said she was innocent
I am going with the dark humanoid bcuz it's nice atleast
Wtf then how did she stab you then there's blood on the screen and in the first ending she say she have pepare fresh meat then it show.a picture with a human like head and title
I don't know how many would or wouldn't agree with me, but I do enjoy horror games that have (even if it's a secret ending) a canon ending that provides concrete closure in a good way. Some games have ambiguous endings, and admittedly can pull them off well, but just seeing closure in game endings, especially horror, is always good to me. ^^
Mhm I totally agree. Some sort of wholesome or fulfilling closure is really one of the best parts of these games imo.
I think all of the ingredients are from the people except the shugar and flour and eggs and milk. But the meat, fat, white, and red. I believe the red is blood and the white is bone
2:43 Well I'm not sure if they are human because they certainly look shadowy in appearance.
Edit: I know this sounds weird but I'm sort of hoping this game gets a sequel and I feel like there are more questions that need to be asked, like why did Bonnie want to open a bakery who or what is the protagonist and what was Bonnie's childhood like, questions of that matter.
But wait how does bonnie or the protagonist understand the animals then. Geuss that makes sense
Edit was some atuo correct bonnie turned into Nainne
@@thomasgamevids7269 For that question I really don't know what I mean they might be just be living in some sort of Disney fairytale Maybe.

"She herself has been laid to rest" totally an innocent sentence 😳

Mike, I just want to let you know that your voice is calming and one of the best imo. Most other horror summary channels for movies and games usually use a deep solemn and creepy voice just to add on to the effect, but I hate that. I love your content and I watch your videos everyday.
I really like this game, Though I wish the dev polished the cutesy cooking side more so the horror part will slap more. Hoping to see more like this
This actually reminds me of a movie where a man opens a barber shop near a bankrupt meat pie restaurant/store, where he slits people's throat when shaving their beard.
Their bodies were dropped into a meat grinder in a basement, then those meat were used to make meat pies. Then the store opens like "heaven".

This is sad for both Bonnie and the Towns People, Bonnie just wanted to make a business of making and selling her baked goods while the Towns People are eating the flesh of people they've may or may not have known
It's insane that this game was a 48 hour creation challenge!
I never thought I'd hear someone say "baked treats" in a serious manner, but here we are
I love how this game went from a Cooking Mama-like game to unexpected cannibalism
With Bonnie being a human and the other characters being animals, this is like a horror version of Animal Crossing.
Can't wait to hear the story, and the six endings of Bonnie's bakery:D
@Kiera Gonzales it's cause there is a secret ending in the game
I always thought for the meet bun, the chopped meat looks like some type of jam, so I think they think that it's jam and not will meat
This game is simular to Hungry Lamu. It starts off with a cartoony game, and then it turns into reality, and we see the truth behind what's actually happened.
What I'm still wondering is, what hurt the bunny? Their injuries were fatal enough that they got progressively worse no matter what bonnie did, assuming she was genuinely trying to save the bunny. There might be something else happening the game isn't telling us, though then again, maybe the bunny fell down some stairs, got into a car accident, or something else not that deep. Why go to the bakery and not call for a doctor?
Love your channel! Bonnie’s bakery is definitely a horror to be unfolded underneath all the bright colors and faces
Hey mike you are realy making my life better. I am going trough some hard stuff now and your vids are my way out, thank you
Not surprised that you'd do a story explained video on Bonnie's bakery. Not that I'm complaining! I'm actually into this game
Imagine we get another game mode after unlocking the ending where Bonnie escaped now year later an FBI-type agency found the location of bonnie and now being raided by the SWAT team with a twist, the team sent was never heard from for hours, so you playing as the Agent, you are Ordered to kill or capture Bonnie.
Ending 1: You killed Bonnie, you found the missing Swat member, only one survived with heavy injury
Ending 2: Bonnie surrendered to the Agent and was given a life sentence
Bad Ending: Bonnie escaped, The remaining Swat members decide to enter the safehouse full force and found the Body of the agent, deceased, and the first SWAT team sent inside are all KIA, no survivor
This feels like a better version of some peta flash game
Yeah it really does XD
When people would rather eat corpses then your cooking
The implication seems to be that the “red” is blood. The “white” could be powdered bones, I guess. Though I don’t think that would taste good on a donut.
Bonnie is the living amalgamation of the statement "Its nothing personal. Its just good business"
For some reason I love being tricked by games like this. Doki Doki literature club is another one that reminds me of this. Successfully tricking the player into thinking it's about one thing, and shocking them by revealing a completely different and unexpected storylline.
yes I was hoping you would do a story video on this game! Bonnie's Bakery is probably my favorite of the indie horror games I've seen this year.
I am so invested in your CZcams channel it’s informative and fun! :)
Something I thought was funny that no one probably cares about is in art class I made a fnaf themed food truck called Bonnie’s bakery. With bunny ears on the top of it.
I love your videos! You explain the topics so well!
This is just a perfect horror game... a combination of horror, suttle details, a cute cover-up that hides what the game really is about, and lore.... all while trying to play a cooking mama style game
Something I notice about Bonnie and the main character is that there like opposites.
If I had a nickel for every cute and innocent seeming female baker who was secretly killing and using her fellow towns people in her pastries and feeding it to everyone else, I'd have two nickles. Which isn't a lot but weird it happened twice. And for those who don't know, I mean the old My Little Pony creepypasta of Pinkamena

this kind of reminds me of Hungry Lamu, the part where its all cute and innocent, and then the other part where you are a victim or something like that, which I find kinda cool and interesting
I feel that anything he explains is only going to be a horror game
Could've sworn you already did this exact video a week ago. I even made a comment about the moral implications of the villagers denying the facts in many endings.
I saw that it looked like that the animals couldn't tell what was happening from lines like
"My balance, I can't find my balance"
And
"I hope Bonnie had a good day"
I like the fact that the main villain of the game is just a human, mortal human, not a demon nor a possessed husk, just an insane, manipulative and master lying maniac.
How many times have you heard of some maniac chefs secretly using human meat or other animals or other ingredients that are not meant (or dangerous) to be eaten by humans? Those things are pretty much real and possible, good and healthy ingredients are not always cheap or available to small bakeries and starting businesses.
And I like that idea, idea of something that can happen in real life, unlike most of the horror games and creepypastas.
I never played this game before but after watching your playthrough and this explanation video I love this game now
Same here

See i didnt see her cooking the bunny as her trying to not waste good meat and more of like this;
Bonnie was trying to run a respectable business but due to a lack of interest in her bakery she was about to shut down when a bunny came in with bad injuries, she did her best to nurse him but after trying all she could think of to help she put the bunny out of their misery, in a state of panic she cooked the bunny as to ploy to hide the evidence. When people started to like her cooking she was blinded by success and her dream coming true that she gave up her humanity for her own success.
…. But im probably looking too into it from a janky psychological perspective lol ʕ º ᴥ ºʔ
