Plarium will screw this up because their focus will be "how do we make money off this" instead of "how do we make it fun and engaging".
You are a player, they are running a business, you dont go to college and get a job to get free stuff for others. They all have family that need to sustain. Get used to it.
What is really needed is a way to make spending cheaper if you decide to and more people will do it representing more money to them and a less frustrating system formthose who want to buy a slight advantage from time to time. Like forge pass or so wich is already overpriced compared to better games that run battle passes from 5-10$

It's going to be a f*cking nightmare for clan leaders.
Clan Wars is going to basically be a shit show for the first month, till Raid realizes how bad their matchmaking is going to be and then try to fix it, then it'll just be a bot fest like arena and people will just end up being content with it.
I play from the time that quests reset until I go to bed, run Doom Tower battles on auto before I go to bed, run a few more battles while I'm getting ready for work in the morning, while I'm commuting to work, while I'm working, on my way home from work, and after work before the quests reset. I still can't get everything done.
I got a full time job on top of a side hustle so my time is very limited. I have to spend money in this game to speed my progress up because I simply don’t have enough time to give as f2p player to grind everything out. It’s getting to the point now where I can’t even keep up with my CVC anymore because of how tired I am in real life and the money I do spend to speed up the progress in game, feels useless. I can’t keep up man it’s getting ridiculous
Amen! I took a week off and my life felt more rich. They have skated by on the devotion of the community. If not for that this game was over years ago.
It’s not worth your money, I got a new job where I’ve been working much more than I previously did and I refuse to spend money just to make up for the lack of time. Just farm up shards from CB over time, join a clan with a minimal CvC requirement, and grind the game casually. I just let my energy stock up for weeks at a time now as well. I’m endgame already though, UNM CB, several billion damage in hydra clash, can beat Amius if I feel like it on hard, so not much need for me to spend.

I actually think there is already too much of a time issue in the game. Clan Wars is gonna be tough to make work for people who are already struggling to be active enough to play the game to its fullest. I do think this game is gonna have a much further lifecycle than what we have but they are power creeping so much it is gonna make it very hard to release new content and champions worth going for

If they added quick battle to Hydra and still allowed us to "Free Regroup" after each one, that would really help. They could probably also EASILY implement background fights like many other games have. Allow us to have a dungeon running in the background while we work on new stuff like Cintranos or this new Clan thing. No reason to be stuck back in 2018 playing a mobile game for 20 hours a day.

100% on point. Clan Wars looks really cool and I am looking forward to it. BUT in order to do that, first I need time in the game freed up for it, because - as you said - this is clearly time intensive to manage, organise an play. For everybody. Which is another huge problem, because it most likely cannot be played only by the people you want to. Everyone will be preassured. I am really afraid clans will have a lot of stress and arguments about it. There is no doubt, many clans will fall apart and many people will stop plaing altogether over it.
I agree with most of this. Yes, this is probably going to take way more time that I have, which means I won't want to do it (just like all the other Arena/PVP stuff). Good rewards but so heavily weighted to the end that getting there is too painful to be fun for me. I would add one other item, why does the max energy stop at 130? We should get a lot more at max level than that.

Well, when I saw HH's vid about it, I was excited by the in-depth complexity, but at the same time I was like "Ain't nobody got time for this!!"
That may be the straw that sees me out of the game.
I quit another game I had played for 5 years for the exact same reason: I did not have the time to do everything, and I did not even have the time to do the dailies anymore.
And I must say, I am happy that I refused the role of clan leader for lack of time, this is going to be a nightmare!!!
Exactly what you mentioned: What they need to do is auto battle dungeons etc like they did with cb. “Oh you beat hard level 10? Great, enjoy 2 second auto runs” where it auto calculates the turns as well to dodge turn attack issues

Love that I can do all my dailies in Watcher of realms and summoners war and be completely done with both in about an hour. What boggles my mind is that people take cvc and hydra dump so seriously, when its a half baked games mode, both.

Plarium for sure needs to implement changes to Raid so it doesn't take so much time to play. And that's even without a new game mode.

I hear and feel the time gate problem, question then become is this a mobile game anymore? Then the question becomes have we become more than and do we need to rebrand? Or come up with solutions, and why? To awnser some of these we need to question are peoples finances, phone battery life, life/wives important, becomes the question, by the way i dont have any of these. I have raid.

I’m you don’t play wor anymore but they’re vamped background fights so much. You can now do anything with another thing in the background. Raid needs this
Plarium is just very addicted to cash. That may sound like a stupid thing to say, but when you consider how long it's been since they went a month without adding stuff to this game that isn't really needed, you have to ask the question, "Why won't they just let the game breathe for a while?"
Ever since I've been playing they haven't gone a month without adding new champions. There are great things about that, the game needs new champions, I'm just not certain it needs them at the pace that Plarium adds them.
The monthly fusions are exhausting. It's difficult to build up enough resources to do them, because as soon as one ends, the next is around the corner, and that's how they make their money, but I think it pushes more players out than it brings in.
The more stuff of they add to this game at a break-neck pace, the less accessible advancement is for new players.
The more complicated they make advancing in this game, the harder it is for new players to compete.
Eventually, the new blood will start rejecting this game sooner rather than later, and the eventual monetary decline from that will be catastrophic.
The whales and crackens only spend on this game so long as a lot of people are playing it. Regardless of how much they like the game, when the player base falls enough, whales will start looking for a new game to spend on. They won't spend 1000s of dollars a month when no one cares that they have all the best and the newest champions.
Instant results for 3 star'd items would be great. Hydra is so bad. I let raid run automatically on 1 key, If I max chest I keep, if I fail, I regroup AND DO NOT EVEN PLAY IT AGAIN THAT WEEK. So if you can one 1 a hydra chest, you gotta give us that automatically. Auto results on Faction Wars. And for the love of god, fix 3v3 so that it calculates bands realtime versus weekly.
They could even make it a "mini-game" for us to "earn" these QoL, because the a) neither want to give us something good for free or b) implement a QoL in such a sh*** way that they could've left it as before.
Missions could be: Either finish 100x w/o losing a champ and you can insta complete from there on (FW). Or give us points we then can invest in our own QoL Bonus Area.

this mode is Plarium's new cash cow, and knowing there history, they will implement it horribly, and it will suck just like live arena.
My opinion is that eyes on the game is the most profitable part of Plariums overall monetization.
Time time time is what they truly abuse in players. I can't one key after 4 years because I have never pulled a Man-eater. Quick battles are a must. I've said it before this game will drag on but it will eventually just die in a day of it doesn't stop the Plarium way of doing business..
To be fair if you are playing 4 years you could have done the Helicath, Emic or Wixwell fusion to 1 key unm
To be fair....fusions have and always are trash time wasters. Raid overloads the players with nonsense so "playing" the game is tough beyond it feeling like a job. I spent back in the day but refuse to because they are such a terrible company. Many times fusions hit at rough times and the bar to get them increased in annoyance. So while I assume you are thinking about fairness, I didn't get those. You should be able to quick battle regardless of what you score. I don't want to spend time with all these tunes. I play for my cvc friends but beyond they Raid is a game that exploits players for money. So please don't use "fair" and Raid in a sentence. JGigs is a realist, like BGE, Stew, and Darth and I'm with that crew, not the positivists who keep "looking on the bright side." :)
Love raid, but more and more I'm getting this nagging thought in the back of my mind that every hour we get to be alive is a precious gift and to waste so many on a game like this is the gravest sort of mistake.
Have y'all ever taken a second to imagine what it would feel like to achieve everything you want in the game? You're the king of arena with all the OP champs, fully awakened, all decked out in top tier mythical ascended gear sets with the luckiest stat rolls, etc. We get addicted to the feeling of making progress towards that goal, but I imagine if I personally ever achieved all that I would be left feeling empty and wondering WTF I was thinking wasting years of my life on that useless trash. What for? To flex on people you don't know and never will? Idk guys it all just feels so asinine. Most of us are men in the prime of our lives and should be doing anything but this bs. We should be building careers, finding wives and starting families, or paying more attention to the ones we have.

that word TIME alone mad me leave raid i was a casual f2p player i personaly dont got time for fusions where u cant skip a single day not to mention be online all day trust me u get those ppl but for me raid was a easy skip after time and i had a decent accnt cant have a another job like raid that pays me nothing to be online all day lol the grind in this game is too much for me what i noticed raid love to gatkeep alot of stuff in raid weather its QOL features or rewards its kinda crazy

Clan wars will be just like hydra,cvc,arena ,3v3 , Live arena ,a mess . The people that will take this serious dont have a time issue , they farm every dungeon in less than 30 seconds . Just because theres a quest list doesnt mean you have to do them .
You reach a point were you have to worry about maintaining players instead of getting new players.

This is kind of funny to see. I came to raid because I received a sponsorship on my stream. This was several years ago. I left after less than a month and the main reason other than the buy this pop ups after EVERY click was the amount of time required just to manage daily activities. With all of what I see on HH's videos it is 1000 times worse than when I left. Anyone still playing this game is just crazy and I love games but plarium flat out wants you to play the game 24-7. Plarium your audience has to have at least 8 hours to have a job to buy all of your pop up stuff. And I guess sleep is for the weak.

I'm not excited about this in the slightest. It won't be original, it won't be fun, it will be your straight up run-of-the-mill shit. WOR did something different, but it's too frequent and certain champs are extremely powerful. If this isn't an arena thing, I don't see how this could end up being good.
It's GUARANTEED gonna be PTW. Certain champs are gonna dominate. Period.

I quit playing the game after nearly 3 years in May, due to the QOL or lack there of. I've not missed it at all. So much more to life than RSL
im f2p, run my own clan, and will have to manage the expectations of everyone when it launches. Personally i could care less about this content.. people can do it or not and maybe over time we will get some extra resources. Who cares, not every bit of content has to appeal to every player.
Fomo isn't Raids problem, that is on the individuals greed level, that is the problem.
Clans have lost a lot of players over the years to Raid demanding too much of their time. How many members are clans going to lose to the time demands of this new mode? Clans have a difficult time getting players to hit hydra or to reach a set minimum for CVC. How are clans going to force their members to participate in this content? Most players dislike PVP and avoid doing it. If this is clan PVP, how are clans going to get our members to participate?
They gave us somewhat recently instant-battles with CB, saving us easily 30-120 minutes per day. They've given us multi-battles in dungeons literally halving the time spent in select dungeons and DT and FW. How much time did you, or all of us, spend leveling gear? Success, Success, Success, Success, Fail x 5, Success, Fail x 8, Success, Fail x 3, Success, Fail x 12, Success, Fail x 13, Success, Fail x 9, Success, Fail x 22, Success, Fail x 31, Success, Fail x 19, Success, Fail x 27, Success, Fail x 33, Success, Fail x 17, Success, with every animation they'd force us to watch with each fail and success. You know I'm right. One piece of gear from level 1 to 16 could take 5 minutes. They are bit by bit giving some QOL saving us time, so yes it is another thing to do, if we're saving time elsewhere I don't mind reallocating it. But that's me.

3v3 is solid for this? Are you kidding me? 3v3 is the worst content in this game once you hit a certain rank. It suck all the champs used are the same. Unless you have stone skin on you teams or fast leader u pretty much lose.
