Actually 4 PVP modes that are the same. Arena, Tag Arena, Live Arena (still battle 4v4), and now Siege.

Platinum logic - but here’s the twist, arena Auras will not work in this siege mode, so it’ll massively change who you use. You now can only use “all battle” auras… 😂😂😂
At the absolute very least, they could have made the battles 5v5 so that the new unity champs could be utilized a little more.

Marvel strike force has three PvP modes that are all exactly the same arena, alliance wars, and cosmic crucible
And RTA, and from what I understand blitz uses other people's teams just scaled up/down, but that could be wrong.
To be fair though MSF seasonal buffs pretty strongly affect the meta in war and CC, albeit just to make whatever the newest team is borderline broken.

Im so tired of Plariums lack of creativity and just continue to milk everyone.
Also, I am tired of all the people with 1 brain cell who would praise Plarium for literally doing nothing (just do same thing you always do but call it something else) and continue to spend money on a "game" that clearly doesn't deserve it.
It was to be expected, that fact you still give Plarium the benefit of the doubt is crazy lol. watch other CC defend this mode.

Yeah, it is a Sintranos format (city to fight through that can have conditions set), with arena battles...AND to make it more annoying, requiring clans to communicate effectively and a lot in order to arrange/set defenses and to organize attacks (who goes first and where)....and the attacking phase is going to be a sh!tshow because we only have 2 days and you probably want your weaker clan members going first so that the the stronger accounts to try to take down the stronghold.
The pointers were there with Cursed City. Their only idea is to put the same gameplay in different settings and add champion restrictions and call it new content. That's it.
I'm kind of thankful it's just another unimaginative game mode, just means I can do the bare minimum and not care about the result. The game is already so busy, I don't have enough attention span and time in my day to do all these new game modes that are simply just time sinks with bare minimum rewards
Marvel Strike Force did the same thing. Your defenses were placed in the helicarrier and the rooms carried perks and points. Difference being defense teams could not be used on offense
Yep. It’s just our Arena teams being put into defenses. The same teams we face in Arena and 3v3.
I was really hoping it would have been 3 person teams just to mix the comps up a little.
I just quit the game and couldn't be happier not to be a slave to Raid every day.
So I'm sure this will be less then popular.... But they did add a system where you restrict different things like only barbarian faction or hp burn does more dmg.
That being said I'm not disappointed because I never expected anything good at all, and it's not.
The rewards are a joke.
Best thing is it won't be another massive time sink daily which is what I really expected along with the rewards being trash but since it's clan related the pressure would still be there to perform.
Yeah that's the worst part (clan pressure), you can't even stay in a guild if you take a break (i.e. go on holidays) without getting kicked/leaving your clan. All because they specifically designed it so EVERYONE gets worse rewards if SOMEONE doesn't "contribute" to clan boss (read: hit auto a couple of times a day). Which is even worse for new/casual players and f2p because they obviously won't have 1 key auto teams.

😅yeah I just used my main arena team in one and a banner lord team with acelin just to spice it up.
i used to be a pay to emjoy(notice i didnt say pay to win there) but at this point im about ready to sell my acct and go spend my time elsewhere. i could literally sh*t my pants and not have it be a let down to this level of garbage.
im happy at watcher of realms i feel sorry for casual f2p players on this game glad i moved on
Ohhhh yeah, I still play raid but WOR is so much better to thier players. Really not sure why gigs left it, I'm thinking it was a falling out with the developer but I really don't know.
Could be content isn't easy to make for that game? With raid you have a constant flow of drama which makes for good views.

I play both games, I still enjoy them both. However, I will say my drive to play WOR as much as I used to is decreasing because their devs keep screwing things up. Just recently, they tried to take the ancient crystals out of the Brave Conquest events and put them into their summoning events.
They nerfed poisons across the board BEFORE releasing a new epic poisoner. They fucked up their 1 year anniversary by making it way too difficult. Grinding gear is still the absolute worst RnG you will ever see. For a time, ancient pieces were bugged so the sub stats were just as bad as the normal ones even though ancients are supposed to guarantee synergistic sub stats.
Moonton has been piling on the mistakes recently, it's getting really demotivating to sit on that game longer than it takes to claim idle rewards.
Hero Wars has this system where you place teams in towers and the other clan attacks it.
WOR also has this system with guild wars. Except you use the game's PvE monster units to do the attacking.
Live Arena it's a cool concept to be honest.
They should be working on that.
Make it more fun and enjoyable.

Was a bit funny to go through your backlog and find that gem, the timing was too impeccable. I was thinking, "waited a minute, this was THREE YEARS AGO!? They said they were looking at a PvP clanvclan THREE YEARS AGO and Siege is the best they came up with?"
I guess it takes 3 years to develop a map with a couple currencies incorporated with it. It's like yeah, the higher strongholds will be technically different, but the majority of players aren't gonna be strong enough to hit them, so the majority will be just be playing standard arena. Even with the stipulation aspect, the stronger clan members aren't doing anything different. They'll be playing doom tower/cursed city arena.

I actually like the setup, it's only a small investment of time and you only gotta worry once per 2 weeks about this. The rewards however are so terrible that you'd feel better if they just straight up removed some. Like the quartz... If they gave you none at all instead of a lousy 3-25 per victory you'd feel less like they were trash, and no clan xp whatsoever beats 50 at tier 6 because it doesn't make you think about how fucking horrible that is

It may be just 4 x 4 again.... but they have tossed in some Sintranos mechanics as you can spend resources to put restrictions on what factions/types of champs you can bring to the battle.
You can set up a DEF champ only room. Or a Tellarian Union only room, etc. It's definitely going to be a change up from regular Arena. I just hate the overly convoluted rule system they devised, and the 2 week long repair and restock period you have to go through to set up for the next battle.
those restrictions aren't new. Those restrictions have been a thing in doom tower for years and are also present in cursed city.
@WutTheDeuceGaming he doesn't say it's new. He saying that for an arena mode they changed something, which is true. I still think it's lacking any creativity and innovation but technically it's a different arena mode. Just because it's the same amount of champs against eachother doesn't make it the same.
It totally is just arena. You just can't use arena speed auras and you have to build siege defense teams in arena presets and then go back to siege and load them in. This is the silliest mode ever...and the rewards system sucks so bad.
I think they have to choose between their stupid siege, or their entire game. That's my take on it, time will tell. 2 weeks of prep for 3 days of almost one-chance 3 fights, and all that extra complication with 0 fun for some stupid slightly better perception artifacts, which will take months to even sum a single good set... Would be the nail in the coffin for most people. People that hate this game mode and won't participate, but then their clan may kick them for this, then taking into account that most clan leaders will do the same, and wanting to play without being part of one, but missing on Clan Boss, CvC, Shop and other stuff, will make them eventually quit the game altogether. For me, it's try your best, or go home. I got my 3 wins with one rebattle, but our clan got crushed. Assigning members by the clan leader is key, but thinking about the amount of time with talk and back & forth needed to set up a good defense, on top of the game already being a full time job, it's just purely impossible. Not to mention that this mode is a total mess. It's like they are in free fall, and came up with some poorly thought mess they abandoned years ago in some drawer, just to have something new to attract a few new faces or maybe some bored old spenders. It's a total pile of rushed soft crap

This was probably cooked up in the past couple months..no way a game studio with their resources and manpower is taking 3 years to make
1. A basic map with defense points
2. A system for the modifiers and the currencies used in the Seige
3. Using Arena teams for the defenses and offenses.
You literally can take your saved 4 man teams from Arena and use them here.. it's laughable
But what about the Cake, we didn't get no Cake for 15 yr anniversary... and here's a novel idea... you put one character into the team, and the other 3 come from 3 other clan members...

Want to know what a real piece of tra- work Siege is? My clan has been together for nearly four years. We've lost very few members and gained next to nothing. We murk UNM daily, we tackle Hydra at each of our own respective pace and we're not arsed about going mental in CvC and Hydra Clash because we've always been a clan that wants to enjoy the game at our own pace.
Until now.
Now all of a sudden, the same boys and girls I've been in a clan with wants everyone to participate in Siege seriously and absolutely must be on Discord everyday and if any of us do not like it, we should fuck off.
I don't know how or why my clan changed gears like that after years of having fun at our own pace and not having to spend like it's the end of the world and it's given me yet another reason to despise Siege because I'm pretty sure if I leave my clan now, any clan willing to accept me will want me to take Siege or Hydra clash or CvC or all of it seriously OR the clan will be a newbie clan that can't consistently murk CB.

it's because of that champion you get by winning. I have two accounts with two different clans, both chill af, and the leaders haven't changed their tone for this.
@@WutTheDeuceGaming some of my clan mates already have monstrous accounts (Taras, Marichka, etc) so I don't see why they'd go mental over a champion that (based on what we know so far) is not all godlike like Plarium wants us to think.
Anyway, I will give Siege a chance for their sake and if it is shite, hopefully they will give up on trying to push for it
