Best cane self defense technique: use it for extra support as you reach into your purse for a pew-pew. The 2nd Amendment is still the most effective criminal deterrent.

@@cthulhu8164 It's better than using fake ineffective techniques that get you into more danger than actually taking measures to not having to be in situations where you have to defend yourself at all.
@@gamrage riiight, it's better to move to a country with more crime just so you can own a gun for self defense against gun crime, because that's a more effective way to avoid being in situations where you need to defend yourself than living in a safer country. Check out Cane masters self defense canes (made specifically for self defense) on CZcams. Get a good oak or hickory cane.
I use a cane but I'm not sure if I'll be able to do that. 😅

That cane you bought from cvs is made out of aluminum, and won't be much of a deterrent to a motivated attacker.
Using the correct techniques it can be quite lethal.
I'm gonna say this because I have lots of experience as an actual martial artist. Good technique means nothing if you can't use it in a panicked state against a resisting opponent. Wide swings leave you open and the moment the first hit lands, they'll grab it and try to yank it away from you. Game Over..

Always start with the Jab to the throat.. all else is baton twirling
Jab to throat always gets blocked unless you can take there vision lol

A villain can easily grab your cane and put you down.
Using a collapsable aluminum cane for self defense? Id rather have a big rock.
How about providing an obtainable defence using a cane for and preferably by a person who actually NEEDS to use one.
Lets try to provide a baseline of two or three moves that a person with mobility issues can (with practice) achieve.
I also think that its adorable how some girls don't know how cute they are....
