R.I.P. Roger Ebert 1942-2013, first, we lost Gene Siskel in '99, now we lost Roger Ebert. Ladies and gentlemen, Siskel andd Ebert, Two Thumbs Up,and his TV show is history. It will be missed. : (

At the Movies was defunct 10 years ago. I miss Ebert&Roeper episodes from September 2005-June 2006.

I met Michael at Ohare airport 3 years ago. He was at the gate next to my gate. Very nice guy.

He is pretty good, I'll admit that.

I was expecting to hear "The balcony is closed" at the end.

Richard and Michael had good chemistry. Disney should never have changed it.

One thing about the Cop and a Half thing on Broken Arrow: At least Roger had taken it out of his Video Companion that year.

@MichaelBrookham The reason Roepers not in Ebert's reboot is because he's off doing his own thing. You can see him on youtube, just type Richard Roeper and the movies.

Sort of sad that this came to an end. Well, Disney fucked up by letting Roger and Richard go and bringing in the Bens and getting rid of the balcony set so they only have themselves to blame for two bomb seasons.

A special thanks to Gene, Roger, Richard, the two Bens (sorry to those if that offends you), A.O., and Michael for helping us see the best movies, skip the worst movies, and rent the mixed opinion movies.

Get rid of one of the Bens (Lyons). He sucked shit.

@MichaelBrookham, The reason why is because he wants to put critics of the future to have the spotlight for a while.

Actually, Michael Phillips was good and I suppose Tony Scott was too, but you didn't have the connection with Ebert and no balcony. That was why they had to cancel it after two seasons.

Who the hell are these two knobs? If it doesn't involve Siskel or Ebert, it's not At The Movies.

Every movie I've watched over the years I watched because I found it interesting when I'd see the trailer. in movie theaters. I never cared about Siskel and Ebert's opinion of movies most the time their opinion on movies was wrong. if I enjoyed a movie that is all that matters.
