2 years later…I’ll never forget where I was on March 11, 2020 and how everything just instantly changed
2 years later and it still gives me chills
ill remember this for a long time like 20 to 30 years from now everything weeks leading up to this and cancelling sports
Sitting here this morning on 2/22/23 I am so grateful we can actually turn on ESPN and actually talk about sports
1 month in and I still can't wrap my head around this. I don't think I ever will.
Truly was a stunning moment.
1 Year ago. It still gives me chills.
3 yrs ago. How life has changed
5:32 GAME OVER
Experts on ESPN saying it is at least 10 times deadlier than the flu..."experts"?!
March 13th, 2021 is like Horror Movie.
9 months later: Still am amazed that the world has changed due to coronavirus.
Agreed
@@Videogamelover58 I think March 10 is the date when Coronavirus stopped being a joke to everyone and became serious.
@@matt13r1 To me March 11th
3 years later
@@BlurryyVision I know. Looking back. I think everyone didn’t take it seriously and many people died from it.
But now everything seems back to normal with Coronavirus cases falling
It’s still crazy. They should have pushed back the ncaa tournament like they did the nba season.
I was not happy when this happened
Wrestling was the only thing that kept me going throughout the damn Pandemic
Wrestling really shouldn't had been going on!!
@@wilnerolivier7971 it's fake 😤
WWE had a chance to improve its stagnant product. Still waiting...
3:16 Day was the first time I tuned into Raw in a year. It was so weird seeing Steve Austin in the ring speaking to empty seats.
@@wilnerolivier7971 If AEW and WWE were legitimate sports organizations, not sports entertainment, they would not have been in action. The fact that they're sports entertainment is the only reason why they were allowed to press forward.
I just pray soon in 2021 this is all over and we never have to go through this again.
Me too
I got some news for ya....
That title tho 🔥🔥
At this moment, ESPN literally change into ESPN Classic
Ironically, ESPN Classic shut down as a network on New Year's Day, 2022.
I just cried for the last 18 minutes
I don’t think I’ll ever get over this at all
5:46 The Big One
so crazy
So EPIC...😎
im here having got covid finally in march 2023. vaccinated all the way but still.
It's still amazes me that this thing happened in our lifetimes. I knows it's not worth celebrating but this is still a key moment where we know that the world as we know it is about to change. And one of the best ways to escape our problems set the Dominoes falling for the next 10 years or so.
Yea
A day I will never forget
We still don’t have full stadiums a year later
We do now.
Looks like sports will stop again if cases rise again
They're aren't gonna play with fans so millions don't get sick.
We we're so stupid for doing this over tge flu
Biggest con-job in history. And we all fell for it
Fauci wanted the New World Order and he used a guise of a virus to test the public. He and anyone else who tries this now knows, they pull this shit again, Civil war part deux
Crazy that this was 1 month ago
2 years ago 3/11/2020 the night when the world was shut down and life as we know it changed
hilariously.... seatgeek is the sponsor of this video.
speaking a year and a few months later.... we seem to FINALLY be emerging from this nightmare. regardless of what happens from here on out... let's just hope that we're actually ready.
Two years ago sports had to shutdown because of Utah Jazz player Rudy Gobert had a positive test.
On March 1, many Americans were still oblivious to the coronavirus even though the news showed it was an imminent threat. March 11 is when things started getting real.
Agree
It’s gets better everyone (in terms of sports). The NBA is back July 31st!!
I had SDSU at 80-1 to win the NCAAs and 19-1 to make the final four it was like watching someone (or my money) die.
Its 2 days before thanksgiving. We need a vaccine NOW
And yet that vaccine did nothing to affect the trajectory of the virus.
F
A lot of these sports analysts has their heads buried in the sand like an ostrich that they forget that real life does exist!! What happened on March 11, 2020 was a great reminder of that.
All of this did absolutely NOTHING. Our reaction to Coronavirus was pointless.
Honestly, I never believed it was as dangerous as everyone was making it seem like, I tried for 1.5 year and a half to get Covid, especially the first strain(most dangerous one). I went around positive people, I drank out of the same cup of them as well. I lived with someone who was deathly sick and I still couldn’t catch it.
A fraud.
In New Jersey, gym showers were prohibited for 15 months unless the gym also had a pool, leading one to believe that some green stuff other than chlorine was being transmitted.
this is like 9 11 but much worse
I remember when the sports world shut down.
I agree with you videogamelover.
Thanks
