12:10 The booing isn't a reflection of the fans thinking it was about sports above public health. It's an immediate gut reaction to paying for a game and coming out to an arena for nothing. They're not fully thinking about why the game was cancelled.
I remember going to a concert in Toronto that was cancelled because the stage collapsed and a drum tech died. Many of us arrived very early and we were lined up and about to go in when they cancelled. People's immediate reaction when the concert was cancelled was frustration, but most of us hadn't heard about the drum tech killed and only vaguely heard about the stage collapsing. It wasn't until a little later when we got all the information that we fully understood.
This is a very well put-together mini-documentary telling the story of what WE didn't know (the Pelicans players in the locker room having conversations about not playing), and just how that entire evening unravelled for the team. Great job!
This would be the perfect intro to a coronavirus movie from 10 years like “ the day when the world shut down”
I remember the nba game got postponed that's night it was so surprising
Really good documentary, what a surreal
time when the world shut down 👏👏👏
He was going off about the fans booing...Um, sir...the FANS were never told WHY! YOU on the other hand with your earpiece is being fed all the details from other games around the NBA. If I'M at a game in person...I'm NOT on my phone on the news feed or checking out OTHER games. I'm invested in the game I bought tickets to so all of my attention would be on that.
For the announcer to simply say "The Game Has Been Postponed" ..... OF COURSE you are gonna get the reaction of the crowd without a fair explanation.
He going in for no reason....even in hindsight! SMH
This brings me so many chilling memories. Wish I can go back to experience this again.
Ur fucking crazy if you wanna experience this again
Lol it felt like The Purge irl
facts bro
It was a scary time not knowing what the future was going to be for anything or anybody!
They need think about in life in danger. Not extracurricular activities
Who would want to sit down and remember this
This was pretty interesting tho
It's still pretty interesting. And besides, we need to learn from all of this. If we don't learn from history, we're doomed to repeat it.
those like NBA player Karl Anthony Towns that lost his mother and 7 members of his family to Covid 19. Other people that have lost a large amount of family, friends, and loved ones.
It’s interesting seeing the BTS footage and get league perspectives of the season suspension.
I was at the thunder game after upgrading seats, It was 2 days after birthday
It was stupid they cancelled those games as the crowd was already gathered. If you're gonna cancel you're event due it ahead of time not when 50thousand people show up. That's why they Boo'd.
The dumbest action was st johns vs creation on Thursday March 12 2020 when we played the first hafe and not the second hafe part still wonders if it was because st john was going to pull the upset
The day we all got quarantined I told everyone this is going to be read in school history books. My brother had covid because he felt sick. His work sent him in to get tested and yes had it. I spend almost every day with him and I never got it but 2 days later he was fine he said he felt like it was the flue. Me personally I'll let my immune system try to do its thing.. rip to everyone that couldn't
I remember watching a guy in wuhan on CZcams. And seen this coming. I went to a state championship game on march 5th and thinking we won't have crowds like this soon.
a lot of people are still saying "cant wait to get the F out of california" LMAO
Being a Californian...i've been ready to get out for. along time. But what you don't hear and see if how many people are actually moving into California. So it balances out. Crappy traffic either way.
In the Philippines not only the NBA was postponed but the PBA also postponed their basketball season due to the Covid 19 restrictions and lockdowns. But the PBA has its Anniversary on March 8, 2020, one week before they announced the lockdown. It's so sad right after Kobe died the world has been shocked like wildfire because of COVID-19. We have been turning into the shadow of gray like this one at 15:33. The Fog warns us that the streets are empty due to this virus
Im still waiting for my refund
You literally got the date wrong in your cover photo for this video
Fans Booing YOU SPITTEN
Who ever said we need to get the f out of California was right as hell
Antonio Daniels PREECH 11:26!!!!!
What a joke it was for sports to return, because we had a public health crisis. Should have had sports gone the entire year. Who cares? If money was involved, as it wasn't smart to play. We didn't need sports as a distraction. Bubble was a joke for NHL and NBA. NFL had no joy for me. College Basketball tournament was gone.
Turned out the right call was to continue playing. The TV host was WRONG!! You didn’t know either but that’s no excuse
March 27, 2020 was the Day the NBA stopped
nope en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Suspension_of_the_2019-20_NBA_season
@@M0T0283 I am right. That article clearly proves it. The NBA season ended on March 27, 2020 which was one day after the global pandemic started.
And now monkey pocs
