Good morning enjoy your videos. I have a question regarding the evap purge solenoid that you replaced on a a Pontiac 3800 7 years ago. The solenoid has 2 tips where you attach the vacuum hoses. One has a long plastic tube with a little section of rubber hose that goes over the plenum or valve cover. Where does the other hose connect to as its missing. Does it connect to the throttle body somewhere? I have looked all over the internet and in the service manual and it’s not very clear. Unfortunately your video didn’t show the hoses. Appreciate all your videos 👍

Looks like at the very beginning of that video there is a pretty good image of the hoses. One goes towards the throttle body direction and the other goes over the intake towards the rear of the engine compartment.

Are you referring to the hose that goes over the plenum towards the back of the engine compartment?

@@BarboursAutoHelp there are 2 one on the passenger side that is a long plastic tube with a rubber tip small piece of vacuum hose. That one is there. The solenoid has 2 tees and one is missing the vacuum hose and I have no idea where it connects to. I have the service manual and have looked online but it’s not very informative. It looks like it may connect to the throttle body but not sure. If you look at your video you will notice the solenoid has 2 fittings. Thanks

@HotRod-wv4vm yes I looked at the video. There are two tits with a hose going to both. One goes just behind or to the side of the throttle body and one goes behind the engine. It’s shown at the very beginning of the video. Which one are you talking about?

Try watching the entry to the video again. Not sure if what you’re looking for is there
