Ah nice, so the Telepath subclass is kind of like the Enchantment Wizard in 5E. As long has this game has spells like like Dominate Person and Dominate Monster, that sounds like my first character. Hell yeah.
Funny is.... Pyromancy is most common psychic discipline/subclass lore wise followed by Telekinesis and right after Telepaty.
In the lore and the table top games all psychic powers are even more broken, like Iron Arm what despite the name the user can truly turn his fleash and bone in living metal and not just the arm but any part of the body or all at once and throwing lightinigs is actualy a general power what is most basic and each class can use it, telepath, biomancer, diviner, etc is a power for everyone and is devastating.
In mother Russia of 40000, the bears are psyker.
I am planning my build and I was wondering how can you tell what abilities you can target yourself with? I have seen some abilities says 'cast on an ally within X range' but it doesn't specify you can target yourself, does that mean with abilities with that description you aren't able to?
I've been thinking about psyker builds for a few days now. What do you think would be the best archetype/homeworld for full dps Telepath Psyker? Marksman or Operative? And Fortress World (assuming it can allow you to use a power for 0AP), Forge World or Voidborn?
Full DPS would be either going Forge Analytics or Deathworld imo.
Also go Operative and have high Int.
@@SteinerNein Just had an awesome idea for melee pyromancer build (though I'd prefer a ranged psyker)
Go forge world subskin armor, pyromancer, Warrior Archetype.
Get the talents for flame resistance from both the homeworld and the psyker, the heavy armor talent from forge world, the talents that increase your psy rating and deal damage to adjacent enemies when you're burning. Build yourself as a tanky warrior and go vanguard or maybe arch militant.
Then you just charge into the biggest group of enemies, have Argenta light you all up with a flamer and watch as everything around you melts.
I'm starting to learn mechanics and theorycraft build for release. Would melee dps agility fighter/diviner works from death world? Any better combo?
@@user-pi1hd8fj6k Vast majority of your build is still the choice of your class. Homeworld and origin can complement it, but I don't think it will be a huge difference if they don't.
That said, death world and forge world seem like the two most optimal choices for any melee. Hard to say about diviner until we know more about psychic powers, but the buffs and talents they have access to now seem nice
