@@baphithi You are missing the point it is not political it is about practicality South Africa has facilities that Americans are accustomed to as opposed to other African countries so the lifestyle adjustment is not major.

Tambo was built by our African government, if I'm not mistaken at the time the CEO of ACSA ( the company responsible for airport infrastructure) was an African woman.
Yes, the CEO was a woman, her name is Nomhle something.
The old airport was seriously ugly - built to withstand “terror” attacks and to cater for our tiny minority.

My husband is so addicted to your channel but being zambian, you can guess where I am leaning. They stories I hear are inspiring, please keep up the good work and motivate blk Americans to invest on the African continent as some africans do when we visit and live in America or overseas. Amazing how WE always have to over explain or provide more information than necessary to prove the " why" behind what we have or built as if this is somehow unbelievable, unheard of or a myth like unicorns. The 'be safe' thing is so real. People that don't check on me in Chicago (the crime capitol) were WhatsApping me all during my trip in Rwanda because they were 'afraid for me'.

I love South Africa. I visited in 2017 and paid to visit in 2020 😢.
I plan to visit next year.
Some people rocked up for the very first time, IN 2020. Some brave souls out there, but then the big C was less of a danger here than elsewhere, even Europeans were escaping to our sunny shores.
Uncle Phil and Lady Ashley are intellectuals, hard-core and real they don't thumb suck, if hear them talking believe them,they are speaking from the heart.
The mentality of African Americans when approaching south africa is astonishing and awakening. I so wish everyone who come to this country was like that.

I have a Hvac business that does well in the states. I’m wondering if that would translate to SA? I would love to hire locals, pay them well, and help out the economy. Shout out to uncle Phil too!!
HVAC are the skill and services that are required in South Africa, please do come and Setup your business and also lecture our Artisans in our FET college, our government will support your business if you will create jobs, subcontract the locals and train our youth 🙏

I have a problem with Phil hiring a Zimbabwean on his channel to downtalk South Africa while she says nothing about her home country.

Maybe there wasn't any South African available for the job. I also haven't come across her reporting any misinformation, inspite of how unpleasant the news will be. Wongel is Ethiopian but speaks on every single African country because that's her job on the channel (which is Pan-African by the way). So I feel like Phil will not discriminate but rather get whoever is suitable for the job and hire them.

If you look closely, you'll notice that:
- The Kwanza has no value in the West.
- The Mozambican metical is worth nothing in the West or East.
- The Rand is worthless in the West.
- The dinar is not valid in the west.
- The Naira is also worthless in the West.
- The Sao Tome and Principe fold is not valid in the West and East
Have you noticed that no Afrikana currency has value in the West or in the East right?
Now think with me:
- How are we going to have a strong economy, guarantee local trade if our currencies are weak?
Same way China did, a weak currency insures that people want to invest in your labour and resources ..you gradually build yourself up while insuring those with power don't own you but rather pay to play

Rand is one of the most traded currencies in the world, its very much recognised
Rand is used in namibia, botswana, lesotho, eswatini Mozambique also Zimbabwe
The question to ask is who regulates the markets and values the currencies? Obviously it will be to their benefit and hence African currencies will come out weaker. The S&Ps and Moodys of this world are not 100% transparent and forthcoming, they are controlled by the West with an agenda attached
