Here are my steps to sew the pants:
Sew Along Bob, the steps (episode 19)
Cut pants, extend pocket pieces up to waist.
Finish pockets edges and side leg edges, there will be 4 each.
Sew pocket to side seams, then sew the seam allowance (SA) towards the pocket.
Sew the side seams including the pocket bags, sew the top of the side seam to the notch. This ~5" seam finishes the pocket.
Now, baste the pocket tops to the front legs at the top. The pocket are finished!
Next, Sew the inseams and finish the edges.
Sew the crotch and finish the edges, reinforce as desired.
Prepare the waistband: apply interfacing to the front inside lower half. Press the upper edge down 1/4”.
Attach the waistband, RST. See video for my technique.Sew the short end together, it should be about the back crotch seam. Bring the folded edge inward. Now pin this down and then stitch in the ditch from the public side of the pants. Leave a 3” gap so you can insert elastic
Insert elastic, try on for a reality check, close the waistband
Hem the pants up about and 1”,
    STYE THE FUN PANTS!
My Measurements are: Height 5”10’, upper bust 38”, bust 41”, waist 36”, hips 43”

Hi Kathy 👋 from Eunice, Victoria, Australia. Love the fabric choice and colour. Love the pockets extending into the waist band - much more stable.

Thank you! You! I am loving the Style Arc Aesthetic. Do you sew with their patterns much?

I’ve seen so many pairs ofBob pants, and I really like them, but there is just a lot of fabric around the hips. Mine work best by taking out the surplus fabric and sewing a fly zipper in the front of them . Yours look very nice.

Glad I found you. Your CZcams style is relaxing and interesting and I particularly like seeing all the sewing and pressing. I was interested in the modifications you make with the instructions for sewing these pants , particularly the waistband. Love the colour too 👍😊 Have subscribed

Gorgeous choice of fabric! I’m just embarking on my first Bob pants project and you’ve taken away a lot of the trepidation! Could you please explain how your labelling inside the pants works, it looks so professional 😊

I’m glad you are going too do that. One thing I noted, but didn’t share was the Barry’s are 4 inches smaller in the hips.

Some pant patterns call for easing the back to the front at the crotch and down about 5 inches. I think it is to compensate for the buttocks. Have you ever run into that? Beautiful pants - I wonder why they are called BOB!

Haha. I don't know why they are the Bobs! It's such a fun and random name! I cannot the recall the crotch modification you are referring to. Are you saying they add length in the inseam! that's genius. Maybe, my extra back length might have been intended to go up high near the crotch, not the calf? I assumed my cuts didn't match up because I fiddled with the pattern.
