Love the fabric! I've made many Bobs. In linen, poplin, french terry, sweats. I've lengthened, shortened, added ruffles, binding. They look very different in different fabrics. I also wear them high waist or hips

Glad you got your buttonholes fixed. Little Claude is so cute isn't it funny how endearing those great big dogs are. I have three of them on the floor here and when the doctor asked me if I was having any trouble with my balance you know because I'm old, I said no I have to get around and over three dogs just to get out of my chair and get a cup of coffee. So I guess there's something to be said for maintaining balance and stamina climbing by over your dog. Enjoy your podcasts very much sounds like you're having good holidays. Enjoy.

I love the Bob pants. I have 5 pairs. They definitely run short. I put in slash pockets (just my preference). I think they look great with vests.

Love, you always look fab. I wouldn't have noticed any issue with hair or skin. Also, Bob's are my faves...yours look awesome. I prefer to wear mine with boxy cropped tops and sweaters. They're a heavy denim so more of a winter wear. I changed the pockets so that they extended up into the waistband, just to keep them from flopping around. Glad you sorted your button situation. What an awesome shirt. Enjoy!!! PS Dorothy's Daughter (another sewing youtube channel) uses crokies??? a lot. She also does a little video on what they are and how to use them.

Love my Bob's but Barry's are a but more flattering on my petite-ish frame. Both fabulous patterns. No changes. I style with a shorter top for summer and the same for winter but with a vest over. Loving my Miller from Merchant and Mills. Try any of the Japanese cotton canvas prints for fun. Love Miss Matasabi for online buying.
Oh that’s good to know I’ll go look at “Barry” I’ve been looking at vests a lot lately I have one from thread theory I haven’t tried yet but the Miller looks really good I like the length of that one a lot. Someone else commented about styling the bib w shorter tops too I’ll definitely try that and thanks for the miss matatabi suggestion !
@@thebigsewalong Check out Wardrobe by Me. They just came out with a new vest pattern. Love WBM for their amazing instructions and always CZcams sew-alongs. Drafting is great too. Super cute but more fitted than Miller. Miller is definitely boxy. Love it tho. Great layering piece. Tried to wear it with nothing under this summer (Arizona) but the armholes are really big. Great video Gini! I learn so much from you (never heard of a croquis) and always appreciate your tips and recommendations! I have the pants fabric and several others by Marcia Dunst-love her designs!! I love the outfit! A boxy top would be better proportion-wise but it still looks good.

💕Claude💕 Marcia Derse is my favorite fabric designer! The fabrics are her original artwork. Some of her prints are available in what the manufacturer names canvas. I've finally decided that Style Arc patterns just don't work for me. I've made 3 Bob's and I tossed them all. I even got the Betty top and it looked horrible on me. Every time I see Betty on Bob on anyone else they look great but on me.....awful. I just found a new pattern company, Style Falcon. I'm thinking about the shirt pattern, I think you will like it.
