- Mike found the perfect blend between speed and durability: a 1963 Volvo PV544. However, for the car to be a little bit more usable, they need to add a modern touch to it, like an air conditioner.

Wheeler Dealer isn't the same without Edd..
Joelific no shit
I agree , bring back Edd.
Hello Edd you the king of engineering😉🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆🏆
It's convenient, the crimping tool being on the shelf and the Mac Tools truck drives by at 4:42. Can't even get half the tools listed on the parts' stores shelves without a two day wait, that's service! Lol
You didn't show the plumbing and installation of the condenser.
The star here is the auto supplier, Ashley Cunningham, Reid's Hot Rod parts in Orange, CA.
Hello, or buy the air conditioning system? thank you
Based on the parts bought, shouldn't he be lacking a condenser and a receiver drier ?
Yes, can't do AC without them.
I am glad to see he closed the trunk properly. I have had to adjust mine after someone who did not realize you had to lift it first closed it. 😡
Where´s Ashley´s shop ? Website ?
Love it.
Wow you get everything in the US
Honda NSX in France WD i dont understand any word but look what mechanic doing.
Niiiice Volvo 😲
Interesting, but you didn't actually show anything being installed.
Buggers! "Less than a thousand"? Me not think so. Saw the full episode. The price was double. Ha!
I installed a in dach A/C much better than a hand on.
Nothing against the new guy... But Edd still the best ever.
👍❤️
Please buy a Honda crx del sol sir 2 with b16a Motor please please pleas 🙏🏼
Pretty "cool". I would want this for my future old car without A/C as an option from new. And it is always reversible.
They go to extreme on fitting over 1k of air conditioning amongst everything else yet Ed couldnt change a old rusty thermostat for a couple of quid
Hey WD wood it be to much to ask for full show not 7 minutes last time I ck your show are 60 minutes long.
come on ED
So I'm tooling down I-80 coming back from my daughter's soccer game in Sacramento in my 62 544. I'm traveling about 75-80 mph when suddenly the engine made a funny sound and immediately something was wrong. The temperature was normal as I pulled into a gas station to take a look to see if something may have fallen off or become disconnected. Before I shut the engine off I noticed I had a buzz in the radio that wasn't there before. Anyhow, I couldn't see anything wrong and the car had no difficulty starting. But now when the engine hits higher rpm's, about the time it would be to shift gears the engine loses power until I complete the shift into the next gear and lower RPMs. So what would be your very well-educated guess as to what is going on here? I am an admitted mechanical retard so it's better that I don't try to guess what the problem may be.
If you still have points & condenser then it could be the 'pig tail' wire breaking when the advance mechanism moves the distributor base plate too far.
Your not truly British if you watched this and didn’t get excited when Mike went to buy AC from a fellow brit in California
Woo he's so nice if l asking to lend me that tool he will tell go to hell
Probably.
Does that Volvo not use a Ford engine
Probably so because Ford is German
Volvo red block B18.
