    Damn. That's a nice looking battery. The BMS is beefy.

    Very nice build!
    I was a little surprised to see how easy that pack slid out of the case though. Was there adhesive sticking it to the bottom of the case?
    Love the teaser at the end!

      Thankfully for me, there was no need for adhesive. The pack was a perfect fit inside the case. 👍👍👍

    Great video and great teardown! One thing I'm confused about, this battery has a label of IP65 on the top label. I checked on their website and on an image it says IP65 but in the description it says IP67. Maybe this is something you can clarify. Thank you for your great content!

      Yes, That was a misprint when they sent me the battery. It has an IP67 rating

    Ul is a company that tested a product using the manufacturer data for the test we had a UL heater that caught fire , we called UL and was basically told can't help you i asked for the tested data and was told we use the manufacturer test data TBSS .

    Do you have any plans to test some of the sodium ion cells that are starting to show up on the market?

    Thanks for the great review. Do you know what is the minimum current required to turn on the heating pads? And, are the heating pads on the bottom and top of the battery?

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  Před 8 měsíci +1

      Yeah, they are on the bottom and top. Not sure about the minimum. I'd imagine the lower the available watts the slower the heating time.

    are you still using the epoch batteries in your golf cart? if so, maybe you could do a follow up on them and how they have been doing. maybe you could address all the codes that it seems a lot of users are getting on their meter.

      I will be doing more videos with the batteries in the spring. I live in Canada and it's too cold wet and muddy this time of year. This is the first time I've heard of any error codes with the fuel gauge.

    In the introduction you initially say the battery has an IP67 rating and then proceed to show on the battery it shows an IP65 rating. Was the IP67 rating a mis-speak?

    • @Roll2Videos
      @Roll2Videos  Před 7 měsíci

      No, It was a miss print. The batteries they are shipping out have an IP67 rating. Sorry about that

    Do you have recommend 40-60amp charge controllers Victron dropped there prices on theirs 30% across the charge controller line so I’m leaning that way

      @Roll2Videos  Před 8 měsíci

      Sorry, I don't. I've only ever used their smart shunts. Victron is a very well-recommended product I'm sure they all work great.

    I reviewed their 400ah battery and am thinking about doing their 200ah 12v. You did a great job with this review. I think I'll spend more time with the cell heaters next time.

      I have no doubt their 200Ah is just as great as the 400Ah. Best of luck ill check out your video 😁👍
