- In this video, we will review and shoot AVS airgun slugs in .3063 Diameter out to 100 yards to show amazing accuracy from the AGT Vulcan 3 PCP airgun. We also have feedback from Tyler Alexander (he can be found on the FACEBOOK page "Precision Airgunning - Long Range Target And Hunting") with his 25 cal (.2553 Diameter slugs) showing even more amazing accuracy shooting .2553 42 grain out to 200 YARDS.

What about 22cal I slug my barrel and give me .2210 what slug do you recommend for the same gun
Yes, that is very close to what we got. Try using AVS 2213 but the lead in on the polygon barrelmis very sharp. So the 2213 are getting damaged. We got Sub MOA groups at 100 yards with the 2193 35 and 36 grain at 900 fps. Regulator set at 150 bar. You will need to load the slug quickly and smoothly not the damage the slug. We are looking into reeming a softer angle at the lead in.

Awesome groups. I was actually pleased to see real world groups, not just the pretty ones that some channels show. I'm over here wondering what I'm doing wrong when I don't get consistent moa groups, but from watching this video I see that not all the groups are sub-moa, and it's the probably the human factor, environmental factors, ammo inconsistency, etc., so to expect perfection each time is setting yourself up for disappointment. Great shooting, thanks for sharing 💪
Awesome slug groups. I'd be very pleased with them. That Vulcans sweet. Your getting better groups than I do with slugs with my mk2 impact for sure.

Oh man…. I ordered a bunch of slugs for my Vulcan 3 .30 from you yesterday!!!!! Then you drop this video 😭😭😭 just my luck I swear. I hurried over and ordered 300 rounds of the 61 vuls right after I seen this video.

Really really wish you could make a 50 grain dish .3036 I’m currently shooting 49.5nsa @978fps with insane spread of like 2 or 3 over 2 full mags!! It’s mind blowing!

@@eyesintheskies I ordered one ,it has air capacity of 700 cc ,it is mere power to shoot all weights of Ammo. Plus,it is built like a tank ,unlike some airgun brand with shake-milk barrel!
Of course,I will never abandon the hw100 .

Great rifle. The short barrel is the way to go with the lower calibers. The hammer spring is super loud too so keep that in mind if it bothers you.

What is doing out the box on max power? I like he new H&N slugs heavy slugs 44g...I want something that will push them....I'm more of a 50 yards and under shooter...I like the fx maverick sniper and kalibrgun tactical 25cal, u can add a power plenum for the kalibrgun extra power ,both those guns have power adjustable wheels is why I'm favoring them so I can shoot pellets? What fpe was yall getting
everyone says that the barrel of the vulcan 3 2023 is dual port, but a friend of mine bought a Vulcan 3 in March and the barrel had a single bore, so I would like to know for sure from everyone who owns it, or from AGT if the barrel IS really dual port or not, i mean for cal .6.35
What were the FPS on the .30 cal?

I would like to see groups shot with an AO scope on that rifle. I suspect they were having parallax issues.
I'm not. Great shooter but I do not know why our groups were not consistent. Like Barls said maybe something to do with the scope or the shooter
@@AirVelocitySport Steve, I’ve owned Vulcan since January and I can tell you first hand, that alpha precision barrel likes to be clean. I’ll be shooting lights out at 100 and suddenly the accuracy starts to drift off. That’s always my Q that barrel needs cleaned. (Around 200 shots) once barrel is cleaned it’s right back on target.

Sir I know this is off the subject of this particular video but I have to ask. Do you make a slug that will shoot well in my .25 caliber LCS SK-19 LW Polygonal barrel, and if so what is it please? This gun is super easy to tune and very reliable. I would love to find a slug that reaches out and touches what I’m shooting at. FX 34 grain pellets seem to be the most accurate but still feel somewhat loose in the magazine. I have tried NSA 38.5 grain .250 slugs but with poor results. I hope you have the recipe that my barrel likes. Take care of Bud. God bless.
Heath, I have no doubt that one of te larer diameters in 25 cal like 2513 253 or even 254 will shoot more accurately than a .250 we are finding more and more airgun barrels are larger than 250 at th groove diameter and that is the key to shooting slugs accurately. That being said j would recommend slugging your barrel to get an impression. The other option is to contact the manufacturer tonet those dimensions

How fast on the 61 grainers?
Question how do you slug a barrel, and the only slug I could find is 300 NSA or the knockouts or the FX hybrid that's it, I can't find anything with a bigger size.

@@AirVelocitySport thanks, now I know, I see how it is done, now I have to buy more tools in order to slug my barrel, however I also found your slugs website do you sell which I didn't see but I'm asking, have you ever considered selling like a sample pack of different sizes for people who don't want to go to the procedure of slugging or just want to try different slugs?
@@zsedcz Steve will say the same, you would want to slug the barrel to acquire proper diameter first. Then get a sample of different weights in that particular diameter. will save you tons of time and frustration.

Thats a lot of shooting and while it is called cherry picking to select the best group to brags about, that target shot at 21:45 was amazing and deserving of a foul mouth celebration. Loved it!

Just like shooting a break barrel correctly, (but not as touchy),--get the forces off the gun and let it do it's thing. That includes cheek and shoulder,---just barely touch.

African air ordnance has an upgrade kit that includes something to stop that ping, always do a power upgrade though sounds like you don’t need that 😂

The group of the day was damn good. Being that the gun is more or less locked in a vice, I'd have thought all the groups would look a little better.
I'm not that good of a shooter. The 30 cal has a lot of kick or flip at the muzzle. I was putting a lot of weight to try to contain it.
Yes, you would think that. However, the caldwell did greatly reduce the muzzle flip. But still the recoil that remained could shift the muzzle ever so much to shift the POI. The hold was everything. Whenever I lapsed in concentration at all , the groups opened up.
I'd like to see a stock FX do better than that. I don't think so.
The vulcan is one of the best guns to tune but is so well built that it's Great right out of the box.
@@AirVelocitySport I got a Uragan .30 and it amazes me how well it shots, especially after shooting a FX gun.

This is marc , the big guy. we shot these groups that day with my hunting scope. a zerotech 6-24x 50. NOT the best target scope.
Hey Marc, I really did like that zero tech scope. I have been getting feedback that our group size inconsistencies could be due to scope parallax issues. If ou recall I kept changing my hold. Again, thank you for all our help with this video my friend.
@@AirVelocitySport True, it's a great hunting scope but I struggle a bit with my eyesight and that reticle at 100 yards target sighting. Will do this again with my Delta and see if that makes a difference.

Do you know what is the biggest air tank that I can put on my umarex gauntlet 25cal gen1 and can my tank is 3000 psi thinking out loud would like to put a 4500 psi tank I've already upgraded once through haji with the flex reg running 2200 psi now it's a niga reg do you think i could put a bigger tank with higher pressure capability would like more air .
