@@rt-qe9xw I measured my old sink and picked up one the same size. It’s really an easy project. Just remember to turn the water off first.

@@rt-qe9xw sorry I just used a measuring tape and measured the width and the length and picked up a sink that was within the parameters of the old sink. It’s not difficult and if you’re not sure, take your measurements with you and ask for assistance when you get to the store-you can do it!!!
Thank you for the humor! I’d love your advice on my bathroom. I want to remove the drop-in sink and put a vessel sink on top of the counter. Is there some way to just fill in that hole where the sink used to be? Just plywood and clips?

6:21 Plumbers Putty should never be used on rubber or plastic plumbing parts since it will progressively damage anything other than metal. Use only 100% silicone caulk.

How did you find a countertop and sink combo that was exactly the right size?
How do I determine the size for the new countertop and sink? Just find the same size and replace it? Thx
yes you can use the same size. or in some cases, it can be a few inches bigger. you can always measure all the dimensions of the counter to confirm. just make sure, you have enough space for the extra inches. also make sure you measure from inside of the cabinet on the top. you want to make sure that the new counter will rest in the cabinets top wood. if it does not remember you can always add wood either in the inside or the outside of the cabinet. so the new counter can rest on it. also a pro tip , make sure that your new counter weight can be supported by the cabinet. you can as well add more wood support for the new one if needed. good luck.
