Genuine question: what makes it a mediaeval sword drawing sound instead of any other sword drawing sound? If possible, please describe the variety of mediaeval sword from which the sound is derived.
@@Elstreemodern scabbards and sheaths are much better made with higher quality materials, so the sound is slightly different than the "traditional" mediaeval sound. Also, katana scabbards are made to be completely silent when drawing and are roughly from a similar period.

I would love to see a video where everyone tried each others weird food they would make as a kid. Like the thing you and your siblings threw together for yourself when your parents were busy or not home and you had to fend for yourselves.
They had a short series called Sandwich Artist but I think they were making more adulthood foods/snacks, but still was fun cause I think two other cast members tried their food
Ooh yes. I got my friends to try a food that I would insist on having all the time as a kid. I went in underselling it but some of them liked it and the very picky child in me felt so incredibly validated
My friend and her brother would make mustard sandwiches after school. I loved it and would eat them all the time. Now I know it was the result of a poor household and mustard being the only thing that wouldn't be missed as easily. I was also poor, but I would at least get a slice of kraft on there before I found the plain mustard.

It's so funny at 27:20 when the crew tells them the mystery part of the fish dinner is apples. Chanse starts rocking back and forth, Courtney is screaming, Angela looks afraid, all of them reaching their limits and then there's Spencer just calm and talking about his life like "ok let's do this".

I used to eat the lemon pepper fish all the time as a kid, and I can tell you something has gone wrong since then. The apples used to be a compote, and were actually pretty tasty. The fish had a lot of very flavorful breading.

Watching you guys eat food I've actually tried for once has only made me realize how amazingly drastic your reactions are. I've eaten all of those and never once made any of the faces Angela did.
I think it probably depends on where you live and what kind of food you have access to. The Smosh cast lives in LA and has the money to probably get a good variety of tasty restaurant food on a regular basis. So that'll definitely make frozen dinners taste a lot worse in comparison (plus just the fact that they need to have *some* kind of reaction to the food otherwise it'd probably make for a boring episode)
I mean, Angela is just very expressive so that’s part of it.
When you make a CZcams video for a comedy-centric channel, you have to either react strongly to things or be quippy and clever with your comments.

A thing you have to consider is, DIFFERENT PEOPLE ranked each of those meals, probably.
So you're not seeing 1 person's opinion on all of these foods, you're seeing 1 person who really liked Hungry-Man, and another who didn't really like Totinos, and they don't have consistent scales for what is a 1 and what is a 10
Yeah it's a weird way to rank things, there should be a standard set by the mods on the subreddit lol, otherwise it's just every single one rated in a personal vacuum
Plus, frozen dinners will come out different every time you cook them. Maybe their brownie was well-cooked, and their chicken wasn't bland. Who knows?

Well, call me a freak because Ham & Cheddar Hot Pockets are my favorite.
Same but at the same time these were Hickory smoked ham and in my experience hickory smoke is too much smoke.
The Walmart brand ones are low-key better but the ham and cheese hot pockets (off brand or not) are on top for sure

I think a big problem with a lot of these Reddit ratings is they are the kinds of people who don't understand how a 1-10 scale works and once you're aware of how common this is you see them all the time.
Essentially they think that a 5/10 is the worst something could possibly be, which is obviously just wrong, a 5/10 is right in the middle of the scale, it's "okay" or "normal", but not bad, but these people don't see it that way, they see 1-4/10 as essentially a 0/5 and a 5/10 as a 1/5, even tho a 5/10 would be a 2.5/5, but they don't see it that way, so when they're rating something they go "Well it's not the worst it could possibly be, so I can't give it a 5/10."
I started this video thinking I had never eaten any microwaved foods and was pretty proud and then THOSE DAMN MARIE CALENDER POT PIES showed up and brought me back to a place I had long forgotten.

An important notice to all watching this video: MICROWAVE WATTAGE LEVELS DIFFER. The microwave instructions on most things are calculated for 1000~1200 microwaves. Microwaves are sold very very low end 700, but typically 900 to 1100, and high end 1200 and up. Some people even into adulthood don't know microwaves are different and cooking things in them needs time adjustment for wattage. Also please note some foods will say do not use microwave to cook if under *blank* power is available. So if you buy a cheap 900 microwave, some foods can't/shouldn't be cooked in it. Their microwave was very cute but based on some of the food being undercooked was probably a 900. If you have the money, try to go for 1100-1200; you will never need to worry about adjusting microwave cooking times that way 👍

I buy Marie calendar meals for my work lunches haha. They’re 4 for $10 at a store I love by and once I figured out all the ones I like it’s a solid easy cheap lunch.
I’m still trying to find my ideal frozen meal for lunch, it’s like my white whale. I always just come back to specifically the stouffer’s 2x meat lasagna but I always feel ashamed eating it at work lmfao

@@cassie6985 I had to do trial and error on the frozen meals but for Marie calendar any of the Mac and cheese variants, cheesy chicken and rice, country fried chicken and gravy and Alfredo bake bowl are some of my go to choices! As for the ashamed part, my coworkers always tell me how good the break room smells when I microwave these things haha. It probably helps that most of them don’t actually eat on their lunch breaks haha. In the end it’s a solid way to easily keep track of calories, not have to deal with meal prep and if you can live near a “Giant” grocery store they’re super cheap with the store deal card (which is free) so yeah. Just my two cents.

1. Viewer suggested frozen dinners - mostly because i want to know what they think of my fav (Healthy Choice Chicken Margherita with Balsamic)
2. Novelty ice cream products - although i don't know how practical it is to have a bunch of ice cream at once 😂 (weight watchers fudge bars)
3. Cold fast food - spiritual successor to burger but cold but practical to help determine which foods will survive being saved for later without requiring reheating (Wendy's nuggets)

I live with and look after my 94yo so have to overcook most veggies or he'll complain. He'll complain about having to eat his veggies regardless tbh but I insist he has them occasionally 😂
