Spicy Ramen, Spicier Questions (Mukbang Q+A)

Courtney’s Broth-less Spicy Ramen:
~Ingredients~
1/2 large yellow onion
2 garlic cloves
1/3 petite sweet corn
1/3 cup frozen spinach
2 cups broccoli florets
2 tbsp soy sauce
1 tbsp rice vinegar
3 tbsp butter
1 egg
1 packet Samyang Buldak spicy ramen
Noodles
Buldak sauce
Furikake
~Directions~
1. Slice onion into rings, make 1 cut to make them into noodles
2. Mince garlic
3. Medium heat saucepan, add butter and garlic
4. Once garlic is aromatic, add onion, broccoli, spinach, corn, then soy sauce and rice vinegar - cook for 8 minutes
5. Boil water in pot for ramen noodles (separate)
6. Boil water in small pot for egg (separate)
7. Crack egg into strainer, less excess white strain
8. Cook ramen noodles in water for 3/4 minutes
9. Pour egg into small pot, cook for 3 minutes, set aside
10. Strain noodles, put pan of veggies on low
11. Add Buldak sauce into pain, followed by noodles, stir
12. Put ramen/veggies into a bowl, top with egg
13. Sprinkle furikake on top and enjoy!

being so so honest, as a consistent smosh watcher and a lover of longer videos i would love for this to become a series! i liked eat it or yeet it but it was a little too painful to watch bc i would always feel bad that you would eat genuinely bad things, but seeing how excited and happy courtney was to share her recipe was so so sweet!! i also just love casual content like this too :)

Hunger Games: Smosh the Movie
This era of the cast and crew is by far my favorite. It's both, to me, the funniest but also most mature and interesting (which makes sense, the cast is older now but still).
I love previous cast members but I really adore this era.

Guess Who Styled Me is SUCHHHHHH a good concept! PLEASE make this a reality! It reminds me of those videos where Kpop stars style a blogger and control their wardrobe for a week and what activities they do in the outfits. Its SO CUTE. I would love Chance to be styled first and then Courtney and then maybe Angela and Shayne. It wouldn't be to make them feel uncomfortable or prank/make fun of them, it would be like...best effort to style someone based on what they know about the person. OR, have it not be a mystery and they just have to rank the outfits on a tier list.
There’s actually a show on Dropout called Very Important People, where a cast member has no mirrors to see what’s being done to them until the end, and they have to make up a character based on the transformation, and do an interview as that character. It’s incredible. I’m talking prosthetics, hair, makeup, outfit, accessories, everything.
Their Who Styled Me idea reminds me of that 🙏🏻❤️

I honestly just love this era. I want to put it in a time capsule, losing anyone at this point would feel like a huge loss. Games has never been better by infusing improv elements and Pit is a chill vibe with hilarious moments as well. Its such a good time and everyone is such a distinct character, just easy to relate to someone and be excited about interactions of different group dynamics. Everyone has their strenghts whether it is genuinely good acting, charisma or improvising. I love the newer members, Tommy and Spencer as Cast/Crew Hybrids, but shoutout Courtney for being here through so much.
I was soooooo sad when Jackie left. She is so damn funny. I hope she’s living her best life rn tho 🥹

I mean...She did say she would be down for collabs in the future if the opportunity arises...so they seem good with each other. I mean another example is Sarah Whittle...she left, but still seems to love Smosh and the crew so much, always uptodate with iconic moments and supporting online. She also appears in videos now and then. Same with Ify. You can be gone, but still be part of the family it seems. But I miss her energy as well...she did seem sad in the last video they did.

As a girlie with a chronicaly sensitive tummy, it felt really good seeing them cheer Ian on (4:14) for adding more hot sauce. I need friends to cheer me on when I tiptoe outside of my food restrictions
I always forget he’s gluten free, but it’s SUPER wholesome they think about him and his tummy issues. I actually don’t know if I’m gluten intolerant, but I definitely get tummy issues every so often, and I don’t know that gluten is always the cause. My body is just cursed 😂
I forgot to mention: The spicy ramen recipe was great! I didn’t have ramen so I used spaghetti, and I didn’t have soy sauce so I used Worcestershire sauce, and I was out of garlic cloves so I used just cloves, and I was out of water, so I boiled the noodles in Razz-cranberry LaCroix. I give it ⭐️⭐️

When I saw the video I was intrigued and looking forward to the Q&A but honestly I think this is my new favourite format. Mukbang Q&A, or Mukbang and an easy party game, or Mukbang and group conversation. There's overlap with other formats (Reddit, SmoshMouth, Games) of course but the recipe aspect, calm air, enjoyable convo. It's very enjoyable. Maybe a once a month type video? Or once every other? A different cast or crew member brings a signature dish of theirs? Could y'all please? I cannot emphasize enough how nice and enjoyable this is. Almost feels like a little peak behind the curtain as well.

This was legit so lovely. A nice break from the usual (loved) chaos. I think if this were to continue as a series it might be better to have others share their specialties. The goal of this felt like a sincere moment of sharing, and so it would probably fit nicely to give more cast/crew members a chance to share the food that's special to them. Plus if it were to become a series the variety would give it a bit more longevity.
