I guess it does make sense early on (especially if you go second) if it’s clear which drink was moved, because then that eliminates a possibility for a spot, but as more drinks are moved and more spots used it becomes less and less relevant. And all this relies on being able to tell which drink was moved last as well

The whole cast and crew got on stage and were emotional but then they realized that he just had the wrong card and Moonlight actually one. I hope that helps!
