Buckeyes are significantly better when they're homemade (rolled balls of cold peanut butter mixed with powdered sugar and a bit of vanilla, dipped in chocolate and set in the fridge). I would devour them during the holidays when I was younger
Exactly! I’ve actually never seen them prepackaged like that in any store I’ve been in here in Ohio, we either make them homemade or buy them freshly made. If he had homemade I guarantee he would change his mind!
My mom always made them at home and they are decadent and so so good. I’ve never had them or seen them prepackaged, but I’m from the south.

These 4 cast members were unexpected, but very enjoyable to see everyone together. I like when we get a good mixture of different cast members. I like all the vibes of everyone together.

As an Ohio native I can confirm buckeyes are one of the good things that come from this state. That being said I don't think I've ever seen them packaged before. They're almost always homemade which I can only assume makes them superior to whatever they bought here.
Not an Ohio native but I've been living here for about two and a half years, a year and a half of which has been at university. I don't know if I've had a buckeye yet, but I'm basically sure I'd love them.
I'm a Tennessean and I can't say the same for Moon Pies even though I really tried to like them
As a Hoosier I was genuinely baffled that they didn’t know what they were! I’ve also never seen them in a wrapper before.

Same here, in Michigan (and with family in Ohio). I've only ever seen homemade buckeyes, usually the ones my sister makes at Christmas time. I never knew there was a packaged candy version.
I've had the packaged ones before, and they are nowhere near as good as homemade ones are. I don't know how you can mess up basically just chocolate and peanut butter, but they somehow do! Homemade ones are some of my favorite desserts ever though!
i'm so happy that, now that he's cancer free, we're seeing keith more. he's just such a fun guy and always brings a chaotic good presence to the videos he's in

Every other year growing up my family and a couple others that we were close with would go to Delaware, and every year all the kids could pick out something from the candy shop on the boardwalk. I would ALWAYS get the wax bottles, I freaking loved those things. The blue ones were the best, and I’d chew on the wax for at least an hour just to stim. Good memories.

I remember Nerd Ropes as a kid and LOOOVED them. Always got one at the local Texaco. I think they got discontinued for a while, because I didn't see them for years, and then all of a sudden the Clusters came out and Nerd Ropes made a resurgence. I love it

That snorting pixi sticks was a Gen Z tradition. When I graduated high school, the middle school started snorting pixi sticks like two to three years later which is older Gen Z kids. They're also the tide pod eaters.

I had an old substitute teacher that would give us a crème saver after class every time he would come to the school. He was the sweetest man and I think about him often
So many of these candies I recognize. Used to walk down the road when visiting my grandfather and they would have a small candy shop that sold everything for $1. Always got sixlets which is still my favorite childhood candy.
My dad makes buckeyes every holiday season for friends and family. They’re actually so good and really easy to make!

The candy slime!! I was reading the newest (at the time) book about a certain magical boy when I spilled the green apple flavored candy slime all over the pages. I cleaned it up best I could, but those 2 pages are glued together to this day 😮💨

See, the trick with Goobers is you also get a box of Raisinets and mix them a handful at a time. Really good pairing with salty popcorn. Pretty standard movie candy back in the day.

The crème savers used to pop around my house and I was so happy to find them! When I found them a few years ago I always kept a bag in my purse bc they were a good snack hahaha. Love them!

I'm Gen X. When I was a kid, Bottle Caps were larger and shaped like the cap off a Cola bottle, hence the name. I always liked the root beer flavored one.
