Double Wear has been my holy grail for a couple years now. It really takes a LOT for a foundation to wow me and this one did on so many levels. This sucker has lasted me consistently 12-15+ hours including out in heat/humidity/rain. It holds up!
I am so glad you got to spend some quality time with Davis! I know when my husband came back from a 9 month deployment, all I wanted was some relaxing quality time with him and it was amazing! You deserve it all girl!
This foundation is bomb! It's really matte, so if I feel like having a more dewy look, I just mix 1 drop of Argan or Marula oil on the back of my hand with the foundation.
Can you please do a review on the urban decay all night matte foundation and let us know which one u like better the urban one or the Estée Lauder one

salsabil wahdan I bought the all nighter first, took it off and went and bought the Estée Lauder and I am obsessed. I'm in love with it. This is the closest match to my skin that I've ever had.
Girl forget the all nighter. The EL double wear is amazing. It also used to be my HG and for whatever reason and in true oily girl fashion I was always looking for something better for my oily ass face... There isn't anything better. It looks amazing on the skin it literally looks flawless. The all nighter really broke up on my face...by lunch time it was a straight hot mess. And it transfers so so so freaking bad on me. The double wear is on there like glue. Ugh estee lauder double wear.. I could literally go on for hours about how amazing it is...like to the point where I've just decided to make it my HG again haha there is just nothing like it!
I too hated the all night matte foundation! Even though I am a normal to oily skin type, I just felt like the all night matte foundation was super drying on my skin, like my skin literally felt like it was suffocating lol

Back when I worked for Estée Lauder Tawny was number 1 seller followed by Sand. It does oxidize some. Just remember that. I loved it. That was my favorite too.

This has been my holy grail for years now. I mix it with everythingggggg because it makes other foundations last all day. I have mostly normal/dry skin though which is why I usually mix it because it's so mattifying.

Khadija, I agree! I don't care for the gimmicky stuff and I think some youtubers don't realize most of their subscribers can't afford $100 makeup products. I sure can't! Therefore I don't care how they preform. No product is worth that much. There's always a dupe out there.
I love how you did an update outside in natural light. Really shows how beautiful it is in any light. I don't know how many times I have done my face and then gone outside and gone "what the hell just happened! " 😆.

Freaking love this foundation, like you I used it years ago and came back. The only foundation I have ever used that can stand up to 90 degree heat and humidity.
Could you do a tutorial on doing a wing with eyeliner on hooded eyes? I have hooded eyes and it's like impossible for me to get a wing right. It always transfers or you can't even see it.

HIGHLY recommend this foundation. I can leave it on for a whole 24 hours which I have after a drunken night partying and woke up and it still looks amazing. It stops my oils from coming through and isn't heavy on the skin with excellent coverage and doesn't cling to dry spots!!! Makes your skin look flawless. It's been my holy grail for about 3 years now! BTW it lasts a VERY long time! Takes me nearly a year to go through a bottle.

This has been my favorite foundation since I first started using it a few years ago. It's literally the only I use now because it just doesn't compare to any others. It also looks better and better on me as the day wears on because it mixes well with the oils on my face without making me actually look oily. It's the shit!

I love the Estée Lauder Double Wear! Ive used it every day for the last 6 years, it's amazing! I tried the Kat Von D foundation but it creased EVERYWHERE. It literally settled into every fine line on my face so that didn't work out for me.
The brush side makes it look airbrushed! So beautiful! And yeah, your gold highlight was POPPIN in the car!

I think that's the best I've seen a foundation look on you. You look stunning. I use other foundations all the time because I'm a foundation junky and also because I have every single one you have recommend lol. Double Wear is still my favorite though. On Friday I work a 14 hour day and I won't wear anything else that day.

I just recently tried this foundation and I'm loving it so much more than the kat von d, the Kat one never really stayed on my skin even though I primed and all that. It works for some people but I think my skin was just too oily for the foundation. It would get splotchy on me and just doesn't look good. I decided to try Estee lauder and I was amazed how long it lasted when the women at the counter didnt even set it. I wore it yesterday with my primers and setting spray and it looked beautiful all day and didn't get messy despite me being in a bit of sprinkling rain and me being oily. I love it. Never going back to Kat.

Zena Lashute actually she doesn't have a filter on her camera and she showed it in natural light with her phone. She isn't afraid to show her natural bare skin at all either. I don't think that's being fake. You can tell the ones that use the filter and she doesn't. Why do people have to cut others down? Does it make them feel better about themselves? Doesn't make sense to me. The foundation happens to make her look that good. I have seen her review a foundation that makes her skin look horrible and she wasn't afraid to show us in the video either. She keeps it real. You will get a lot more out of life if you're just nicer to people.

I love this foundation so much! I put it on at 6:30 AM before I go to school and by the time I get home from work at 7:30 it still looks great :)
