Eiserman has a lot of work to do before he can become the player people believe he can be… He honestly reminds me of Oliver Wahlstrom… Cole definitely has a better shot in my opinion but he doesn’t work hard enough away from the puck, Rarely uses his playmaking skills, Not great defensively and that’s a recipe for disaster in the NHL… Eiserman is gonna need to go to a team like Montreal for example for him to become the best player he can be… Montreal has shows these past two years that they can develop players on and away from the puck, Eiserman would benefit going to a organization like that… BUT as a Habs fan I really hope they draft Tij Iginla, This kid is gonna be special…

I’m with you on the Silayev vs. Demidov case. Silayev may have a shorter floor, but Demidov has a much, much higher ceiling. I know the Hawks are never really big on Russians, but if they’re slotted at #4 or even #3, I’d strongly consider getting him.
Simashev was picked 6th by the Coyotes in 2023
Virtually 0% chance Chicago is taking a left handed D with their first pick as their stacked on the left side with Korchinski, Vlasic, Del mastro and Allen were as there pretty weak on RHD outside of Rinzel. Likely down to Demidov, Lindstrom and Levshunov with their pick.

is Artyom Levshunov better than some of the Habs Defencesor like maybe Kaiden Guhle, Logan Mailloux, or David Reinbacher
I'm just asking because I'm thinking its worth it to trade one of those guys plus our pick to move up to be able to get Cayden Lindstrom, well maybe Mike Matheson, by any luck the Habs will move up in the draft pick with the lottery, be we got to get Cayden Lindstrom IMO
I like Lindstrom too, but his injuries worry me, he came back and then had a setback. We don't another LTIR guy on the team. If healthy I would LOVE him on the team. I am really hoping we can get Demidov and Iginla. Last year I wanted Michkov, or Leonard but we took a D which I felt was silly, because this Draft is FULL of high end D, and Levshunov would be a perfect fit, RD.

Calgary won too many games at the end of the year to make this happen. Flames luck, he is going to go 2 spots before the flames pick....a spot the flames could have had if they didn't beat the sharks.
These final rankings have been really puzzling. A lot of prospects moving up and down on the list other than Celebrini. Really looking forward to how the draft will go down!
Levshunov is high because hes right handed. But Hawks should take Lindstrom if they dont get one. Eiserman will go 5 to 8. Hes fast and has good size. He will score 50 plus. Would be tempted for the Hawks would reach and put him with Bedard. The Hockey news does the best job at projecting.

Hey brother been watching u sense almost the beginning. Im hoping the habs draft the best goal scorer available (Eisenman im thinking) but i think should also trade there other 1st plus 1-2 young LD for the best scorer they cam get with eiter term or who ill resign. Aside from the ducks zegras, who else is out there

Not really to be honest… Yes for sure last year people believed Eiserman was a clear second overall pick and maybe even first overall, But we have seen prospects drop significantly in their draft year because that’s when Scouts and NHL scouts are really paying attention to these players… Sure Scouts pay attention to players for a while but the draft year is always when scouts really wanna see that prospect take steps forward, And Eiserman did not do that this season… He’s looked horrible away from the puck, Playmaking, Effort etc. 2 seasons ago 1 year away from the 2023 draft Brayden Yager was a CLEAR top 5 pick at that time, but when it came closer to the draft Yager was out of the top 10… 2022 draft Wright fell when he was the “clear first overall” for a while years even, But he also dropped because he had a down draft season and refused to play when COVID hit and other players did, Wrights effort in his draft year was mediocre he didn’t back check hard at all and as a so called “Two Way C” you better Back Check hard and play a good two way game and wright did not do that, Juraj Slafkovsky was the clear number 1 and if Wright did go number 1 people in 5 years would have been saying Juraj should have been number 1…. So personally I am not surprised Eiserman has fallen this much. I am not a draft expert by any means but I always pay attention to the first 3 rounds of a draft and players projected to go in the first 3 rounds and I have done a lot of research on the players in the first 3 rounds, And Eiserman at this point and time is not a Top 10 pick…. 100% in 4 years from now he could be a 30-40 goal scorer and get 60-70 points a season and be a really good player this could 100% happen, BUT he’s going to have to go to the right team that knows how to develop players into Two way players like Montreal for example and he himself is going to have to WORK VERY HARD to reach that level in the NHL… Eiserman could 100% become a star player, But he could 100% become like Oliver Wahlstrom… We shall see but I’m not surprised. I really hope Montreal does not pick him I would rather Tij Iginla.
He's still a kid. He will develop. Too much is put on defensive play at this stage. Defensive games typically develop later. I think if he can work on his game he might be a steal in this draft looking back in a few years. Thats the fun about the draft. We dont know if #1 will be a bust or if #20 will be an all-star.

Helenius is a great hockey player and he has been 2 years in mens league and he's just 17 years old. And he's physical level is awesome for that age.

Every GM after spot 5 and Tij is still available, should be contacting the Flames and working on a trade to move down and pick up the two 1st round picks the Flames have.
Both Helenius And Brandsegg-Nygard are Yzerman's type like Crazy ad there's a possibility both would be still be there at 15
I’m taking Catton over Tij 10/10 times and it’s not close I’d take Catton before I took Lindstrom

5th OVR - Catton
Trade WPGs 1st, defensive prospect, and a roster player to get into the top 16 and draft Liam Greentree
You would pick catton over tij
Eiserman is like Caufield, he will fall to the middle of the first round and someone will be extremely happy.

Whatever pick the Devils get, i believe they will trade that pick. Devils are trying to win. Is Tij or Catton NHL ready? Buium,Parekh,Dickinson,Iginla,Carter Yak, Silayev,Demidov or Catton id be happy with but like i said i think its best if they trade the pick for a true #1 instead of going with Kahkanen or a FA

I hope Eiserman proves everyone wrong. All he did was score a goal a game and 76 points in 49 games. I like underdogs and redemption stories, so I hope whoever takes a chance on him makes everyone drafted before him look like a bad choice. There are some decent options in this draft. Not great, imo this draft is a weaker one. Kinda like 2022 I'd say with some good players but no great players. But Eiserman does confuse me a little.
He’s a very one dimensional player where that one dimension is very important. He excels moreso than all others But here are many others where he needs improvement.
Trevor Connelly is over 6"00 while only weighing 156 lbs ? Kid's built like his hockey stick.
And can beef up with a trainer...
@@oasisbeyond oh i have no doubts he will, but more than a trainer it will require extra time. Were he as young as Inginla or Eiserman that would not matter at all, but he's not so this will most likely cost him a few draft spots as some other players convey they would be ready for th big league sooner.

This is only the prospects who play in North America. The NHL has 2 lists, one for NA and one for the rest of the world. Demidov is second on the ROTW list (I think Silayev is first)
