Those mods are sick. Yas Marina Blue is the best colour for sure. Literally adds £5k to the car value and I'm not surprised.

Sick mods, steering wheel is cash. Love those LED lights ... He now needs to De Chrome the side gilles and maybe put an Akrapovic or Remus Exhaust on it then it's sorted

@@TGE You tell him Tom ... He needs to replace the exhaust itself not just the carbon tips (they do look so much better than stock though). I think Remus sounds more OEM than the Akrapovic ones do. He could even take it to Motech Performance in Wellingborough, literally where I live 🙊

Also it’s Worth mentioning as you were talking about informing insurers about a modifications. The tinted front side windows will invalidate the insurance policy if the car is involved in an accident.

Sure the app is free, but to get anything useful from it you have to pay. I was told that I get one free scan, but everything after that (clearing codes, changing car config, running subsequent scans) all requires a yearly subscription. One subscription is for the manufacturer of your current car only, or you can get one for any car (which is obviously what you'd want). I got my one free scan, saw the price they wanted for a yearly sub and said screw that and chucked it to the back of the garage never to be used again. I'll happily pay a one-time fee for all my future cars but screw subscriptions.

i recommend to set your phone to plane-mode (fly-mode) when connecting via the OBD/BlueTooth, so there is no chance for someone interrupting your connection. Better safe than sorry.

M4 for £30k is insane value for money. Make sure you get the MPE if you pull the trigger on one though.

First and most importsnt you should get is MPE. The stock exhaust is trash wayyyyy to raspy and not ina good way. With the mpe it gets a deeper tone and the resonators remove that nasty sound (once the car is warmed up). Once the car is warmed up and with MPE it sounds propppperrr. If the car is cold it still has that stock exguast rasp so keep the revs down while its cold lol.
The stock M Competition exhaust is good, too. Sounds way better than base, by the comparison I did between my M4C, and my friend's base M4
