    A whole lot less nonsense to worry about than n54. Crank hub. Honestly not sure what to believe on that. So much hype on it. If I got a M4 I would probably do stage 1 and street use only. Great episode and you put out great content.

  • @albertorobledo5843
    @albertorobledo5843 Před 3 lety +3

    I feel it man. I dont run mine at all I only take it out on the weekends and the crank hub still spun and I was forced to buy a new engine witch btw BMW wanted $35000.00 to do the job. I only had 36000 miles when it happened. I recommend everyone to look into the issue cause I wouldn't want anyone else to go through what I did.

      I dont use my m4 that much cause I have 4 other daily cars and a work van. I never race it or rev the engine or anything like that. I take good care of it and sucks that BMW won't tell us about these issues and when stuff like this happens they act like they don't know what we are talking about. Even if they didn't send out a recall notice, they should have at least sent out warnings anyone would be super happy to pay $2000.00 over $35000.00 any day

    I found your video helpful, even for my N55 M2, since most things are applicable except for the cooling (since N55's cooling isn't as good and will need to be upgraded for heavy track use) and crank hub portions (which luckily isn't as much as a concern for the N55).
