  • It's been about 9 months since I purchased my 2018 BMW M4, so I figured I'd share my ownership experience since I'm well overdue for this video. I'm pleased to say there have been so many positives of M4 ownership and not much in terms of things that I truly dislike about the car. I hope you were able to find value and take away some info from this video, and if so please make sure to smash the thumbs up button as well as subscribe to the channel for more great content!

    Had M4 for 2 years, Sold it. Stage2 with bunch of carbon stuff on the exterior. Lowering springs, it was black on black. Murdered out. For the money I agree you get tons of stuff! + more! I got the car with 43k miles- sold it with 50k miles, and yeah the DRIVETRAIN Manulfaction did show ones! but after restarting it it was fine, no crank hub mod! its not expensive to fix it. but decided to part it out and get something that will make me more happy! One thing that I hated about it the most, traction issues first and second gear it sucked- whenever I wanted to just take off. I know I could go with Slicks but they would suck in rain, exhaust note was also not my thing, I sold it and got GT-R. Love it... it's a different animal---

    Also, apparently they have issues with the factory top mount charge cooler. Even newer cars with few thousand miles start leaking randomly and it's just a bad design. Easiest way to check if it's leaking is to open the coolant reservoir for the TMIC that's up by the firewall behind the intercooler. If it's really low there's a good chance it's leaking and it leaks the coolant into intake ports down into the cylinders. I checked mine and it's fine, but ordered a aftermarket intercooler for peace of mind because I don't want it leaking into my engine lol.

I consider the older M 3-4 nice looking, but too generic. BMW took a chance with the new direction and nailed it. Not sure I would think so highly if my car was a lighter color, but back--or gray, makes it look menacing. With 550 to the crank, it backs it up. Otherwise, keep the vids coming. • @TreasuryTrader
    @TreasuryTrader Před rokem

    Gotta tune it, it need to smooth out power delivery because the stock sport plus mode is two twitchy, very easy to have the pedal move with the G forces off the line which can make it very "twitchy" like fast slow fast slow, hard describe it but the pedal is so sensitive that the bumps in the road affect your foot enough to affect either more power or mess power which translates to a twitchy start, but this is also just practice and only in the sport plus modes, in sport mode it's totally fine. So a simple few hundred dollars fixes this plus you'll get another 100 HP and 100tq so win win

I’d prefer those gas savings for BMW’s LEGENDARY “quality” issues down the line, which I intend to keep till she’s more trouble than she’s worth. Otherwise, gas aside I would have easily gone for the F83. Mine is also white on red and love the happy F33 medium.

Also I watched your video on if the comp package is worth and I have a question about that too. I do plan on modifying the car lightly such as cosmetics and maybe a exhaust. Is it worth the comp or no?

      Not sure if you ended up pullin the gun on an F82, I own a 2018 F80 comp; 100% most reliable car I've ever driven. If you need advice on whether or not to buy a comp car vs non-comp; I would say do it if you like those comp rims, or the adaptive suspension; as adaptive comes stock on the comp models. I notice the suspension everytime I drive it, feels smooth yet aggressive and VERY planted on that stock comp adaptive setup.
