The Lowa zephyr gtx mid tf has a problem with the lacing too and it is as popular with the military as that boot. But a lighter boot means you can go faster but will not last as long.
I totally agree. From using more light weight boots for a couple of years i think the less material the boot is made of, can cause trigger points where you just experience discomfort or pain. With a traditional combat /hiking boot with leather and insulation there is less chance of that. But on the other hand heavier and bulkier. Also miss the care you had to give your boots 😁
Hi. I would go with the xa forces gtx. The speed assault is a bit low on support and the sole is softish but with a really aggressive grip. I think the sole will wear out quickly on asphalt.
Good clarification! Means that the soles on these boots have been tested and certified to be slip/oil resistant, puncture-resistant (outsole), and have antistatic properties.
Love it, love it, love it!!! In this year the 100th anniversary of #CCP, thrilled to know Salomon is now owned by Anta of China #MadeInChina2025 #BeltAndRoad #BeijingOlympics2022 #OccupyMars2024
Excellent! The mids are my favorite. I have the Green ones.

How many centimeters this salomon is it from the ground to the top?
It is 16 cm or 6.3 inches from the ground to the highest point.
For a daily boot for suburban and rural environment as a police officer. Would you recommend the xa forces or the speed assaults?

Thank you
Same design in black are Gore Tex EN. Does that make any difference? Thanks
Exactly the same boot. There are no differences. Thank you for watching!
The EN designation is for puncture resistant. Without it the shoes are not rated for puncture resistance.
