Weill do. I follow you on Instagram, and I am an Associate Coach USAT. I have a handful of 12-16 kids right now, mentoring and training for Sprint Triathlon.

This really doesn't make sense to me. If you are actually landing under your center of mass you are marching in place. If you land a little in front of that you are shuffling at best. You have to step out to cover some ground. Watching any pro runner you see covering distance with each step. Their feet are not under them.

You should land very close to or under your center of mass and PUSH BACK to propel forward as if "falling" forward from your ankles. You should never land your foot contact point in front of your center of mass. That is called overstriding. Stride length is created by pushing back from your center of mass. Longer stride = greater push off. And, higher cadence helps force your landing foot under your center of mass. Increasing cadence and/or longer stride length = faster and more efficient running with lower chances of injury.
