the irony of you fighting with your own weather shenanigans with the lighting situation during the weather episode xD
agree that this isn't one of my top tier episodes but it is an important one (granted, i could probably say that about every episode lol)
can't wait for the next reaction, been really enjoying seeing you go through this series :D

A random fun fact, this is the first episode written by Luke Pearson, he's only done 2 of them in the first season, 10 and 12.

It's actually one of my favorite episodes from season 1.

I don't know about 'weaker', but I did kind of forget that this episode existed - might be best to think of this and 11 as a two parter...
As for the finale, it should come as no surprise that we'll be going to another story taken from the 'Hilda' graphic novels...

I love the look of the weather spirits! They’re so fluffy! :)

I like that this episode and many others are follow up's, of small things that get casually mentioned thought the run time. Like as you pointed out Victoria Vangale was mentioned earlier. Its a thing I noticed they do alot so its always fun to keep an eye out on things and see if they get follow ups or not.

Been enjoying these Hilda reactions! It's such a nice show, I wish more people talked about it. Something neat you might be interested in on your own time: Andy Coyle, Hilda director, has a couple horror shorts on youtube as part of an ongoing series (Don't Walk Home Alone After Dark.) I always recommend it to fans of Hilda, it's just cool to see the familiar art style in such a different context :) The Worm especially left an impression on me.
Anywho, keep it up! Looking forward to when you start getting into seasons 2 and 3, it just gets better and better.

I have seen them! Hoping we get another great one soon, I still think about The Worm sometimes.

Strongly disagree with this being 1 of the weaker ones considering Hilda's key themes of communication and respecting other's boundaries. I love how the storm problem was solved with Hilda talking to the spirits, while being caused by Victoria Van Gale trying to control them. Not only does it work as a metaphor for how we humans try to control each other and nature around us and the devastating results of that, but it also says a lot abt the alternative way of finding compromises. And I totally disagree with the statement that it was too easy to free the weather spirit child. The station literally colapsed from it and Hilda got lost who knows there. Not only is this a continuation of the already mentioned themes, but it also shows us that Hilda's ever present desire to help can really help her society and really hurt her. The duality of self-sacrifice (even a willing and not very hard one) is an interesting and important theme considering Hilda's character. I'd say this is her greatest challenge yet when it comes to danger (when it comes to emotions her greatest challenge sort of began in ep9 and hasn't been resolved). But saying all this, is there really such a thing as weak Hilda episode?
