Martha and Mayberry are canon, they're from episode 1, the pilot mostly centered around that kid they killed, possibly referenced by "Annoying kid" on the list, which is funny, cause it seems like he never crosses that one off, maybe nodding to the fact the pilot is in fact still not technically canon.
Vortex is Verosika's bodyguard, I think the only reason they had him sing is because they likely wanted Iglehart's vocals for the song, and Tex is the only character he voices that makes half way sense to be there.
