Tip that I just learned for people watching this, if one of the lights won't go in right, you can remove the grill (no tools just loosen that side) and it'll make it much easier to get an angle enough to see and get the light in position.
@@killebrew69Idk how GM expected us to get that angle. I got lucky and was able to pop the grille out a little bit. I couldnt believe how much of a difference this made though.
The best way to install the headlights is to remove the grill as this will allow the insertion of the tabs into the bulkhead with ease. Then just reinstall the grill.
Wow! O was just wondering why my lights were so high!Even if this is not my problem, it's still great info & you're awesome for taking the time to make this video, thanks a bunch! I'm gonna see if that was my issue. Will comment here to let everyone know.
Awesome video thanks, all i had to do was get top the two tabs holding the chrome to get it enough. Was wondering why they were so far away from the grille and touching the hood
TIP: First snap out the grill below your misaligned headlight (if both, just take off the complete grill) a few inches. Grasp grill from side(s)....Easy "pop" straight back. Now there's room to maneuver your headlight tabs into the slots. Replace the top clips holding the headlights securely. Realign your grill tabs, push-snap it back on. Done. S10 grills/lights are ridiculously simple. Scary, huh?
The Tahoes of that model year don’t have those tabs he shows in the video. Gaps between the grill and headlights on Tahoes are usually a result of the way the headlights have been adjusted. Heavier adjustments (to get the beams properly aligned) will usually cause a noticeable gap.

thx for the pro tip, that's why i'm here,so much easier to get the angle,it's practically impossible otherwise!

The part that goes into the slot from the headlight are they supposed to be same side or 1 longer than the other?
