Semiautomatic pistol will not fire if pressed against something, but that S&W 38 will work no matter how hard you push it into an attacker. If in a fight 5 rounds of 38+p will cause an awful belly ache
Honestly, I think the current pocket pistol market is a class of one. The Ruger LCP max: 13 shots, 15oz fully loaded, with excellent factory night sights, and deadly accurate to 20 yds in my hands. I have several uploads on the pistol. Good video man. Thanks for posting.
I like Taurus especially the g3 series but I personally can't recommend the spectrum when I rented one I could barely get through a mag without a failure maybe just a qc issue though
Nice collection I carry the spectrum ruger ec9 s and some times my Sccy cpx2 when I wear cargo pants for work I do carry my spectrum with federal hst 99 grain cycles great with it. And I did put a galloways. Captured recoil spring in it
I have that diamondback 9. Only thing I hate about it is it hurts my hand when I shoot it. Now of course I'm at the range having fun. I'm sure if I ever need to use it my adrenaline will make me not even feel it lol. But I do love it
I’m surprised you didn’t include the CZ P-10 M in this lineup, I just came from watching one of your other videos and was seriously considering it for a dedicated pocket pistol as it’s Cz reliable, slim and affordable but have also been considering expanding to other calibers such as .380 or 38 special , they have both the lcp Max and lcr revolver at my local gun shop and i like how both feel in hand although I’ve been waiting until I have the opportunity to go and test them out at another shop with a range for myself . That Diamondback also looks incredibly clean as well🔥, would you say that it handled +P ammo better than the Cz ? Thank you for any feedback
So the reason the the cz isn’t in this video is because technically it’s a single stack and not an actual pocket pistol. That’s all. Like the cz is much bigger than all of these other than the 642. But the cz is the best made firearm out of all of these, it’s built like a tank and is a great pocket carry option. It just wasn’t designed as a designated pocket pistol. But don’t sleep on the p-10m! One of the best values out
if you want a revolver, i’d recommend a 327 mag or a 32 h&r magnum. with the 327 it’s significantly more powerful than 38 spl and holds 6 instead of 5, and even with the 32 h&r it has the same if not a bit more energy than 38 spl, but you also get a 6th round and FAR less recoil than a 38 with the 32.
I could not explain to you why, but I'm more accurate with the first gen LCP than the MAX, but I love the way the MAX feels, I carry it all the time. I love it too. I just have to stop sucking, haha. I'm so curious about the spectrum.
The spectrum is actually a great little gem! And i feel you! I do like the way the max feels. Maybe you’ve owned the lcp original for so long you are just used to it?
it's gotta be an issue of being used to one, but I do notice that with my intimidatingly small man hands...wasn't up to me....I get my pinky up underneath the LCP 1st gen in a way that sorta stabilizes it, but if I use that same grip with the MAX, my pinky ends up pushing against the 12 round extended especially...I can modify my grip now that I'm playing around with it in a way I bet would improve it if I can remember, but I would have to consciously think about doing it.
I have heard mixed things about them. But I’ve heard as long as you use the right ammo and make sure that ammo runs out of the Kahr then they should be fine. I know they have like a mandatory 200 round break in period
I had a PM9 for a couple years. It was very reliable and accurate, but way bigger than any of the pocket pistols on the market, and about twice the weight. It also loved to eject rounds out of the spare magazine in the pouch or in my pocket. I sold it several years ago.
Acquired a Gen 5 MOS recently. Quality and reliable firearm. However, 15-round aftermarket mag issue is annoying. Canik, Mossberg and the SA Hellcat might be some alternatives to consider.
20 000 years ago, people were worried to be eaten by animals or killed by other wild humans when going without their speer somewhere. I am very glad that here in Switzerland we left those times behind us long ago 😊

You got me interested in the Spectrum and the Dimondback... But I just got a P938 Legion last month! No more purchases this year! Except for ammo! 👍
Love your videos! So practical and relatable. What are your thoughts on upgrading the LCP max trigger? I think there are a couple options out there.

i agree the gun is a good idea however i’ve heard some reliability issues.
He must aim 3 ft left then. Those guns are not acceptable in accuracy
Do not use the 12 round magazines for carry FYI
@@jasonmorse432 Maybe you're just not a good shooter.
@@Tjcarbon9 I only use the 12rd mags for carry.
Love the collection. Nice. 💯🙂👊👌👍🙏
Thanks man! Respect
What do you think about the smith and Wesson body guard 380? Super comfortable!
Silly question, but what pants work for something like this? I must have shallow pockets! Feels like the grip always peaks out my pocket.

Very nice carry choices! Respect. Love all those options even though my SCCY malfunctioned multiple times each mag.
@@spnfirearms I had issues with. One at first as well mine turns out was bad magazines they sent me new ones for free took. Are of my issue.
Keltec p32 is a really nice pocket gun
What rounds do you carry in that 642?
I’m in my seventh decade of life and my EDC is the original LCP in a pocket holster.

Getting into carry, the heavy trigger on revolvers is a huge selling point.
Yes agreed! Respect
The LCP 1, 1.5 and Custom model also have long revolver like DA triggers.

would you consider a khar cm9/cw9 a good option? I dont know much on khar pistols but they are slim and light.

Surprised Bodyguard 380 isn’t on your list
I already have the G26, is the G43x worth it?
Yes it is. It’s too hard for me to conceal consistently but it’s a great firearm. I just like the 26 better but both is worth it!
@@spnfirearms I have a lot of firearms. Couple 38 Snubbies, couple 9s some are G19,26,17 shield plus and more. But I'm thinking bout that g43x
Check out a Canik TP9 Elite sc it’s a direct competitor Vs glock 43x it’s optic ready 30 round oem mags for it and very accurate n reliable bro

G42 all day
The lack of Kel Tec P3AT or P32 when they were the originators of this current pocket pistol trend is weird.
Come on you didn't have clear them again
Pocket carry heaven without the Kel-Tec P32 is fubar.
ummm...moisture in his pockets ? something going on there...otherwise good video
