Thank you very much for the informative step by step video. Great job, very helpful as I just followed along and have a perfect installation in my RF 1400 as a result. I look forward to seeing more of your work. Scott
What diameter are those speaker wells in your RF-1400? I had the foam out of mine (tried to install a Cardo system, but the speakers were too big for the speaker wells), and they look smaller. My speaker wells have a fair amount of draft (taper) to them. What's the minor diameter of yours? (the small diameter at the base of the well)
So confused as why Sena has such long wires...seem to be very uncomfortable stuffing and hiding. I'd think you would feel them through the padding. How/where does it charge?
It's a universal device so they probably made the cables very long to accommodate a lot of types of helmets. It has a usb charger - just check the manuals.
@@MonoMoto there is actually an interesting highlight - earplugs and sena speakers on top, i’ve never tried such setup before.. usually had my speakers directly onto my ears :), but yea, glad to hear sena continuous to make great products!

Great video and great tips. There aren't many videos on installing speakers on this helmet. I really appreciate it.
Glad it was helpful!

Such a good video! Sena didn’t include any instructions and this helmet provided so interesting features to work around. Great job!
Thank you for the kind words !
Those IKEA scissors! Used to have so many but can't find them any longer! Thanks for the video.
heheh thanks for watching !
Thank you for this. I followed you step by step. Very much appreciated.
Glad it helped and thanks for leaving a note :)

I have no easy way to measure that with the speakers installed, but you can look up how large these speakers are on the Sena website.

@@MonoMoto Thanks for the reply
Hi,from penang malaysia.
Hi ! :)
i consider this a teaser - how is the quality of the sena unit itself :)?
Hehe 😉 sorry to tease . The sena is great sound wise with earplugs in . It’s no symphony but good sound . Does this help ?

Just tried to install the Sena 10S but did not finish it because mounting the baseplate was not working for me... very disappointing.
Com systems with a plate are always a pain to mount.
My sena 30k has some giant ass speakers.. I can't get the tabs to close on the speakers
here watch my older video from this timestamp czcams.com/video/B0A8cGUZDJY/video.html
I show how to make the speakers fit.
Can you link to the speaker set up? It’s not showing up on the video for me.
I assume you mean this part czcams.com/video/B0A8cGUZDJY/video.htmlsi=_k5aO5cE_RJNhl2h&t=310
Yes thank you. I didn’t want to do it wrong and ruin the speaker.
Wont the linear block the speakers a bit?

Nope doesn’t interfere with the speaker 🔊
..funny intro
😅 hehe guilty as charged 😀
Hey simply red...good vid but should have done a better and more professional job of hiding the cables
Any suggestions ?
