    As the "factory" video, this is very poor. Users need detail to understand the intent of the design. Like needing to route the right speaker wire over the top of the helmet since it is the FM antenna. Or, how to use the adhesive and velcro pads for mounting the speakers. Do they get foam covers or not? Very disappointing, Sena. $500 worth of equipment. $2 video.

      Jules you give Sena too much credit. I'd say more like a 2¢ video. Everybody glosses over the speaker install, but it's shameful that Sena does as badly as well. They take the easy, lazy way out and leave the use on their own.

      Sena Technologies, Inc. : Instead of thanking me for my feedback, how about letting people know that you acknowledge that this is sadly inadequate, and needs improvement. And, if you really mean it, let us know when you are going to fix it and stand behind your product.

      @@senatechnologies What you are saying is, thank you for your money, and since we already have that, we don't see the need to improve on our end. So phuck off.

    You guys should do another video. This was poorly done. I agree with all the comments concerning the placement of the speakers and the wires; they look like they were just tossed in when no reference to proper placement. It looks like you make a quality product, your video should reflect the same. Just my .02

    I had my 20S for over a year now. The install on my Sedici was easy enough. The speakers for intercom are fantastic! For music however the are 10 steps south of horrible. These speakers are to tinny sounding and virtually no base. How much will I have to spend for an upgrade?

    How well do these work with the Airframe Pro? I just got that helmet and would like to get one of these Sena's next but am concerned it won't work with the little flare at the bottom of the helmet on the Airframe Pro.

  • @AdventuroUsIRL

    My biggest question was how to install the speakers. There are several adhesive patches, but no instructions. In the video they were basically just tossed inside the helmet. This was not helpful.

    • @imaniguana
      @imaniguana Před 7 lety +3

      I did not see this in the video. There is a "Velcro Pad for Speaker" in my kit. Does this get glued to the speaker or the helmet?

    • @PasnThrou
      @PasnThrou Před 7 lety +8

      This is the problem with EVERY Sena install video- EVERYbody glosses over the speaker install. This is to be expected of the average CZcamsr but it's shameful on Sena's part. There are SEVERAL adhesive and hook and loop pads and no clue as to how they all may be used.
      Similarly, there's no explanation as to why or how each mic is suitable for just one helmet style. And in case anyone asks, I don't think you're going to fit the mic between the helmet shell and cheekpad of a Shoei helmet.

    Yay Airmada! I just got my 20S finally... I plan on running my own earbuds. Do the speakers that come with it have to be unplugged to use earbuds or could I just plug in my earbuds to the 3.5mm jack under the rubber flap on the base and it'll run audio accordingly? Do you know? Thanks for the video. I googled, "sena 20s airmada install" to make sure there weren't any silly things I'd run into.

      Hi. Please adjust the Intercom-Audio Overlay Sensitivity Level on the headset as that determines how much you need to speak into the microphone to cause the music to be reduced in the background. Thanks.

      Does this one help a little more? czcams.com/video/4dQqa-JD5so/video.html&t The velco should be in the area you need the speakers, then use the spacers if need to push the speakers closer to your ears if you have a wide helmet and they can reduce wind noise a little. There are also a foam covers to prevent the speakers from rubbing on your ears if needed. I usually play music through the speakers after and make sure they are centered on my ears and sound equal. It may take little movements to make them perfectly centered on each ear, but that's up to you and how they sound best. Hope that helps. -Alyssa

    This is my opinion about Sena 20S after 4 months riding with it.
    The voice recognition is very poor, sometimes you find yourself screaming to the microphone and there is no recognition. Another aspect is if you are for a while without giving any instruction the "lady" simply dies, you need to tap the device so she can wakes up again. Why do you say this has a radio incorporated!? It's very hard to get a frequency in a good sound, it's simply ridiculous even with the national radios where you can hear them everywhere. Weather wise the device is not protected against heavy rain, uncomfortable noisy interferences are expected during these periods.
    The only thing good on it is the communication, that one is fine and you can hear it well despite the quality of sound is lower than a simple mobile phone headphones.
    For the price of the device the quality should be much better.
