I have a 1937 Johnson LT37 and needing the same two items you stated, ... the handle and the spark plug cover. Would you please tell me where you purchased these from? I would be most grateful if you did. Thanks
This must only be for nostalga, certainly is not for fuel economy ,ease of use , reliability and the environment. There is always people that likes old things,l guess. Personally don't understand the attraction.
A new 15 hp is $3,000 in the US. The 1950s used are ~$150 and parts are available. They run just as good when dialed in, and the 2 stroke weigh less than modern motors. Certainly burn dirtier exhaust but the fuel cost is not bad on such a low hp motor. Cheap and replaceable is what I like. I do bring a backup motor just in case something doesn’t work right when I go out
If you dont understand the attraction why click on the video. I clicked on it because vintage outboards intetest me. Sounds like you prefer modern plastic shit from China.
Omg cool boat and hat
Glad you're back!
