Einstein Parrot is a very talkative African Grey Parrot! He lives with us in our home in Texas and was hatched on June 15, 1997. Einstein is a silly, smart, and popular parrot who loves to talk and entertain! He is famous for his impression of Matthew McConaughey, ( • Einstein thinks Matthe... ) NOT the "Einstein" that was featured on the TV show Animal Planet. He likes to talk on various "parrot approved areas" in our home, such as the kitchen drawer, the shower, kitchen chairs, napkin holders, and of course his play perches! Einstein has brought much joy to our lives, but training and living with a parrot requires time, patience, and sacrifice.

That's so cute and sweet! But now I'm also confused. I thought Einstein was/is a boy. In the description, Einstein is described as a "he", but in the video, Jeff says "good girl" when Einstein shakes. Is Einstein a boy or a girl? Lol

@@einsteinparrot easy mistake. My brother had a pet rat that was supposed to be a boy (per the pet store) but not long after having "him" home, he found himself with 8 baby rats.

Lynn Ashley Similar thing happened when I was little. Parents brought home a male bunny according to pet shop. 2 weeks later, 15 kittens appeared 😍

Cute . Looks like Einstein started lifting his foot like a dog wags it's tail .. he wanted to be lifted as soon as Jeff was seen or sensed.
A parrot doesn't lift their leg to just anyone. He communicates that pretty well.
When Einstein put her little foot up for Jeff to pick her up that was the most precious thing !!! He must really miss you and Jeff when you are gone away and come back. You can tell Einstein is very well taken care of and loved!! You guys are soooo patient with Einstein !!! Keep making more videos Einstein we love them and you!!!

I love that perch arrangement! I have one that came with one of my rescues. It is pretty massive and I had to really add a lot to it to make it interesting. Would love to find a better sized branch or small dead tree for another.. more portable like yours.

Einstein is a good girl! Look at how she nibbles Jeff's eyelids with that super strong beak that could cut a finger off! I love African Grey's. They are truly the best talkers and most gentle of the talking birds.

Aww, this was precious! He acts so human sometimes, it's endearing! Those kisses and hugs are just what you need after a long road trip. So unusual for a bird to act that way. He's a special little guy. I just want you both to know that Einstein is literally therapy for me. When I'm feeling down I put on an Einstein video and it changes my mood. Thank you for sharing him. I feel like you all are family. ❤
THIA IS ABSOLUTELY PRESIOUS! I remember my Angel acting like this when i had a 2wk hospital stay. She was so happy to see me! I missed her terribly also. I miss her terribly now, still...after 2 yrs. She passed away in Oct 2015.

Aw, she is so sweet, and so intelligent. I love parrots, and hope to one day own one like Einstein when I'm ready. I'll always be a bird owning kind of gal. My little jenday conure, Ink, passed away not too long ago. It broke my heart. Birds become family and such a massive part of your life. I'm glad to see her with two such loving owners, and with such a wide and clean vocabulary. I love hearing her say, "God bless you." You guys did a great job with her.
