- Bibi the Bird takes a road trip and stops by the nest in Texas for a visit. Everyone had a great time together and Einstein even steals a beakie kiss!

Einstein Parrot is a very talkative African Grey Parrot! He lives with us in our home in Texas and was hatched on June 15, 1997. Einstein is a silly, smart, and popular parrot who loves to talk and entertain! He is famous for his impression of Matthew McConaughey, ( • Einstein thinks Matthe... ) NOT the "Einstein" that was featured on the TV show Animal Planet. He likes to talk on various "parrot approved areas" in our home, such as the kitchen drawer, the shower, kitchen chairs, napkin holders, and of course his play perches! Einstein has brought much joy to our lives, but training and living with a parrot requires time, patience, and sacrifice.

Don't think it's a boring existence. He's allowed to come out of the cage, he practically owns the kitchen sink and counter, and shower. In one video he keeps saying weeeeee, they exercise him. He's not existing under deplorable conditions

do they ever actually get the food into their tummies? seems they drop like 95% of it.
They drop some but most of what you see falling is the shells of the nuts and seeds. My bird loves to shell sunflower seeds and eats all of the middle while just dropping the shell pieces.
Birds being sloppy is an important part of the propagation and renewal of nature, after all plants make fruits tasty to creatures for a reason.
African grays have such gorgeous eyes. Love them both ❤

Einstein apparently likes Bibi, his stance and behavior is very dominating, but not agressive, which means he is basically showing off, apparently this intimidates Bibi a bit which is "good" considering she "accepts" his dominating behavior, meaning they wont be fighting anytime soon.
I wonder whats next...

So fun to see some of my favorite parrots together. Einstein was so sweet to allow the intrusion on his space by another parrot.
They both did baby flaps, the kind birds do as babies when they see their parent and want food. One did it while asking for berries.
It is always a joy to watch Einstein. Thank you so much for sharing her with us. This is fun to see her with Bibi - they do look like twins! Like everyone else, I would love to have a parrot, but I have learned from your site and all that you shared that I don't have the right environment or time to do that. So Einstein will have to be my "step-parrot" ... I sat one night and watched all her videos for hours. It was a perfect end to a very stressful day. Wishing you all much success and happiness in the new year.

Meaning they couldn't stop watching. Maybe use your head before telling someone how rude they are. It's like they said hey break a leg out there, and you were like how dare you threaten me?

You are welcome to come over and get a grammar lesson anytime. Clearly you lack education. Also, look up sarcasm. There was no sarcasm used. when I was about nine years old, I had a parrot that can imitate my father whistle a song. He knows how to call out names of most of my family members, but not mine. He likes to eat sunflower seeds. That was a good memory.

Just a pleasure to watch. I had a yellow crested amazon who lived to 55. When he died and flew up to that rain forest in the sky, I had 36 people in my garden at his burial, such was the love and joy he brought to so many. Once a parrot owner, always a parrot owner.

Definitely. Most Amazons I've heard have a louder almost obnoxious kid quality to their voices, albeit endearing. Greys tend to match the voice or noise with uncanny accuracy. I've bird-sat for a Grey before who coughed and cleared his throat like the old man in his home, and in the same breath spoke in his lady's sweet voice.

mein graupapgei wußte die meiste zeit genau was er sagte.er sprach auch mit englischen nachbarn englisch und mit spanischen spanisch.er wußte das genau zu unterscheiden.
Mit den anderen tieren hund und katzen spielte er und verständigte sich in deren sprache.
er hatte viel freiheit und wollte niemals von uns weg.er wurde uns leider gestohlen.ich bin zutiefst traurig.und hoffe trotzdem Jocki geht es irgenwo gut.er war absolut ein familienmitglied

My Pooka turned 11 this past February and although he's scary smart he doesn't talk much, nor can I get him to do it in response. He will laugh when we laugh or sometimes when I call out to him he will respond with "What do you WAAANT???" but the funniest thing he does is when he feels a guest has outstayed their welcome he starts saying "Buh-bye...buh BYE.." and waving his foot...
