    Tet didn't exist before this moment per se. While yes there are an infinite amount of gods in the pool, only a limited amount of them can be Materialized into Incarnated forms, where they require X amount of Believers & a few other criteria based around their core concept to be met to Materialize. So since Tet only has Riku & perhaps the Ex-Machina to draw Believers from, normally it wouldn't be enough, but since Riku has been deemed the Strongest by the Planet, and is so close to the Suniaster, it basically amplifies this effect for it to be enough. While not confirmed, we fans can presume that winning the greatest game ever is the 1 extra requirement needed to Materialize the God of Games from its conceptual core.

    Fun fact for non-novel readers
    The Stalemartyr replicated of 72.8% of the output of 18 Aka Si Anse, 12 E-Bomb, 8 Far Cry and Artosh's Heaven Strike combined.
    And yes, in the novel, there was a 4th race in the mix of the final battle being the dragonia and their strongest attack being Far Cry
    Far Cry is the attack that the dragon used at the start of the movie. It’s also what schwi copied and renamed into Enderpokryphon(it’s the nuke Schwi dropped on jibril) although the copy only has 10% or less of the original’s power

  • @ExusiaiClips
    @ExusiaiClips Před 10 měsíci +16

    The craziest thing is that Tet is actually the one that killed Riku in the end. Riku didn't just die of his injuries finally getting to him. At some point in the year long plan to end the war, many of the "ghosts," including Riku, gave blood to Dhampirs (basically vampires), which gives the person losing the blood a curse. This curse makes sunlight fatal for them, just like vampires. Nobody knew about this though, since the sun has been blocked by the spirit ashes for 20,000+ years. When Tet became God, the first thing he did was clear the sky of these ashes, revealing the sun. When the sun came out, it killed Riku almost immediately

    • @Nyarlathotep_Flagg
      @Nyarlathotep_Flagg Před 8 měsíci +2

      Meh, man was dying anyways. And had already lost most everything. And he seems to have been reincarnated, and returned to a better version of his world so... Pretty fair deal I'd say. Especially with him sort of giving his ppl what he had always promised them, even if he didn't believe he could ever achieve it.

    • @ExusiaiClips
      @ExusiaiClips Před 8 měsíci +3

      @@Nyarlathotep_Flagg LN SPOILERS AHEAD: I mean, one of the most important parts of his character is that he literally never wins. He lost again even right at the end. His goal was to win the war and claim the suniaster without a single sacrifice. Instead, he sacrificed the single most important person to him, he was unable to claim the suniaster, and he died. Also, it is unlikely that he was reincarnated. Reincarnatin has been stated to be impossible by Jibril (and possibly Tet, I can't remember) in their world (it's possible that that doesn't include other worlds, but that is kind of a stretch. Sora also disproved the idea that he was the reincarnation of Riku in volume 9 to the point that the remaining ex machina abandoned the idea of it. Tet made Sora and Riku seem more similar than they actually were (he admitted this to Izuna after telling the story), so it's unclear what resemblances they share. Their personalities and way of thinking were completely different from each other, which pretty much only leaves physical appearance and intelligence as possible similarities. I'm not completely discounting the idea of reincarnation though. The ex machinas analyzed Sora and claimed that there was a 96.23% match between Sora and Riku. It's unclear what they were analyzing, possibly the soul, or energy that they produce, but they never said. It's safe to say that it was not physical appearance (they actually don't look that similar in the light novel, and appearance would be one of the main things that Tet would make up to make Riku seem like Sora). These are the same machines that decided that Sora's proof that he was not a reincarnation of Riku was more significant and concrete than their 96.23% certainty, which is why I don't believe that he is the reincarnation of Riku.

    • @Nyarlathotep_Flagg
      @Nyarlathotep_Flagg Před 8 měsíci +1

      @@ExusiaiClips I have read it(although as I recall the full story was never finished(Sora and Shiro's not Tet's flashback)).
      I frankly don't care what the machines or Sora think. In my book he's a reincarnation of Riku every time. The only difference between the two, is the way they grew up really...
      Reincarnation never means they're born with exactly the same body, that's actually utterly counter-intuitive - Not at all how reincarnation is typically described. That would be "doppelganger."
      Main thing I recall Tet saying about it all(his opinion etc), was that Sora and Shiro were much worse players on the overall than Riku and Schwei

    • @ExusiaiClips
      @ExusiaiClips Před 8 měsíci

      @@Nyarlathotep_Flagg he said that Sora and Shiro were far better actually. I didn’t mean that Sora and Riku should look the same if he is a reincarnation, I guess I could have worded that better. Obviously, since it hasn’t been confirmed or denied by the author, it’s completely up to what you believe. I was just trying to say that it wasn’t a concrete fact, but yeah, I’m pretty on the fence for if he’s a reincarnation or not

    • @ExusiaiClips
      @ExusiaiClips Před 6 měsíci

      @@user-mn9bq2si7z Yeah, you're right about how he died, it was not due to the curse of the dhampirs, but you're wrong about Tet calling Riku and Schwi better than blank. The best Riku could manage was a stalemate against Tet, but Blank beat him on their first attempt. Riku never actually managed to win at anything in the entire story. It was just losing every single time, except for the end when he got a stalemate against Tet. Blank always wins, and has only ever experienced a single loss, and that was because they intentionally lost. Here's the quote of Tet calling Blank superior: "those two who’d inspired him to create this world were indeed like “ ”-but somewhat. For they, compared to Sora
      and Shiro-the ones whose names spelled Blank were far stronger."
      The part you're referring to about blank giving up is not exactly accurate. The quote actually is immediately after the previous quote, with no gap in between: "the ones whose names spelled Blank were far stronger. After all, “ ” had turned their backs on that challenge, whereas those two had played the game with no rules-reality and pulled off a stalemate." Turning your back on a challenge and giving up are different. He also said this immediately after calling Blank superior, so it obviously is not an attempt to say that Riku and Schwi are better. That's just a misinterpretation. It could be saying that not playing at all is the better choice since winning is impossible, so Blank showed their superiority by not participating in an impossible game, whereas Riku and Schwi had never even thought of that option. That's just a possible interpretation to show that there are multiple possible meanings

    The great war is between the gods and their creations, the humans have no stake in it nor can they benefit, theyre just victims really. The god of war, Artosh, creator of the flugel, grows stronger as the war reaches its climax and the world becomes engulfed by war which is why he decided to act at the height of his strength - war makes him stronger as it is his dominion. Riku on the otherhand, treats this whole thing as a game (and seems to be the only one that believes Tet exists) which gives Tet his power to exist atleast. As the war reaches its end, Tet takes center stage and takes Riku's offering since he cant hold the Suniaster - becoming the one true god - thus ending the war and ushering in the game, establishing the 10 pledges with it. "For this day, today, the world hath changed. Now, let the games continue!" - Tet. Steph, Fiel, Shiro and Sora all look the same with Couronne, Think, Riku and Schwi. I dont follow the light novel really so i can only assume their reincarnations (granted jibril is the same cuz she lives long)(this might be true for the Shrine Priestess of the Warbeast too since we see her at the ending scene same as she looks in the anime). 6000 years later after the war ended, Tet finds Shiro and Sora and brings them into this world to 'continue their game' or 'play another game' as Riku challenged Tet at the end of his life when he finally sees Tet. "Next time I'll show you. Schwi and I... together, for sure." - Riku to Tet.

      Yeah, he was way less condescending in the LN, treating the weakest as the fated enemy of the strongest, and simply confronted him as only the strong can do, honestly announcing his full blown attack, knowing that his opponent is doing exact oposite and is sheming behind the scenes and preparing exactly for his strike.
