The mirage f1 c turn rate got buffed and the cas mirage 2000 recieved an amazing gun pod.
is the F1C good now? or did they just increase the turn rate by 0.5?

The 600rds in the gun pod is insane, I prefer the looks of the 2000D as well. What sucks is that the 2000D-R1 never had a gun pod IRL because that's exactly why the R2 was put into service

Please have a look at any of the mirage F1C variants again as they changed the flight model and increased the DEFA gun speed. I think it feels much better now than the boat it was.

The ejection seats not working is probably a bug because in the dev server it had the full animation, i think it only works if you still have control after getting shot down and then you j out.
they look good when you're looking at someone else bailing out, but when you do you get it buggy
Last thing that needs to be fixed right now.
It makes sense cause when the pilots dies he can’t j out 😂 but when the jet is down but the pilot isn’t he can eject

I've actually been loving this plane lately. Idk if people just don't know about it and don't know how to fight it but it's fun to bait people into a turn and then just blast out to create some room while they fight to gain back their energy. If you bait them into them losing their energy and you go up high where they can't pitch up to get you, you can win every time. Plus I got into a vtol dog fight with a harrier and my teammates thought it was hilarious.
Might sound dumb but the Kurnass 2000 and Mirage 2000D might be worth looking at, the gun pod I heard is decent and the Kurnass 2000 is now the top Phantom (Supposedly). Some people say the F-1C was buffed but with the 530Fs it’s not even worth looking at imo.

Kurnass 2000 is an EJ Kai with agile eagle and full ground strike package. It is most assuredly the top Phantom atm.

On the dev server, the Yak-141 was able to use its afterburner while in VTOL mode. Wonder if it can still do that.

Just checked the mig-29 and it has radar gun sight. Thank god. Tried the Tomcat but sadly it doesnt have any radar gun sight. Pretty sure they had them

When your pilot dies or even if he doesn't and your plane gets damaged in a way the game kicks you outta it instantly then it cuts to somebody elses dude in a parachute for some reason
honestly vapor cones are such a big issue for near top tier where mach is being straddled all game

Gimmicks gotta gimmick.
I noticed the annoying Mach cloud just kind of sits there blocking your view saying, "Hey! Look at how cool this graphics effect is! Aren't you impressed? You don't need to see anything in front of you. Just look at this cool cloud!"
It seriously needs to be more subtle, quicker, and/or an option in the graphics settings.
what's amusing is that the F-35 was pretty much a case of copying homework without making it too obvious, this is because the Yak-141 project was cancelled and lockheed-martin basically legally copied (and significantly improved) the design. So in a way, whilst this aircraft never got past prototyping, it lives on through the development of the lockheed-martin super-jet
It is fun to use in sim battles and hover behind a mountain and enemy have bad day finding you

Wish War Thunder could go back to the way it use to be when fighting certain nations cause right now its either your fighting Mig-29 or Mig-29 and or Phantoms and or F-16 basically but just adding the same planes to each nation its just really not that fun anymore having to fight the same Jets EVERY time.

The radar gunsight is great. Enemy is maneuvering? Just don't lock them up. Enemy is flying straight? Lock them up and kill them with zero effort in 2 seconds. Don't see any reason to turn it off tbh.
I want a hotkey to toggle it like ballistic computer. that's all I'm asking for - it is terrible in most cases, but comes in clutch in some other situations.

HE seems really messed up right now, I have been hitting people with missiles and being hit with missiles that quite frankly should not have been survivable. Especially small warheads like the R60 it's about a one in four or one in five chance to survive the initial hit.

at 10:30 when the aim54 explodes behind you, is it even realistically possible to be hit by the splash damage when going MACH 1? I thought explosions travel at the speed of sound.
Shrapnel can be propelled to supersonic speeds. The pressure wave itself will move at the speed of sound however.
As said the pressure wave is what stays at or under the speed of sound, the shrapnel have no such limitations. Shrapnel ain't give a fuck.
By that logic, the maximum speed for any bullet would be Mach 1.
I just had it happened to me ingame, aa blew up behind me going Mach 1 and took out 1 engine in my F4e
explosions them selves can surpass way way past mach 1, like that guy said about bullets, the bullets max speed depends on the speed of the explosion which can surpas way past mach some up to mach 6 or higher.

You see nobody is talking about how this thing can match F-16s in a two circle if you use your afterburner VTOL at 50% where it’s angled down. It’s UNGODLY, if you think you’re losing the turnfight. At that point go 50% VTOL and keep afterburner on. It’s magic
Only works in a complete 1v1 scenario, as otherwise anyone within a 10 km radius is going to rush right over to shoot down the wannabe helicopter going 200 kph. Not to mention that 16v16 matches now devolve into even messier furballs than the pre-patch small maps, making 1v1s even rarer.

But that’s any time you’re slow not just helicopter mode, good thing is however if you manage to slap your opponent in VTOL fast enough you can get ALL your energy back almost instantly. Because your acceleration is out of this world.
@@Klaus_Klavier That's an "if" - assuming the enemy sees what you're doing, they're going to extend away, leading you to spend time to switch back to straight flying (and if you've already bled speed past the normal stalling point, that's going to take a while), prolonging the engagement. Like I said, it works, but it's highly situational, much more so than even regular low speed dogfighting, which is dangerous as it is.
@@lunarcultist6214 it’s better than you think, they’d actually lose in a runaway from this thing believe it or not, you’d catch their ass until you’ve felt the acceleration of this thing you won’t really know what I mean. It’s not something anyone can just “extend away from” they could try but this thing WILL catch them up to mach 1 so in the long run they can try to out pace you, but good luck because you’ll run them down faster than they can run away and at that point when the shells start zipping by they go into a panic climb and that is exactly what you want in this thing because this thing will fly vertical and GAIN speed it’s insane T/W especially after missiles are gone and fuel is getting low it’s a fat GG I’d almost GUESS it’s about a 1.5 T/W clean wing and low fuel.

F-35 will play similar in terms of speed as it can only go supersonic for a minute maximum
no just no first of all thats the b variant and also its a temp issue, and its been fixed already, it was there because there was worry that there were spots on the aircraft that could create hot spots. tho the engine also has overheating issues they are not the biggest of problems. especialy for warthunder.

If you lock the target you will get a lead indicator. With done of the planes in this update. Cockpit and in 3rd person
Does this only happen with more modern planes with radar? Is it a specific part of some radars?
@@gavinlightfoot5521 It’s a new feature that they’ve only put on a few aircraft so far, most likely to get feedback regarding how it’s been implemented. As far as I recall, most tier 8s and some of the endgame Phantoms/Viggens/etc have been given a radar gunsight, likely with more to come in the future like the custom loadouts that have been getting added to planes in batches.
@@PrinceRapopy nice, though I've found that on console the third person gun cross hair behaves like a gyro sight and lags behind where you are actually aiming. I think it has to do with this new aiming system and I hope they fix it soon

After the update i played some air rb with my props. (I'm a ps4 user) and I noticed that the crosshair would not synchronize with my mouse aim. I think the rudder was messing it up . Am i the only one ?

Might be that your “gyro gun sight” setting got turned on when it was added, just turn it off in options there’s no point for it

The bf 110 were nerfed in some point don't know when, because they climb like shit, and turn like bricks, the bf110 never was awesome but now it feels just horrible to fly.
