i think what gets me most is how i can’t talk about it to anyone anymore. i’ve just said it too many times, and i feel like it’s a bother. there are times where i actually think i’m doing okay, until i realize that i had mentioned their name in a conversation once again. each time i realize it, it’s like a piece of me falls away. yes, losing people is normal and it sucks. but when you lose someone you deeply love and care for, it’s different. and people ask why i haven’t moved on. maybe it’s because of all those “i love yous’,” and the “it’s okay, at least i have you,” just. they couldn’t be any more right about how you don’t know what you have until it’s gone away. i think what destroys someone the most is... that little bit of hope you have left. it’s that hope that’s slowly destroying you.

I think about him every morning, every night, every day and now it’s more than a crush. I remember the first time we locked eyes something “clicked” in my brain. I had never seen him before and I couldn’t connected him to my past, but there was something about him that made it seem like we knew each other right away. I think about him every morning, every night, every day and now it’s more than a crush. You could say I’m stupid for feeling this way even if I don’t know him that well and it hurts because I feel so much but I try burying my feeling as I know we aren’t allowed to be together and shouldn’t. I love him. His humour, his personality, his little looks at me sometimes that give me hope. I wonder sometimes what goes through his head. Does he know my feelings, does he feel anything? I read so many stories or comments about people and their man/girl they love or crush on and I feel that pain of not knowing or not having your love reciprocated. In the end, although true love is love two ways (reciprocated by both) I still have a strong sense of longing to feel his touch or talk to him. It’s even worse when you see them everyday. And sometimes I see signs of him liking me. But in the end, it can’t be.
When I first saw him I didn’t think much of it. But when I heard his laugh, saw his true smile, when I looked into his eyes I saw more than happiness. I saw the pain he endured, I saw the love he shows, I saw everything that he can’t see in himself. I love him and I want to say it but I’m scared to. Why?
