I have my dad in my life i mean YM parents divorced when i was 2 but i went to my dad's this past summer and he started getting drunk more often so every night he would act out and yell at us and throw stuff and IG idk if i call that a good father anymore..

My dad has always been emotionally unavailable and has always had explosive anger. I grew up poor, not enough that I was aware because there was always food on the table for me, though I had very little appetite. I honestly wish I grew up without him. I live in fear. He slams doors and breaks cabinets and even the counters. He’s broken his bones from hitting walls and doors because he was angry at me. One of the times I was a toddler and he broke his hand and the counter. I hate him, it’s not his fault that he’s like this but he doesn’t try to get help.
