HOW TO: Remove Porsche 991.2 GT3 Headlights & Bumper

  • This is the first video from out HOW TO series.
    How to remove headlights from a 991.2 GT3 - it used to be super easy with Porsches and the lights popped out with a single turn, but it's not longer the case and you have to remove/ release the bumper.
    It's a very easy job, but can be a bit frustrating if you don't know how.

    Thanks for the video. I often work on Porsche’s. I was disappointed to see the change in headlight removal. The original release mech is still all there. It seems to bind up when trying to release the lamp tho. I’ll investigate further when I’m not so behind on the job that is now taking longer due to a design change lol
    Thanks again for the vid. It really helped me out. Oh and those two hoses down low for the inflatable chin spoiler. Watch out for those !!

    I guess making them harder to remove makes them less prone to theft, but man they had such an elegant design.

    Why on earth would they make it this hard when it used to be simply a tool you'd stick through from the frunk, one click and they'd come out...
