    My favorite dubbing country ever. Swedish voices are always well casted and they never fail to me.
    I love the extracts you put, and especially Mimmi Sanden's one because I really struggle with finding recordings of her.
    I also think Wiktoria Johansson is an amazing Moana, especially because of her voice, her vocal master and the way she interprets Moana which is subtle and smart. In "How Far I'll Go - Reprise" she's so emotional and I'm so proud of her, I really feel her fear and her courage at the same time, that's gorgeous!

      Jaisa Josh I'm glad you enjoyed the video :) all the videos on CZcams of Mimmi are unfortunately several years old :/ I'd love to see a newer video of her singing ^^

    Anna-Lotta was in a soul band? Wow; with a voice so operatic I find that kind of a weird combination lmao...
    Sanna Nielsen easily was one of the best vocalists in this list; she nailed Alice & her voice matured like a fine wine over the years! She deserves to have a comeback in disney dubbing!
    And although it's a very cliche fact now, Sissel's name almost synonymously goes with Titanic and I thought it'd be mentioned here haha.
    Also; I'm not sure how come nobody knows this; but Helene now goes with the surname Kaufman (not sure why, but her website and facebook clearly state it, just fyi).
    The video is quite beautifully edited and of course, the singers from Swedish Princess repertoire are all quite good! Great video and I await the male voices one.

      Sanna Nielsen is an amazing singer! I wish she would return to dub some more characters.
      And I know Helene has changed her last name, but since everyone knows her as Lundström I didn't think it would be wise to change it :)
      I'm glad you enjoyed it ^^

    Fun fact: sissel kyrkjebo is also doing the well known hymn in Titanic and are singing in elvish in lord of the rings: the fellowship of the ring.

    this made me kinda emotional lmao. oh brigitta! she's kinda like the cryptid of swedish princess voices. i didn't know she was based in stockholm, makes me want find her and tell her how much i love her aurora. the part about sofia being popular in china feels so random lol, i had no idea. this vid made me realize how fond i am of myrra, she's never been one of my absolute faves but goddamnit, i have so much respect for her as a voice actress and she's kinda like the Main Bitch of swedish dubbing, honestly so iconic! gunilla as thumbelina is prob one of my absolute favorite dubbing casts ever, she sounds so genuinely emotional in the songs that my heart seizes everytime i hear it. her acting in the movie is phenomenal too. oh my goood i remember sucker for love, it was one of my faves that year, honestly so good n underrated. molly's voice makes me bust a nut everytime i hear it tbh. also holy shit it always makes me feel so weird whenever i remember that i watched that hsm stage play back in 2008, but ofc i had no idea who annika was back then.
    i know it sounds dumb but this vid makes me feel weirdly patriotic n proud, like bitch we're rlly out here producing these solid dubs! tack så mkt för denna videon! ser jävligt mkt fram emot den manliga versionen alltså

    TATIANA MIN ÄNGEL Her I-know-I'll-Meet-You-Someday teen song sung as an old lady...toooo damn cute. I adore Alice so much as Cinderella but I wish we had preserved content of Tatiana being Cindrella. That old Alice has like...a retro accent doesn't she? Brigitta sounds nice pitched down a bit. I always hear her higher and she sounds shrill. I still listen to Helga Natt every Christmas. That sofia clip is next level 80s LOVE. SHaron is like...kinda the Swedish Gihan el Nasser. Helen

    • @FeliciaGoldfire
      @FeliciaGoldfire  Před 7 lety

      Well, there is that one Cinderella storybook recording where you can hear her singing A dream is a wish your heart makes and So this is love, so at least there's something :) And yeah, the old Alice sounds very old fashioned. It's weird how different people spoke on television back then. It's this really stilted posh accent that you hear in old movies.
