Iâm dealing with JJK through the school that Iâm attending. They arenât hands on how youâre talking about! Iâm a bit jealous! Iâm confused on so much that Iâll need help understanding. They also only gave me general knowledge to study but didnât give me air breaks and combination to study*
Na bro they werenât hands on at the school at all either, it was pretty much fend for yourself but they did show you though they just donât hold your hand through it. JJK sent you 160 Driving Academy right? But just focus on studying and memorizing the break test & pre trip. Good luck any other advice I can give just lmk Iâll be glad to help

@@JayIsue Itâs tough in the begging but the more you go over it the more muscle memory you will develop. Try this, use a voice recorder and record yourself doing the pre trip/brake test and play it in some headphones while you work, workout, even while you sleep and you will start memorize it, thatâs what I did for the pre trip and it helped to the point I never used the paper to study afterwards. trucking is trash except if u can get a local gig
I drive local I canât see myself going over the road at-least not yet. But Iâve seen truckers who are happy trucking and some who hate it everyone has a different experience/opinion.
You are only allowed to drive for Amazon, you can't book loads on your own?
If you have your own truck you can book loads on your own, but I am not a owner operator I recently got my CDL so Iâm a new company driver, but once I get my experience in Iâll be moving on from Amazon.

Is it a 9-5 school days?
In Massachusetts and it was 8-4pm Mon-Fri. 1 week classroom via online and 3 weeks in the yard. It was a process that took forever but I made it!

How long do we have to stay with the company before we can leave ?
@@Jayhamilton1 Each company is different, even with Amazon it can be different. Some 6 months, 9 months, 12 months even 24 months. All depends on the contract.
Also look into wioa grant. Thats what i did & currently in school right now.
