    You ain’t lying 🤣, had a pallet fall over in the truck yesterday at my last stop at that. & it was full of 6packs & it was currently the hottest part of the day 🤣

      It really be like that my last stop also fell lol. I had two stops and three pallets left. So I put all three on the right side, strapped them down and put the jack under. Somehow the pallet for the last stop fell. My immediate reaction “you’ve got to be kidding me”? 🤦🏾‍♂️

    Drink, frozen food and Dollar General are the worst driving jobs you can get. But do what you gotta do.

    Dang I love you’re content. I do Pepsi videos too. You inspiring me to get back to the videos but it’s a sacrifice of time pulling out the camera 🤣

      Certainly, recording on the go isn’t easy. Especially when you have a long day ahead of you. Honestly, I didn’t have very big plans for this channel. My audience made me have to change that mindset. If you can find the time it’d be great to keep your channel going. CZcams and trucking seem to go hand in hand. Sort of like a diary of your progression or archive of information. Thank you and I wish you all the best on your journey

    If you think that your job is difficult, start pulling a Dollar General trailer.

      You deliver to the Dollar General stores?
      If so, I can’t see why you would complain about Pepsi.

    Don’t know how this came across my feed but excellent work. When I was 1-2 years out of high school (05/06), guy down the street got a job for Pepsi. He would make like $500 a week, full time. At the time (Central California), this was a great job. Most of our jobs were part time fast food, or seasonal farm work. No lying, I was jealous this dude had a “good” job, while I was a broke college kid. Dude didn’t last very long though, he went to Coke after a year or so and then to beer delivery. Makes sense why he didn’t last too long.

    Welcome to local trucking. All of these are preventable issues. Pre Trip your truck and trailer. I check all my equipment before I leave. If it’s loaded too high tell the warehouse manager

      You’re absolutely right that should be the proper avenue. Unfortunately, our location hasn’t quite worked out the kinks yet. In a perfect world everyone would and should do what they’re supposed to. In reality that usually not the case. The expectation many of the time for the drivers is to simply deal with it. Imagine what would happen if everyday drivers were hitting the docks at the warehouse to have them fix improperly loaded trailers. The delays would be substantial not even factoring everything else like mechanical or equipment issues. Like I said this would be the proper response but usually not the immediate one. The managers are more likely to patch the problem than fix it or you’ll just have to deal with it throughout the day. This is all due to time constraints. The drivers have the least time to waste so everything should be in order prior to our arrival. So when problems arise the default is usually the fastest not the best solution. Overtime this just degrades the work environment. Which is why I say make the job work for you not just you working for them. All these issues are above our pay grades. The company has no soul but you do. Secure your wellbeing

    Would have a manual jack on standby if what I had when I use to have my truck everything being electric will cause problems

      That’s a great question. Honestly I’m not sure. This whole year has been pretty spontaneous. Not sure where life will take me “literally”. I’m thinking of moving closer back home. Although that’s easier said than done at this point. There’s a lot of possibilities. Y’all gone have to find out with me…

    You get paid hourly? Why complain? Just do the job, if you get complaints from higher ups, then tell THEM about discrepancies

    You hate your job so much you can’t even move on from it, is actually pretty sad

    • @LS2U
      @LS2U  Před 21 dnem

      Can’t and won’t are not the same thing. Just because you could do something doesn’t mean you should. This is real world logic where your feelings shouldn’t always dictate your actions. Also, it’s content not simply some complaint. You hold on to things that are valuable till they no longer serve a purpose. What adult in their right mind would jeopardize their financial security for reasons so petty.
