- When NFL Films approached RTI (Record Technology Incorporated, Camarillo, CA) to shoot some pressing plant footage, RTI owner Don MacIinnis had no idea for what the league might want the images.
He could hardly believe his eyes when he saw vinyl records being used as a metaphor for "football masterpiece perfection" in NFL playoff game promos shown during the divisional playoffs. Would be great if one or more of these were shown during The Super Bowl!

The amount of dislikes says it all.
I love that they feature both older and newer artists.
Sports bros getting into vinyl are THE WORST!
I’m shocked by the hatred for football in this comment section. Is it alright if I like both records and football?
This isn’t about either. It’s about celebrities and marketing.
Omg. Being a packer fan and watching NFL films at the packer hall of fame. Wow that was fascinating thanks for adding to my knowledge
Absolutely cool!
Using RTI as a metaphor for their stupid NFL sport world which lives in la la land.
I’m confused. It seemed like it wanted to be a cool music documentary, but they kept interrupting it with people wearing body armor of some kind...
Michael were are you? You have no feature for 3 months now.
Woah this is so cool
Cool is a disease.
What was this video about? You lost me Mike. Football and records? I don't see the connection.
Read the darn description.
Read it, didn't make much damn sense, stupid!
@@vincefelix2144 it makes sense. Michael is showing us what the NFL created with the footage provided to them by RTI. Not every video has to be a pressing shootout or vinyl recommendation
A quote from Rudy Van Gelder:
"The biggest distorter is the LP itself. I've made thousands of LP masters. I used to make 17 a day, with two lathes going simultaneously, and I'm glad to see the LP go. As far as I'm concerned, good riddance. It was a constant battle to try to make that music sound the way it should. It was never any good. And if people don't like what they hear in digital, they should blame the engineer who did it. Blame the mastering house. Blame the mixing engineer. That's why some digital recordings sound terrible, and I'm not denying that they do, but don't blame the medium."
why is same ad repeated several times?
michael your insane. what the ? is this? u run out of feature vlog?
On the oft chance I might get a reply and Michael Fremer being the most knowledable of people I'll post my question here. When are we going to see a 50th Anniversary, now 51'st Anniversary issue of The Beatles, Let It Be??
Not happening
Channel dead?
Guys please give the respect that Michael and analogue planet deserves !!!
