It's amazing how far gaming has come. I can literally plug this thing in and be IN THE WORLD. it's nuts. I absolutely love my PSVR2
@@qaxcgyujm sorry I meant the psvr2. I edited my comment. I've never had the original ps vr
I remember when I was really young my uncle had this weird vr nintendo thing and it was all red and hurt to look at. Now playing Re8 psVr2 is amazing how fast tech is moving.
@@clockworkNate that was the virtual boyyyy
@Alex P ohhh yea that was the name of it, it was so weird, didn't even have a headstrap. 😂 but I guess they at least tried to lead the way.
Me too, especially Grand Turismo
The fact that GT7 supports the whole game in VR makes it a no brainer for me
Yeah, at first I kept looking for the VR section, like how they did in GT Sport. Finally realized you just go race wherever you want in VR. It's really impressive.
I watch a lot of VR CZcams and this is my first time seeing this channel. Very professionally yet engaging content. Very complete breakdown wo filler. Great job!
Absolutely amazing video! Beautiful shots and nice how you got everything anyone needs to know into a 15 min video
Thanks a lot!
I bought it and got it delivered yesterday. I tried few demos but when I started playing pistol whip, it blew me away! Song in the smoke looks and plays great as well. But yeah the sweet spot is very small, I had to fiddle with it a lot to get a good picture.
As someone who lives in a tiny studio, I don't have room for a big tv or a projector, so the cinema mode is a killer feature!
I can just lie down on my bed and enjoy classic games and movies! 👌
Thanks for the video spawn point! I always enjoy your level of detail and pace…
Mine was delivered yesterday. Been playing Horizon and Resident Evil Village. Horizon just blew me away, and RE feels like a brand new game.
I've been having fun with village. Just doing random things you can't do in the original. Like having a pistol in one hand and the shotgun in the other. Or running away while pointing my weapon behind me. Throwing my knife. Even tossing my guns up in the air and catching them. It's amazing really.
RE village feels crazy too. Like the tutorial and the first scene. I was in disbelief but it did leave me nauseated. Horizon has the gesture option which doesn't cause the motion sickness. Kayak VR was also amazing but heavy waters caused motion sickness. Maan hate this motion sickness. Any remedy?
I played resident evil but I was too scared to carry on haha
Glad I found your overview & review on the PSVR 2. Well presented, enjoyable to watch, and very informative. Cheers!
Thank you!
Your shots and B-rolls are amazing can’t lie, love the content, the VR 🔥
Thank you 🙌
@@SpawnPoiint you are welcome 🙏🏾
Waited for your review, did not disappoint. Thanks
Glad you enjoyed it!
Great review! Covered absolutely everything I needed to know. Thanks!
Glad it was helpful!
I've been playing my PSVR2 solid since launch and I'm overwhelmed. It's a massive upgrade from the original PSVR and the games that are impressing me the most is Horizon Call Of The Mountain and Gran Turismo 7. The graphics and play experience is truly amazing. Highly recommend the PSVR2.
Same..I've been playing those two also. They're great together, Horizon is great but it's not the type of game I can play for more than an hour or so standing. So having GT7 is a perfect accompaniment. Driving games are perfect for Vr. I'd love a crazy taxi vr game tbh
@@djjjjj I agree Horizon can be quite a workout with all that climbing. I've just got myself a Logitech G29 steering wheel to accompany my GT7 experience and it's awesome.
Can you play nba 2k23?
It's a lot of money for 2 good games
I've felt conflicted with it since launch. I loved the PSVR1 at the time with titles like PSVRWorld's 'Ocean Descent'(Shark dive was incredible), Astro Bot Rescue Mission, Moss, Resident Evil 7 etc, but the PSVR2's tethered cable just feels extremely dated at this point, cumbersome, it's that barrier that breaks immersion and ruins Stand-up VR.
Plus, i'm not a fan of Sony deciding to opt for a high motion persistence OLED display. You basically trade motion clarity for brightness with the VR brightness slider, which creates more head movement blur. Head movement blur wont exist on Quest 3 because of it's 1ms motion persistence(zero motion blur) @100nits+ brightness. At best, VR2 gets down to 2ms @only 60 nits which makes the image look unrealistically dim and bleak, but it's the only way to get good motion. The further you raise the brightness slider, the more head movement motion blur you get.
More minor complains would be the PSVR2's small sweet spot, chunky front visor, cumbersome bulky Ring'd controllers and that it's not as comfortable as PSVR1, specifically around the nose area which feels a bit front-heavy and harsh after 20 minutes.
On the flip side, Resident Evil: Village is absolutely incredible! Once you make it to Castle D it will have your jaw hitting the floor. It's worth the price of admission alone, plus Resident Evil 4: VR Mode is on the way and hopefully an AstroBot sequel. Also looking forward to the PlayStation Airpods, so i can finally ditch those wired dangly buds which detroys PSVR2's aesthetic. :P
Been waiting for the Spawnpoiint take on this. Thanks for all the effort you put into this super comprehensive review Chris and hope you and the family have settled into the new house OK.
I’ll be picking one of these up once the lineup grows.
Thanks Mark, I appreciate that 🙏

@@jequantavious2822 That's exactly why I'm here 🤣
Great video; I'm amazed at this product.
You convince me to get one. Especially watching Netflix with them on will feel like I'm in the movies.
I'm currently playing RE8. I was disappointed during my first flat screen playthrough. But now in VR mode, I'm having a blast! The area and enemies takes on a whole new level of depth!
I’m playing RE8 too. Unlike you, I was not at all disappointed with the flat version. I loved it and played it about 6 times, repeating new game + until I had infinite ammo unlocked for my favorite guns (especially the Stake magnum), so I was really looking forward to importing that save, and very upset that they’re not allowing that. I’m sure they have some lame excuse but they absolutely could have done that, and chose not to. I can imagine their actual reason was, they want to give us proper incentive to replay the full game multiple more times, and I can’t say that doesn’t make sense I suppose.
@@TedwardsTube Other than not allowing the old save, how do you stack up the VR version with the original? Would like to hear from someone who played through it so many times.
@@J2thaCee I’m enjoying the hell out of it. It’s much more terrifying in VR. I’m glad I know it so well because it helps be less scared. I generally know when it’s safe to explore and what specific thing will trigger the appearance of the next threat.
I wish the developers had hired someone who understood better how stereoscopy works. There are many times it seems so obvious they didn’t. For example when looking at lots of things in the environment with text, a floating popup appears for you to read. Problem is, it’s very often in the wrong place in the z-axis (depth / distance) in respect to other objects that you also see, and this disparity not only makes it hard to read these things (closing one eye solves the problem) but also hurts your eyes and can contribute to getting a headache, not to mention contributing to the already big problem of people unaware of why it hurts to look at being turned off from 3D / VR.
@@TedwardsTube That's sick. I used to say RE7 on PSVR was the scariest experience ever so I know this will be even better. Thanks for the response and don't get trapped!
Your reviews are so in depth, had to subscribe. Cheers!
Much appreciated!
Ur videos always answer everything which other youtubers don't like you to know!
I appreciate the feedback. Thank you 🙏
It's great they finally made the screen size more adjustable, I liked watching a few movies/youtube videos on the first vr and the problem was always that the screen was either too close to your face so it felt like sitting in the first row in a movie theater or too far away where the image moves with your head.
can you use CZcams, Netflix app like a theater?
@@felixlechat1780yes we can *Obama voice*
On the subject of motion sickness, you can train yourself not to get it fairly easily. What I've done with friends is give them a motion sickness pill like Gravol before trying it the first time. This will suppress motion sickness before you start to feel bad. Then if they feel any sickness while playing, stop and do something else before it gets uncomfortable.
If you do that for your first 2 sessions, then on the 3rd session, don't bother with the motion sickness pill, but still stop if you feel uncomfortable. You'll very quickly get to where you're not bothered at all since your brain will get used to the mismatch between what it's seeing and what it's feeling.
Great great great review mate!
it pretty much answered all my questions that other reviewers seem to ignore, glad I stumbled upon this vid!
Thank you 🙏
I see that sway desk... By the way love your content, the b-roll and insight are unlike any other! Hard to believe you only film with your phone.
Good spot! haha yep, still using an iPhone, it's underated for creating videos.
Psvr2 is fantastic. As somebody who has owned a valve index and reverb G2 it compares very very well. The colours on it are the best I have seen on any vr headset. Horizon, RE8 and GT7 are amazing.
Do you prefer psvr2 over reverb g2?
@@schummy3000 It's really hard to say, spec wise similar, but the reverb and index have thousands of games, this has 5 so far.
@@VarietyGamerChannelyep, we will need to eait for more games to appear
Great great review Spawn as always. I might get one of these when I get my PS5.
Thank you 🙏
Ty sm for this review I'm looking to see if I should get this or meta quest 3
I just purchased mine this morning can’t wait to try it out!!!
I've been playing video games for over forty plus years now and I remember playing my first video game. It was Pong, two paddles and a ball. I thought it was mind blowing at the time, Lol! As of the present, I started getting into VR gaming about two years ago and I would have never thought gaming would ever come this far! It's incredible and I'm loving it! Can't wait to see what the future holds!
Yeah man, I remember looking at a Sony Trinitron TV at a Nintendo Entertainment system with a friend and saying, "wow you can bring arcade games into your home now". Now games are insane I can't wait for matrix level VR games to develop with photoreal cities and people in them to talk to.
With each new revision of a PS, I wonder how much better things can get. I would assume at some point the controllers will have tactile functions so you can feel everything your eyes experience. Along with that will be a type of upper body glove that will give you the same experience, so you'll feel on your chest where your character gets shot, of course without the pain. The ultimate will be a kill option. If you die in the game, you die! Of course that won't be for the faint of heart to play, but it would be an adrenaline rush for those with the gonads, and yeah, I don't have them!
I played the resi 4 remake demo in cinema mode. It was awesome. Leon was life sized. Everything was huge. I played standing up and it felt like I was walking behind him as he went through the game. Because everything is pitch black inside the headset and all I could see was the game on a huge cinema screen it turned the atmosphere up another level. It was an amazing experience.
I've played a few non VR ps5 games like this and really enjoyed them.
It really adds to the value of buying psvr2 having a personal cinema screen to play games, watch youtube, and movies.
Just think about playing resident evil 4 remake in VR
I got mine on Feb 22, been playing ever since. And I'm still watching this vid
Great video and great quality too... What camera do you use? The quality is stunning.
Great review. Definitely buying it. GT7 looks incredible. Had the vr1 and really enjoyed it
Nice review!!
I'm loving my PSVR2. Call of the Mountain, Kayak Mirage and GT7 are mind blowing. There's also a handful of demos now on the PS Store. Loads more content to come thru 2023 such as Switchback VR and Foglands and hoping for more announcements later (Astrobot please Sony!)
Keep up the good work dude!
AceCombat… is sorely needed. You can get your Astrobot fix with Moss book 1 and book 2.
Thank you 🙏
@@theanimaster Ace combat is coming I believe
@@theanimaster Wingman looks good and it’s coming. I wouldn’t be surprised if Ace Combat was on the way as well.

Just got mine TODAY! can’t wait to play
Almost $600 for a non-wireless and no built in 3d sound stereo system, makes this hardware a little over priced imo. However, I would love to try GT7 and Horizon mountain. That being said I'm not paying that much for just two games I would play. Waiting for a better game library, and a possible holiday sale will be my strategy. Great video btw, liked and subscribed.
From what I heard, specs of this is better than best VR, which goes for over 1k right now
solid choice. as someone who loves vr and has played it for years I'm completely burnt out due to lack of good tittles to play. that's with access to a huge amount of games pc/quest has to offer. the tiny library of the psvr2 is going to leave people with a nice paper weight after a month or two.
@@traveler8010 again I love the specs, but I'm not spending hundreds of dollars just for what I know would only be two games I would actually play then forget about the thing. I can't even hook it up to my PC to stream my Steam games, which Sony now has their exclusives on as well. Make it make economical sense from that standpoint and I'll happily go buy one right now.
most people use a headset or have a sound system already on the tv. it would just weigh more and fill more. im actually glad it dont have sound build in. reason its wired is cause it takes power from the PS5. but that also means better performance and better graphics.
I have played couple of days now, first VR headset i ever had, and honestly, i havent noticed the Wire at all.
The only thing I’m upset about is the home menu. I wish Sony would’ve made a special home menu for vr like the quest 2, it would’ve been so cool
I agree, would be great to have a virtual Home Screen like the quest.
Honestly, IF it was backwards-compatible, it would be a day-1 must-buy.
For now, it's a very nice upgrade to Gran Turismo Sport's VR mode regardless of no design changes (including with the same VR-specific missing data, oddly) & a really nice baseline experience for people who have never experienced virtual reality outright. Saying they've "added" a virtual showroom in Gran Turismo isn't accurate, for example, as it already existed in GT Sport (albeit the VR replay is a new feature).
Once the library comes to even a fraction of the PSVR1 or any other VR headset, notably including the ubiquitous experiences like CZcams 360 videos & cross-VR-platform titles or even a single flight-sim game for testing (baffling to not have one at launch), it will absolutely be "worth buying," I believe.
Great video, mate. Found this almost on accident but compelled to subscribe right away. Brilliant work. 💯
I love you Spawn! keep bringing this kind of content, the best by far!

@@SpawnPoiintdoes it work for skyrim?
Loved your review of the PSVR2. I was on the fence about it but the Horizon game along with how good GT 7 looked has me sold. Even being able to see wild-life and explore in the Kayaking game seems impressive. Certainly believe that VR is the future and this might be the perfect time to get involved.
Kayaking game is nice, but content is super sparse. Only a couple of locations.
I remember when curved and 3d TVs were the future but that went sideways. Not sure whether to upgrade from the PSVR1 to the PSVR2 or not. PSVR1 was a short lived novelty for me TBH

The PSVR2 tech looks really good. I’m not sure if I would play this for a long time, but GT7 VR definitely looks interesting.
Great job man I love VR and this seems great 👍🏻❤️
Great video man. Subscribed
IMPORTANT: There is a very important lesson to be learned about motion sickness. You need to ACCLIMATE into vr sometimes and get your vr legs. I have been playing VR for 6 years on PC. People hop right into high intensity games and sometimes that is the worst thing you can do. Start slow. Play simpler games where you don't move much if at all, like Space Pirate Trainer. You can feel a bit off the first few times so take your time. Maybe play 10 or 15 and stop and get out to take a break. You can acclimate to it, it is just a mind f*k sometimes.
I'm currently having this issue as a first time VR user, but I just can't get over it.
@@mhorvath514 just playing games with low intensity will help. Like Moss 1/2. Idk what other games are on psvr2 that are relaxed. Literally DONT play games with locomotion (regular thumbstick movement) as that will make you the most sick. Stick to games where you teleport for a bit then slowly walk around in other games.
Thanks for your feedback and help on this.
@@mhorvath514 Yes you CAN get over it. No exceptions/excuses! Just keep trying.
@@mhorvath514 try Googling help with VR sickness. A fan will help. Chewing gum will help. Chewing ginger gum more so etc. keep at it. It takes time.
I’ve held out all my PSVR 2 reviews until this one. I definitely want it for Gran Turismo, but I’m not in a rush. I hope I can try it out somewhere in the next month or so.
I appreciate that 🙏
Great comprehensive video!
Great thorough review fella, some sound advice here.
Thank you!
Psvr2 is a great piece of kit. My advice is to get GT7 and Horizon if you can afford it. Horizon comes in a bundle. The reason I say get both games is because...Horizon is great... but it's the type of game you'll only want to play for an hour or so at a time. There's lots of climbing and the combat parts require some effort. Nothing too gruelling or anything, but you'll want to take breaks and space it out over a few days. So having something like GT7 which you can just sit down and play is a good accompaniment, plus it's amazing.
As someone who is intrigued by the technology and heightening the immersion of games, Sony deserve great credit for this. Both Resident Evil Village and GT7 are standouts as they are fully fledged games rather than an "on-rails" experience and this is what needs to continue if they are to convince potential buyers that this isn't treated as niche.
Personally, I have never tried VR and would love to check if this is an experience I would enjoy before buying as well (I wish there were sample units in somewhere like GAME where you could book a slot to test??). Oddly, as I've got older I have become more prone to sea-sickness and although not exactly the same need to be sure that I would feel continued discomfort!
Very informative no bs video, thank you
Glad you liked it
Great review! Ty!
Just keep in mind that the picture quality in the headset is fantastic for VR, thus image quality is not comparable to 4k on a flat screen, the two are vastly different and as long as your expectations are inline with that you will be very pleased!
Quoting/paraphrasing from this video:
4K HDR, everything we see looks sharp and vibrant.
This game looks crazy clear and I've been truly blown away by how nice the visuals are, including the brightness and clarity as well.
No blooming or washed out colours.
All misleading statements and ones which set a false standard.
@SentinelGames yesss I understand what you are saying, yes vr looks fantastic, but this is from people who know what to expect of VR and the current state of the technology. When someone who has never used VR sees these statements and puts the headset on they are immediately upset and disappointed, we need to manage expectations on where the tech is in VR as it stands today, pixelation will not go away in VR until we get 8k resolution per eye, that is 7680×4320 and that's per eye. When you compare that to psvr2 at 2000×2040 per eye we start to see how image quality still suffers. I love virtual reality but let us not hype people into thinking the quality of the image is in anyway comparable to flat 4k gaming in terms of image quality, its the 3d depth perception that's the wow factor
@@TheAbvsyork I completely agree with you. It's sad that people have been so deceptive about it, they should have just been upfront and honest.
Thank you both for this great discussion. Should bei highlighted for everybody to read.
I am sick of people complaining about the sharpness due to their false expectations..
Psvr2 ist great, but definitely not as sharp as a 4k Monitor and it takes some time to find the sweetspot.
@MattHei thanks for the compliment. I really wish everyone could read this, alot of individuals are coming from 0 vr experience and just don't know what they are getting themselves into, factor in the motion sickness, and people will return this product instantly thinking its just bad, not knowing vr sickness is something our brain can adapt to and overcome with a little time and patience.
Can you try the kayak VR game and give a review because it looks so good on the trailer that it’s almost unrealistic
OK, I'm definitely going to buy one now, awesome review, thank you!
Great review
Gonna pick one of these up this summer if they’re still widely available, I really hope some more games come to it (or at least get announced) over the next few months though, as the lineup is pretty damn weak at the moment. Hell if Half-Life Alyx comes to this thing I’ll buy it that second.
Great video. Got my PSVR2 on launch day and it's definitely a light year from the first-generation headset. GT7 is transformative; almost a life-changing experience. No hyperbole. Kayak VR is gorgeous, yet still way more of a 'workout' than I expected. My arms got tired fairly quick. But the most flat-out fun I've had yet is Pistol Whip. What a crazy-fun game. Worth the purchase; the game AND the headset.
I’ve watched pistol whip vids and I’m not impressed. Seems like you shoot enemy out of beat with the music. The shooting enemy should be on beat like a DJ mixing but it don’t seem that way. For instance, in thumper you generally hit the icons in time with music and don’t seem so with pistol whip.
@@grahamkelly8662 You are supposed to shoot the enemy in rhythm with the beat but it doesn’t force you to. You get a better score and it emphasizes the shot when you do. The haptics feel great. And dodging the bullets becomes like a dance to the music.
@@74Spyderman how do you dodge incoming fire?
@@grahamkelly8662 You literally dodge it physically in real life. The red circles you see in the videos show where the bullets are going to go and then the bullets come at you in slow motion (not too slow) and you just duck, step to the side or even turn sideways to avoid them. It’s quite the work out if you play it correctly. Lol
@@74Spyderman oh, sounds good. Is it possible to play effectively, sitting down? I’m new to vr, get heavy motion sickness, after minutes. As a result, for now, I MUST play sitting down. Maybe this games a bit difficult, sitting? Have you tried it sitting down?
I'm definitely getting in a couple of days I'm just glad it's enough in stock
Great review , absolutely loving my Vr 2
Great to hear!
Got mine yastarday and I did not like it at all !!
.. looking to sell it now
Hey buddy. Awesome video review, highly detailed. I was wondering if the settings stay the same while using the headset in a different location? For example I have a PS5 in my room and my Dad has one in our living room. Will the settings stay the same on each system? Of course fit and other settings would need to be changed before each use. Thank you.
I’m definitely planning on buying it I’m just waiting for more games to come out.
Love the PSVR2 headset it’s amazing 🔥🔥
I have to correct you on one point. PSVR2 does not “support 4K visuals”. It has a single 4K screen, but since the image needs to be in 3D (stereoscopic) it has to put two nearly identical images side-by-side on that screen, so the image(s) i.e. resolution is approximately halved - about 2K. Sony rather deliberately misled people on this point, and it is being widely misinterpreted.
Ya, a lot of people new to VR are disappointed with the blurry visuals.
In reality, it's quite a bit sharper than other headsets. And that's what reviewers compare it to, other headsets.
But people see the marketing of 4k HDR OLED and expected it to approach a TVs quality, which it just doesn't. So many are disappointed.
But still, it really is a great headset.
Looks like you just didn’t do your homework on VR, bud. Better luck next time!
They are giving you 4k displays (pixel count wise). Not realizing that its divided per eye by now means you haven’t watched an explanation video on how Vr resolution works, because everyone explains this fact. Pimax makes 8k screens (4k per eye) and even a 12k version but getting that thing to run properly without constantly dropping frames is a absolute nightmare to even the most pc savvy consumers.
@@mangasaint Did you even read my comment. I’m extremely well aware and did my homework. Im not complaining about the headset. I’m merely pointing out that the video erroneously said PSVR supports 4K visuals. It does not.
The PS VR2 headset has an OLED display with a resolution of 2000 x 2040 per eye. That’s not 2K. Sorry bud.
I have never experienced VR so want to finally try it, it looks awesome
Mate , you are by far the best review of the psvr2...brilliant!!!

It’s horribly irritating that the IPD calibration isn’t in the quick settings. This is sorely needed between different users.
I have to do it every time I use it! The whole UI on PS5 is trash.
I’m sure this something they will improve with updates. Although all you have to do is 2 button presses to access it.
Spawn is on point when it comes to PSVR2! It is great to play GT7!
Thank you 🙏
I was waiting for this ❤️
Thank you for this… definitely going to get one.. only question I have is, what size would you say the Vr screen is while playing or watching movies ?
Pavlov VR is worth recommendation. Especially zombie mode is epic. Ofcourse aiming is difficult at the begining, but an hour of praktice and you aim like a sniper.
Yes I’ve heard a lot of good things about that.
Pavlov is a blast
Yeah lol I have both the quest 2 and psvr2 and honestly it does look A lot better, I noticed since it uses the ps5 it has a lot more power to work with in general so it has a lot more energy to deliver all those visuals into the headset. Either way. I prefer the psvr2 for personal use lol, and the meta quest is more for kids. Even meta doesn’t offer powerful pc VR games that are usually available in the oculus rift or oculus pro
Just got the psvr2 today. Having a blast with gt7, now I just began playing the resident evil village demo
This is my first VR experience. Every review i see talks about how good the graphics are. The picture quality is actually extremely underwhelming. The graphics definitely don't look as good as they do on a 4k TV.
They definitely won’t look as good as a 4K TV, because that’s 4K, this is essentially 4K split between two lenses.
Just met Lady Dimitrescu in VR. Enough said... :)
I bet that looks insane in VR!
She look more sexy?

Damn thank you. I nearly didn’t use it too.
@@SpawnPoiint Good thing you did. It's just amazing. Same with the video, the style and theme of your videos are unique and feel premium. Great Work 👍
Got my psvr2 at launch day. Been using it everyday. Won't be going back to flat screen for gt7. It will be never the same again.
I think in a year or so we will see that the playstation vr2 is strictly for triple aaa and gaming and other headsets will be for things like metaverse and stuff more of the social side of vr but i am curious to see of sony decides to jump in that world to maybe make it better
It'll be interesting to see what the next year brings. I have high hopes for it.
I really hope more people buy this beautiful piece. Today I showed it to my elder friend aged 70. She was in disbelief because she has checked out quest 1 and roller coaster rides but when she was in GT7 in garage inside the car of her dreams, she was in disbelief. She had tears in her eyes. You can literally make someone's dream come true by teleporting them into that world. She even drove the car and it was amazing to see.
I don't agree. There is a place for smaller developers and cheaper fun games. Things like Rock Drums and Puzzling Places are good, cheap fun.
Walkabout golf is coming soon, another simple cheapish game many people will buy.
Psvr2 is definitely for gaming, as opposed to non gaming vr applications, but it's certainly not just for triple a games. Every vr game potentially has a place on psvr2.
Pavlov and moss are fantastic on it playing them more than horizon
Pavlov has blown my mind!
And for only $25 bucks it’s crazy good
Where can I try a demo of it?
Best tech channel lad! Congrats! 👏🏻
Wow, thanks!
😆 First time playing any kind of VR and a couple of times I felt like I was going to fall over but after playing for a few days that feeling has gone.
Call of the mountain is brilliant without seeing through the VR2 it's hard to explain just how good the game looks.
For those you wonder if it is worth to get the PSVR2 just to play GT7, it is 100% worth it. I had been playing GT7 and Forza Horizon solely on my 85" QN900B, but now I play GT7 on the PSVR2 and I rarely play Forza anymore. Driving a go cart on the PSVR2 I can really sense the speed which I can never feel on my tv. When I use my PSVR2 pairing with a decent sound system ( For example, I use my Q990B), I truly feel like I am out on the roads. I only wish Microsoft made a VR as well since I love roaming around in different cars on Forza Horizon.
Love your videos! How do you record TV screen and macbook screen?
Fantastic review for sure man nice job definitely probably getting it I have a Logitech g29 wheel I'm excited to try with gt7 and PSVR2
I don’t know how people keep saying it looks crazy clear. I’ve had it for 2 days now and COTM looks blurry to me. I guess I haven’t found the sweet spot but so far I’m kinda torn about it.
It's probably not finding the sweet spot and/or the Mura effect which is inherent with these types of lenses. He should have mentioned it in his video. Lowering the brightness a bit to like 60-70% (which is still bright enough) makes it less distracting, but it is always there. The trade off is much better blacks and colors. Once you accept it is there, you will stop focusing on it in unbelievable games like GT7.
@@Belgarath777 thanks! Sadly, turns out I had already found the narrow sweet spot. It looks just a tad bit better and I lowered the brightness as well. Still debating if I should keep it to break up the monotony of regular gaming. I’m just kinda bummed it’s not what most of these CZcamsrs are saying. Especially reviewers from Digital Foundry which said it was super crisp and HD like. It’s my first VR headset btw.
Mura is killing the Immersion, tiny sweet spot is bs also. Personally i get light leak from my surroundings.. the flaps are not doing it for me. Tracking is messing up time to time.. Biggest issue is the mura.. constantly noticeable.. 😔
Have you tried lowering the brightness? It's still there, but I find it less distracting around 60-70%, especially when playing games like GT7.
Nicely done and thank you🍀🍀🍀🍀
Thank you kindly. I appreciate the support.
Do you have a link that gives you commission for the purchase of a PS5 and/or PSVR2? @@SpawnPoiint
Left no stone unturned there! I'm really happy you mentioned playing non vr games cos that was kind of a selling point for me
Im having issues with mine sadly, it is just very blurry, every review says that it is crystal clear and thats just not true when it comes to my psvr2. Maybe it is my unit
Have a look on 'Push Square' they have a video about fixing blurry images. I've not watched it though.
Same here. Not sharp as the reviews say.
Also does Gran Turismo display the game logo in the bottom right hand corner in game? That would be most annoying.
CZcams videos seem to make everything super sharp.
They also need to add 3D movie playback to the PS5.
You might not be putting it on right or you need glasses. Unlike other headsets that sit closer to your face and don’t require glasses the psvr2 sits a little further away, so if you need glasses at all you’ll have to wear them with the psvr2 to get a sharper image.
@@dbzcollector9963 I wear glasses and it makes no difference with or without still not as sharp as the reviews state.
I read the push square guide and it made no difference.
@@nickteale7600 define sharp? If your expectations are life like visuals then you may as well return it. While the display itself is 4k the fact that it sits close to your face makes it appear pixelated that’s about it. The blurry problem sounds like a personal one, maybe you need new glasses? But if that doesn’t help then you might have gotten a faulty unit or maybe vr just isn’t for you like many others. The point of vr isn’t to look life like it’s to put you in the game and interact with it, the immersion is supposed to distract from the visuals for the most part, but it shouldn’t look blurry at best it should look 1440p but a consistent fps which is good for vr as it reduces motion sickness.
For any self-respecting PS5 user, the psvr2 is a must purchase. It's smarter than just buying the PS5.
