- Kent's Fast Food - An old school place, established since 1985 this place gives you that family run diner feel. Where everybody knows everybody and the staff feel like family. This place is been serving up a classic mutton burger, which was nothing like I was expecting. Still, it was delicious along side some masala spicy fries and a whole lot a whole grain mustard.
AKU’S - The Burger Co. - This is like the dress it up and make it as extravagant as possible burger spot. Loaded with toppings, the burger isn't going to leave you hungry at all. Bacon, cheese, caramelized onions, and more, I honestly, can't remember everything on this burger. When I walked in here too, I knew it was a place that I had to go al out, I loaded. up on parmesan, truffle, and parsley fries, and got a milkshake to go with it. The burger was by far the best.
But who ultimately wins??? That's the question.

India also has it's own mustard sauce, different from the West. It's called Kasundi. You can find it in West Bengal and other Bengali areas in India. Chittaranjan Park, I believe, in Delhi is bengali inhabited.

Kasundi isn't exactly mustard. It's mustard, mango pickles and oil in a single sauce.

Egg is a little over done because Indians like it well cooked. You can ask them to have it under done and they will do it for you. In India you will find very few people liking an under done egg be it an omelette or boiled. Just a cultural thing. Also bacon being chewy is because not many people know how to do it any better, its not something we use every day and people cooking it have not grown up having bacon as part of their diets so they just don't know any better unfortunately.
Is it possible to get a beef burger in a local shop?

Def Col is a vibe in the evenings too. Those burgers have been around forever. As kids these were the few places that did the trick.

You can visit places here like Darjeeling, Shillong, Cherrapunji, Guwahati, Assam, Arunachal Pradesh, Tawang, Ziro etc or you can do some research on the internet. Akuls, Kents seem to be going the fast food route (the burger was not juicy, it was a dry patty, but that's maybe how some people like it). Just based on the look of it, Akuls, but the sides seems to be Kents.
